He closes his eyes completely as he wrestles with 20 points of cut all over his body, "I do what is right for me mine an those who care about others, an if whatever gods see fit to call me their own for being who I am then they are truly mine as well."  Being somewhat successful he opens his eyes and looks at Justin.  "More than one deity looks after this group, both luck and purity have their hands in our destiny, and darkness sees us the threat.  I can live and die with that for now is the time to do what is right."  Orlins eyes trail back to the centaur.

Justin's countenance saddens at the large one's dismissal of his council and the large ones misguided illformed concepts of the Divine's. Crossing to the trunk of the tree Kree is perched in, Justin leans against its trunk waiting for the team to gather.

Re: MOK

as the gathered.. Kree    looked around  at every one trying to   Gage  thier wounds  and such.. Ivy brought his Bow Up... and a little  fur creature    turned  and ran back into the Village....

..we have  a Plan?... and..most of it worked... Lucy.. Di?... the  thing here.. wasn't to destroy the Village.. it was to   get them  worried  about us.. so they wouldn't  track Brie and the slaves.. or the   group of Balck ones  headed  North and east... other times..other  Palces, I would have  been right beside you... but the people of these lands.. do not deserve  the have  an Arrow  die for them...

..That being said?...  Ivy and  I   followed  as far as we Dared, with out compromising the perimeter , that would   keep them from  seeing any tracks on our side of the rim...... Justin,  and  Myra..I did not see you durnign the battle, save for getting   Sir Palos  out if harms way.. we could have used  another Bow on the Rim

..These two folk..  came in,.. just in time...so?... we  ore or less destroyed the Village... at best.. the little ones  will be a long time rebuilding  and  protecting it... I am Unsure.. but it seems  we have  eliminated  thier  leadership.. I would have been interested to see who that ....somewhat  shorter ..person was..

..In a Moment   we will be leaving for that Drow's Vale.. we  will ask him   for a place to rest this  day... then head  to Mok at Sundown

While we  wait... I will Introduce  Myself... I will allow the others  to introduce  themselves  as they see fit... I cam Kree... Quickshadow, this is my Unit of  Arrows.. we are based in  The Black Timber, but  do most of our work, out of  The Walk The Plank Inn...In Ironmound...

.I am Ivian  Nightblade.. Cousin   and LT   to  Kree The   Black haire, sliver eyed  Elf Nods  to the new  folk

She smiles at the barbarian, and the elves about.  "I am fine.  Though I thank you for your concerns" she spoke.  Her voice was kind  and lilting  "My name is Stardancer.  I came here looking for Kree of the Crimson Arrows.  If I may?...what were those creatures?" she was curious as to what they were called in case she ran into them again.

Re: MOK

we do not know , for certain.. we have a girl from the beggar's  guild in Mok, that is ahead of us  with slaves we have  freed.. she Calls them tree Folks.. they look more like animals to me..... The taller ones.. are odd  creatures.. they seem, almost, not of these realms... they used the   smaller ones  for  troops.. they  taught them to feed on humanoids... I think the creatures  were ominvores  to start with..judging  by thier  teeth and fangs..

we had hoped to  give  the slaves  and the    'good'  small folks  time to escape..and ..perhaps   kill the TAll ones... It seems we have done much better... perhaps with the Blessings of Eta  and Netta.. we seem to have killed  the leaders?.. so...

"You can call me Feyamir, it is my given name. I was searching for a missing squad of Crimson Arrows with my own squad. One of my squadmates died, snakebite. Second one decided to return, perhaps to grieve her lover. I continue the search, and would like to ask your help with it. Within reasonable borders.

Young Stardancer, your name is beautiful and reminds me of better times ... but you should take care of your injury. Unlike my people, yours can get sick. Jungle tends to infect even the most silly wounds on people that are not me or my kin. It is why I am checking if Swiftwing isn't harmed.
"

The golden eyed elf looked at the angel-creature, but looked away when they spoke of gods with a dissaproving frown. At least to other elves present it would be obvious.

"The small ones remind me of humans and goblins from my homeland. Very diverse, but can learn awful things and treat them as wisdom."

She smiled "As I said, I heal very quickly.  even now the flow has stopped and my wounds heal.  A bit of rest and perhaps a wash you would never tell I was injured" she responded and in truth her hide was now crsted with her blood, the wounds were clean.  "I came to find Kree as I was asked to do so, though the message I was told to bring is a bit troubling to my ears.  It was for an answer.  I believe it holds more.  It was as to why you went against the Black Timber against the Trace arrows.  I am sure they sent me since I am not elf and still a novice with the Crimson Arrows" it did occur to her it may have been a ruse to get her away.

Re: MOK

Orlin had moved onto his knees where he plucked the remaining arrows from his flesh and cloak.  Luckily his tactics had worked well enough that as per the roll of the cosmic dice non of the arrows of the big ones had hit the old one.

When Kree asked to his health he nods looking at the last arrow in his hand “I gave unmonitored control expecting to wake in the vale of the dark elf.  It would appear the old one wasn’t in the mood to fly that far but my depth of sleep left some strength.”  Orlin turns his head and spits out a small piece of skull “that and he ate something vile that sustained us.”  Orlin struggles to his feet leaning heavily on his staff.  “I’m strong enough to walk from this place .”

As the others introduce themselves, he smiles absently to himself.  “Well met, Fayamer and Star dancer.  It sounds like you may have brought us victory this day.  I have estringents enough to clean any wounds that may fester.  For now let us find a place with fresh water and fewer enemies.”

Re: MOK

Kree  looks to  Justin,..I am uncertsain what they could have, that we  could use? But i would not  mind  finding  out  who..or what that  that  other  type of  humanoid  was  with them at the Center ?  But>  there is  a lot  of Dark spaces  down there.. there  may be some Brave one who stayed to   try to   recover what they can?.. or  those  who were too frightened   to  try and escape, or fight.  They may ambush us out  of Vengeance or  fright.

Kree looked out over the  burning  areas  of the Crater. Some  still burned, while others   were dying out, and  the fuel it fed on died. ..Neither the Black Timer, Nor  the Trace Wood..wish to  send   active  Arrows  into the lands of the  Sand Folk...tghey  fear  counter attacks on our   Trees and homelands?

His arm Motions to the Cavern Mouth, about 1/2  mile away,..one group of Arrows  was sent   to the   Demon's  Horns.. on some pretense. of relics  and such..they were not  heard of  again. alot of people were  credited , with having died in the Sands. But... I think Most were brought here. As  Both slaves  and Sacrifices.   The   decided  to  take  My Unit   to see for ourselves.... Without  being  sent  by the Arrows  themselves ... Rumors  and spies  , have a  way of   proceeding us...and? I must  say we do tend to leave our mark as we travel.

..our  Next step, is to  Return to the Timber...with out  letting the Trace Arrows  know what we suspect... we  will drop of  the  people who wish to go  and Live at the Timber.. but those who do not, will be escorted  to the entrance of the  Timber  , that leads to the road to Tou....

Then he  looks over the others,..then.. we  return   this way..but  we will divert to   the Trace Wood..and see  about  Hunting  down those   that  i feel have wrong the Arrows...

He shrugs,After that.. we will have to report to  The Plank, and see  what  contracts are on the offing...

Re: MOK

Feyamir gave Stardancer a tigh lipped smile and a small nod of acknowledgment, then he listened carefully to Kree's explanations. Upon hearing about political moves within the Arrows, he snarled with fury. But spoke none, except glaring furiously for few moments ... before returning to grooming of his giant eagle. One of his eyes returned to Stardancer, before his frown softened further and he just shook his head.
"This world is crazy. Degenerates acting like utter fools, while being of local Sidhelin ... I mean elves. Mini-winged godlings, as if big ones weren't enough. Half-human horse people, at least meeting Stardancer was a nice surprise. Local goblins are brown and black, instead of bald and green. Unfortunately, humans are the same as back home. Unfortunately."

For a moment Feyamir sounded here like some old complaining grandpa. He then looked back to Kree after winking at old Orlin and spoke, still in his oddly accented human tongue.
"So you say that it is not implausible that I was sent here to die, like those other teams, just because I look like your elves and have red hair? That, and I'm foreigner who laughs at the human stupidity much too often? Also, what is with that gigantic finger? It is some god buried?"
