"I am not worried.  If this is the only way for me to board the ship then this is what is" she said calmly as she held a bit of the netting to help steady herself.  She also knew that going below decks was going to be a problem.  She would talk with Kree and the captain about an area to rest if this trip would be too long.

Khorvar waited in the boat hoping she did not slip. He would not be much help if she did, but he kept his eyes on the dock his hand crossbow ready.

Myranda found the process of transferring Stardancer from.the longboat to ths ship, a combinstion of humbling and intriguing. She offered what moral, physical and verbal support she could in the circmstances.

Noting the crew were well practiced at the procedure, Justin was certain they were more than capable of transferring Stardancer to the Ship, however if they have no objection Justin offers to help with the process.

MOK  #2

Thinking about it Stardancer could help the as well.  They about had her above the railing to swing her over.  She pulled her own rope out and as she moved a large strand of her hair fell across her face and eyes. Needing to see she moved her hair with the hand that had the rope as she still grasped the netting with the other .  Passing the rope through the open netting she fiddles with it a moment, after poking both arms through of course and she twirls it like a lasso.  Finally letting the end be tossed to the mainsail mast.  It catches solid and she tugged with her strength and easily pulled herself from over water to over the deck. The arm moved quickly as well and now she could be lowered to the deck. Puling it back through the netting to herself she whispered to herself

MOK  #2

After Tense  Moments   Stardancer  id brought on Deck.

BronzeFist Nods  at  His Crew,Well then.. that worked  Out  Right... Now , when we get ta where ya wanna go, well Juts Have her  Go down the Gang way , we use for loadin' Barrels and such..

Kree    leaned on the railings  after  climbing up,..why  was not, that used  now?

well? Laddie? we dunna have a place to put the other end of the Plank , now do we? he stood there  with his fist on his hips , smiling.

..Kree pointed to the starboard side of the  ship where the 'gates' were for the  gangway ,could not, have  we,  rowed around the   ship  and you would have had to Lift her  some 10 feet less in the air?

The smiled Dropped and the Dwarf  looked at the Gates, Then   Back as he rubbed his thick  braided beard,..Aye.. that we could have... Have Ta remember that next time..ahh, well.. all is good   she is On board.. tie fer us to  clear the  Deck for a Party

The ship was  moving well  upstream towards the Black Timber ..On the  wind, there was the smell of Burning Horse flesh  and Cattle, as the  fires   reached the  stables if the Merchant Quarter...screams, though  faint,, could be heard from  those who had been surprised , to trapped by the  flames..

the  growing  light  to the Northeast, did little to hide the    Bright lights of the western part of the City,, and  light up the  cleft  between the hills where the  River Demon once rested.

Kree stood at the stern railing  and watched.. Ivy  came up and grinned as he rested a   foot on the railing and used it to support his  elbow, that supported the hand...that supported his chin.

The Dwarven Captain  came up to them,,,that's a Mighty big  fire...The  rest of the city..iffin they'er  smart  will mark sure to watch for sparks and such.. but those  Big walls the Merchant Lord   had to separate   the poor  folk..might  have  done them in..

Kree Nodded   with a half smile, If that fire  HAppened  at the Palace in Ironmound.. every  citizen  would  be runnign to put it out... there may be soe grumbling about   Emperor  Lod? But he makes sure  his ...'normal folks' are taken care of...If that fire happened in  Razorhawk Village,,,  there would  even be sone animals that  tried to help... because they know what  we stand  for...There.. Teh Merchant Lords  treated the poor and working folks like slaves, while  they dinned on the finest.. I don't think there  will be many folks  from the  rest of teh town, in a hurry to put out the flames.

Re: MOK  #2

When the pallet landed on the deck Stardancer began to extricate herself from the netting put there for her safety and then gathered her rope.  Finally she managed to safely get her footing on the deck.  "I thank you all for helping come aboard" She moved carefully until she made sure her footings were safe.  "Shall we tend to our wounded as we sail?"

Khorvar watched all of this from below her on the row boat. He was a bit more interested than he should of been, but tried to not stare too much. He gave a whistle once she made it on the ship and then scurried up as well.

Khorvar smiled a toothy smile nodding. "Dat be one interestin adventure. What ya got planned fer us next? How much trouble did ya cause em?"

Kree  waved  Khorvar to teh Stern where he  Ivy and   The CAptain stood.

well..  as your  frist  go round with  us.. I have to  tell you.. I didn't  get to do want i wanted to do. I wanted to get rid  of the Adults in teh Beggars  guild that were loyal to the  Merchant Lords... we  did not  do that... But.. we stark a Blow   against the Merchant Lords..and Mok  , itself. The fire    is, killing and maiming alot of people... and, because  of the  walls they use... they  are now in an oven... with little or no chance of the poor  folks  bothering to aid them... the cost in lives  and  Coin will be great...but..as with all vermin.. some will survive...we  may have  inadvertently , started  a  war..if they  can prove  were  we came  from.

..our host here, says the ship we  destroyed..  has  ravaged the  River  for years... that means, Mok  won't be able to force trade.

He  shouldered  his bow  as he said,..the sad  turn of  events, is , if they have someone smart enough to  check the grating  we entered by, they will go into the  sewers  and   question the  Beggars.. if some one saw  us.. they will be gin to try to figure out who we  were... if they do not believe the beggars guild,  there were  be   a lot  of dead beggars...

Ivy  shrugged..you can make a pie, unless you roll out the dough.... if they are foolish enough to  slaughter baggers. Mok may be  in Civil war.. if that happens.. no one  will  have to worry much about Mok for a long time

Dey be a bit pissed at da moment an smash a few a dere 'eads, but da beggars guild out numbers em an dey be dirty fighters. Wish I be warned fer 'and bout da beggars guild. I could a made it look like dey were in on dis 'ole ding. Da fires alone be a big cut fer em as well. So we be winnin some in all dis, so ya dealt em a good open shot."

Khorvar gave a nod and toothy smile. "Now I be sayin it be time fer ale an food!"

Re: MOK  #2

as the  tables   we  set, and Justin    provided the  Food... Myra  had    Jolly boats   take    feasts  to   the other  two  ships.

People  ate  and  Drank, the   crew  used  squeeze boxes  and   pipes  and   fiddles to provide  entertainment

Talk centered  around Mok and  what might  happen  with this   attack.

Kree  made  it certain, that  he was no politician, but..  Mok  could   declare a war, if they were   willing  enough... That would change the   river traffic  on the LAther  river..  as , both side s would be  attacking trade  and warships  to the North  and one the Sea, while  anyone comign past Ironmound would have to  deal with  small baors   swarming them and  Fire  arrows  buring them to the water Line .

..if you  find  our ship, that we  took from teh slavers?.. You could add that  to yur little flotilla here  and   either  Serve  the  Empire?..or  get a letter  of marque from them.. Patrols to stop  Cat Folk and Sand folk   coming  across of Rats  and  such. woudl be needed as well..If Mok does declare  War.. it would  take , less then a Month, for Ironmou7nd  regulars   to   march to teh river... and invade... so? I  don't know how much in a hurry they would be to do that...

Seated close to the Captains, Justin listened intently to the conversation. He thought it would be foolish for Mok to declare war over its internal shortcommings, specifically the monolopy these merchants have on the Cities trade.
