MERCHANT'S LANDING

She smiled at Orlin "Ginger does help.  For the most part though our spines are made for it.  It is the organs that are most delicate." she nearly blushed "And I thank you for the offer"

Jason makes sure to inspect the area for actual place settings before moving an inch. “I am willing, but want to make sure you aren’t just going to magic it all as soon as I start.” Jason raised an eyebrow at the talented elf.

Mocking a mix of uncertainty and innocence. Goodness Jason. Isn't the banquet enough? Besides I suspect that would be an abuse ot the divine gifts afforded to me by the Sisters.

Jason began setting the table. The various types of plates, cups and utensils was expected, but one fork in particular caused him to pause. He had a set of fine silverware at his estate in Cleavland with this exact engraving.

Luthien was once again fairly quiet, as he did not see fit to do anything but whatever humble work was required of him during this time.

Myranda did a quick head count of the Construction team, she determined that she'd need additional help with the Banquet. She Decided this would be effectively an inaugural meal so it should include the whole settlement. Master Penny when you've finished with that table could you ask the rollers to join me, then ask Captain Shadow to invite the Settlement to join us in the meal.

Luthien halfsmiled at her, "Truly a banquet of heroes."

Or perhaps not. There was a difference between a true Heroes' Feast and just creating food.

If Jason passed her message on to Luthien and Justin, if/when they acquiesced, Myranda asked if they are able could assist her to bring forth Food and Drink, for a banquet, from Eta and Tra.

Jason had no trouble tracking down Luthien. “Hallo! I don’t believe we’ve yet to meet, yet I hear there’s a wager on when we do.  Anyhow, Myranda requests your assistance. Do you know where Justin is?”

Justin was part of a team of four who were responsible for setting and securing tree trunks along the perimeter fence. He didn't mind this as it was a healthy workout and it allowed him to get to know the others.

Jason moseyed on to beckon Justin. “Justin, Myranda requires your assistance, more magic food, if you please.” He watched as they secured the trees. They looked heavy, he was glad they could manage on their own.

MERCHANT'S LANDING

Myrand finished focusing a glow covered the table she stood beside. Bathing it and her with a faint hews first it was Green edged with Silver, followed by Dark Blue edged Yellow then Dark Purple edged with Red. The glow abated leaving in its wake five dishes, of varying type, each sufficient to feed several people. Noticing Luthien approaching Myranda smiled Ah Sir Luthien. I'd be grateful if you can assist me with this task. I've surveyed the folk who'll be setting up here there's about 350. I thought this would be an ideal time to celebrate its founding with a Feast if you and Havslane can help, by petitioning Tra and Eta for their bounty we'll be able to cater for this event.

Orlin replies to Star dancers comments, “Not usually this active a part of a team but I’m more versed at it than other Firbolgs.  You are a powerful part of the unit.  It is important we see to your comfort as your strength might be the lives of our team mates later.  I will have a talk with the old one.  Perhaps I can find a way to sleep in the other form without exhausting myself and you will have a more comfortable way to rest for what may come.”  He spoke pragmatically with no apparent knowledge of her embarrassment.  By what she had seen, his other form was more than comparable to the size of her equine half.

"Well yes, more of that." He pointed, then waited for Justin to take the lead before he began trudging back.

"Of course." Jason bowed slightly to the stalwart Justin and then returned to the men.

"Perhaps there's a mechanic advantage we could apply to save our backs from breaking? Hmmm?" He knew he only had to keep them busy for half an hour before it would be time to eat.

Kree   sent  runners  to the woman and children that were   droppign bark and  stood on the 'road"  and tamping it   down.

other  workers   came   down from the  walls  or the tops of the  buildings..Most  were   frame s with Canvas,  that would   soon  be  replaced  by walls  of  wood or stone, or both.

The Hungry  folk  were eager  at the  sight of the  food stuffs.. it was better  them   oatmeal  or  bean  stew.
