(( Arrows  arrive in Olant..))

Lysander holds his tongue as the overly confidant old man makes his threats.  He simply follows Kree and keeps his head on a swivel.

Looking towards the man that was speaking, Hmmphh.. we see if'n any'one 'rested.

Tyri just skipped past the old man, a soft smile on her lips as she moved up to where Ivy was. "Glad to be back on land?" she teased, wrapping an arm around one of his.

 Elandra smiled and replied," May Peace be with you." Elandra nodded and then followed the others to Olant.

 walking down the dock,  Kree pointed to the catapult station.

 There were some Buildings  for storage and one  Inn called 'Hooks'.The sounds  of voices  and shouts and song could be heard.

 The elf turned up the road that lead to the made gate. Some poeple were walking  down the   road to the wharf. Once the Last group  pass Kree stopped  and waited for the others to gather round.when we get in the  gate, don't trust anyone, unles they ask you, 'Do you have a coin from the Sisters"...then you know they are friendly to us...

Krwyn nods. Easy to remember and he had the gut feeling already not to trust one here on face value. He turns to Elandra: "Can you see if someone is evil at heart or do you have to cast a spell?" He realizes that they themselves are mostly not pure white either, but he is curious.

  Approaching the Gate, three toughs, get up from the crates  they  were  sitting on.Slow down  ye  Elven Buggar... ye can't  get in, till we see the color of  your   coin

 you do not not have to pay  to get i8nto   Olant... you have to    pay  to get out

 Ivy detched himself from Tyri  as he Laughed  , but his  had  slip the peace knot off his  blade.

 ..OH?  Yer a Funny one then?.. Lets  see how well you laugh...  Kree  opened his  purse  and Pulled  a  silver out... he  walked the coin across his  knuckles, the  Man watch the  coin as  did his   friends...

 there?  you wanted to see the color of my coin... the Color  Is...red...

 Wot?   It's... the   coin was grasped  in  the   knuckles  and the   fist  hit the Fellow's  mouth,  His lips  split  and  a tooth or  two broke...The Coin was in his  Mouth  as she  layed there  dazed...

 ..keep the coin, if you get to a healer  fast enough, you'll get new teeth

 with out  further fanfare , Kree   walked through the  Gate, Ivy;s swords arm free as he chuckled

Lysander was watching the other "toughs", hoping they wanted to prove themselves better than their companion, but knowing they would not be.  As the party went by, he took the rear to keep his eyes on them.

 Looking at the duo help the man on the ground, and Lysander lagging behind, Vilmund grunts, huh, jo'n t'e 'rrows Th'y say, fight f'er comm'n cause' Th'y say. Ye d'nt get te do nothin' when he's 'round.   :chuckles: as he walks by the wounded man.

Lysander will follow Elandra and Vilmund towards the temples.  He is interested in the architecture and will take note of it, even talk a bit about it, from the dwarven perspective, but his eyes will be ever watchful for danger.

 Kree    walks up the Main road a bit, stopping outside the Furs Shop listen carefuly...most folk can walk through this  town and only get  harrassed a bit for coin... folks with weapons, Olant scum, that pass  for guards, try to  take thier measure ... They  do not like  Arrows, or   The Timber, but they like our  coin.  Do not back down, show  strength..now.. we  cannot  do a damnable thing with out our Contact's information.. if we do not  get the information, we  will move up the  Furman's   chain to Yad and see what damage we can do the  the Hargen vessels   that are   harbored in the   cleft of the Highpeaks.... I would really  like to  kill slavers here... so...here is  what we will do.

 Lysander,Elandra, and  Vilmun wil go tot he left.. there are odd ball tenmples there, from  folks  who  come up the river,  they have small Shrines to   the realms  Gods too, so it  will look Natural spend some time at the  temples,  walk about keep going  around the  town, until you come to this  street once more, then Come  down, You see the   bright lights  half way Up? That is  ' The Branch of Fire".. it is run by a Female elf from Trok.. she is....sympathetic to the Arrows, that is where we will be staying...if things go badly, you   run to there...

 He Turns to Ivy,..You and Tyri will go to the  right. move  up the streets all the waly to the  other  side of the town, Siofra's Arms...


 really?  you are letting us go there! he grins

 perfect cover..and, who knows, our contact may be  sampling the goods there..

 he points up the  main street again,  meet  us  are  the Branch of Fire...

 Ivy nods  with a grin.

  Krwyn , Riven and Myself  will go up the street, we will check out Cod's  Ale, then move on to The Branch. use your  heads, if you kill anyone, make certain to take thier  coin, its an everyday  thing here... May the sisters  be with you....

 he  waves them off to  do thier  jobs

After Kree gives the operative directions, They all set off  down the road towards the Temples..

 Elandra smiles at Kree and replies," Very well sounds very good Kree sir, I feel bad for anyone who upsets these two." Elandra smiled and added," Kree sir Peace is with you my friend, Peace will be with all of us my friends and fellow arrows."

 Elandra then uses her staff as a walking stick heading for the temples with Vilmond and Lysander. She looks at them and says," Keep your eyes and ears open and watch for thieves, we are headed for the temple district it can get interesting in these temple areas." Elandra smiles and continues walking, she will look around her as she walks noticing what she can and will also keep her eyes open for anything out of the normal.

Krwyn falls in step with Kree and Riven, fairly sure they will be stong enough to stand most opponents, but with a bit doubt about splitting up: "Isn't it too dangerous to split up like this in this town? We can't help each other when it becomes ugly, and I have the feeling it can get ugly fast in this shithole?"

..The fellow  chewing  on the silver piece  will make sure  word  travels fast... those  who think we are easy marks, will have second thoughts..if  we have any friends, they
 will want to know  who is causing problems, either way. the rats  will come out of the houses, and  we can eliminate them...

Aye, ch'win' S'lver be is only probl'm fer a bit. If'n he feels randy he'll be lookin' fer r'venge, won't be pr'tty if'm he does   They walk through the street looking around at the street vendors. He checks the small money bag hanging from his belt, moving to the front of his belt directly in the front of his kilt, more visible yes, but more of a risk for anyone that would try to steal it.

Tyri looked at Ivy, a brow raised as she noted how…happy he seemed to be with where they were going. “What is Siofra’s Arms?” she asked curiously.

   Kree and those  with Him  walk up the Main street.. the street is mostly mud, with   stones  and  wood bark dumped in, from  'pavers'  who get paid to Gather such items.Som of the  inns   have had thier own  stones  palced into the street  and  wooden porches  to cut  down on mug being brought, smarter folks use the   duckboard  sidewalks and stay out of the streets that  have wagons  , horses  and donkey carts  movign about.

  As they near the first  bar, on the  right  hand side of the   sidewalks, the music is playign and Bawdy  songs are beign  sung.. a few people  look up from the street  as the three     approach people  who are  smoking pipes or having a  drink outside  the   Inn in rockers  and  such.

 Lysander and his  group  are  nearing  the 'bend; where the  road  turns  back towards the Mountains they see some Odd shaped  temples, advertising odd gods.. but   signs  show there are  chapels (of sorts) for various gods of the realms

 The group can see  holy folks in differant robes  talking,  and more or less standing guards at this  time of night.

 Ivy  walks  with Tyri, most  folks look at them ..some stare  ahrd, orthers just go about thier business...

 Siofra  Arms  is a 'special inn'... they  have very nice  rooms, but  the polace is  used mostly...by the hour... There are ladies and men there who serve the public  as they  take coin to do? But there is also information to be had.... and.. we  are the people who are, normally, welcome  to have it given to.

"A house of ill repute? Sounds...delicious..." Tyri chuckled with a grin, that excitement clear in those icy blue eyes. "I wondered why you seemed so excited to be sent there...then again, I shouldn't be surprised," she laughed, clearly in a joivial mood.

She remained stoic as she walked, staying at Kree's lefthand side but back a few steps. Ever vigilant, she constantly scanned the area, fingers lightly touching the hilt to a small dagger that was hidden within the bracer of her left arm. She eyed those that sat outside the inn, gauging reactions to their approach.

 Elandra will have her temple smile on and keep a close eye out. She will also offer Peace to everyone that goes near her. Kree chose well to send her to the temple districts, most would think she hired the two men to protect her on her travels.

 Elandra then will follow the signs towards the Temple of Amot. She had too at least say hi since she was in the area.

Lysander had a curiosity about the temples.  He was happy to follow Elandra, hoping she would stop at more than one temple, but wanting to learn as much as possible of the people and their beliefs.  They were both the same, yet very different than his own area.  He was jovial on the journey, curiosity begging questions, but eyes always alert.

Krwyn follows Kree and Riven, his hands on both hilts. He looks around, suspicious for every wrong move, but also keen on seeing a completely new town.

 at the temples:....

  As the three near the   Temples, they see , inside the   fence, the Temple grounds  are rather nice, thick grass  stems the mud... thick planks  hed  towards the larger  temple that  show a North Star at the top of thier Building

 A smaller  Temple   was  off   on another sidewalk.. people  watched the three enter the grounds.

 Ivy  and   Tyri kep walkign up the  street towards the  mountains, there  was a  darkness towards the Mountains , as the sisters  were running to the west.

  a few people watched the   pair  walk, Ivy chose to walk up the road, it was muddy, but not like the made street...when we  reach Siofra's Arms. look for some one who wishes to talk with you, make sure your arrow  can be seen.

    Kree looks at the two with him,this is  a rough place, we will have a  drink, see if  anyone  contacts us.. then  we will go up the street the  the branch of   fire and wait  for the others.

Despite his normal scowl, Lysander attempts to seem happy while entering the temple district.  Being near Elandra made that somewhat easier.  Though he was wary for danger, he tried to appear as if it was just fascination that had him looking at everyone and everything.

"Aye, I will accompany you.  I think the lady can handle herself, should she choose otherwise."

"Oh love...my arrow is always seen," she snickered, giving her hips a little wiggle to make the jeweled arrow dance along the skin of her belly. "Is this your way of telling me that you will be...too busy for information?" she asked with a smirk.

 Elandra smiles at Vilmund and Lysander," I will just check in at the Temple of Amot and i will meet you at the other temples, behave you are in the Temple district." Elandra smiles and heads for the Temple of Amot.

Re thinking it, he says, Hmm. Mayhap.... we stik t'gether? let you an' me stay wit' th' g'rl... He looks at Elandra, Lead on Lass.

  The smile as she heads on, with the two men following, one shorter than the other by a foot, but built solidly as a brick mountain.

   The three look around, there is the  one Big temple, and  one smaller one ..this being a small town, 'district' is  a very big stretch.

 Kree ,Riven and Krwyn enter the   Inn..  smoke is thick, which doesn't please kree at all. Some of the people see the Elves  and frown,  moving    away from them, as Kree stops at the   Conter  and   orders a Bottle of Elven Gold.

 Elven Gold?.. what kinda place  ya  think this is!

 Kree  stares  at the  guy, not saying a word   as a few of the people  move away.

 I...I have some Wine from the highpeaks... Bushberry?

 Kree nods, and the fellow   gets the bottle  and three glasses.

humans, orcs  and a few goblins are in the Inn as they watch the three new comers.

  For Ivy and Tyri, two humans step out onto the street..you there?... whatcha doin' in our  town..

  From that most part?..trying not  to throw up from the smell...

 you sayin' our  town  stinks!

 did i mention the town?  Ivy Smiles.

 The  two men  titled thier heads.. Ivy looked  at  Tyri and sorta  shook his ehad, then back to the men.

 The two men pull axehandles  from behind thier  backs, Ivy  draws his Blade

Some of the patronage were questionable to Riven but she remained quiet as the man brought them a bottle of wine and some glasses. "Anything we should be keeping an eye out for aside from potential attackers?" she asked, ordering a shot of something harder before lowering her mask down to rest below her chin.

  Kree   shakes his head  as he   hands Krwyn a glass of the  wine, and  set the bottle dowmn with  three silvers for the keeper.

  with  the Sister's  luck, our  contacts  will find us.. either  approach us here,  or come see  us at  the Branch of Fire , once the see  us  walking about...but? attackers  are good to watch for as well... he smiled a bit , and took a sip of the wine.

 there were a  few folks still eyeing them, others  went  back to thier  dicing or cards, or talk. in the  far  corner a tall human watched hem , a mug of ale in one hand, and  a chicken leg in the other.

Entering the Temple of   The North Star.  A rather  Tall , blonde  woman greets them, her robes  are made of  white fox  pelts, and her bare  arms are well muscled...Greetings  to you. This is the Temple of  The North Star.. which god, or gods   do you wish to speak with?

 Ivy  looks to Tyri  as he steps up one step,..you two are out of  your   depth here... Axe handles   make  for  weapons for one with a Blade...

  his smile  truned to  a  dark sneer... some folks on the  duck-board sidewalks  , stopped to watch

 Elandra smiled at the blonde woman and replied,Hello I am here to pray to my Goddess Amot, may Peace be with you always. Elandra will smile and also take in who is here and any conversations going on.

As Elandra speaks to the woman, Vilmund will casually but purposefully, scan the area around their small group. Watching for any sideways glances or direct stares of discontent, or anything that would make him think something was about to be said, or actions taken. As he looks around he will look for a place to pay respect to Trall.

Lysander held his smile in place and just nodded.  He wasn't sure the gods of the mountain dwarves would be honored here.

  The Blonde  woman  gave  Elandra a tolerant smile.  .... There are none for her in Olant...many of the realms's gods are not represented here...As this is  a town for those who travel, and make thier lives  by sword  and  shield .. the famers and  such   just grow to sell to the town, and keep themselevs... we do have a    a table set  by the south wall. Away from the Northern gods, that have a  few  statues to the   Realms gods.. There is a  priest of  Rta out in the   grounds  tending our garden, and  a priest of  The All power  tending the sheep ... there is a Building down the  walk away, that are for 'darker gods"

   As they stood  by the counter, a woman approached  Krwynn,..good eve to you fair traveler?.. I am from Engar, i travel the realms , lookign for  differant  coins. Do you  have a  coin from the Sisters? I will trade even, plus one?

 Kree truned away  from the pair , as if   wantign to talk with Riven.

Riven had downed her shot when it was given but didn’t make a move to pull her mask back up. Seeing Kree now turning to her, she raised a brow. “Something on your mind, Captain?” Her crystalline blue eyes studied his face, trying to get a read on potential thoughts.

Tyri had unshouldered her bow and nocked an arrow, a playful smile on her lips but a more deadly look in her icy blue eyes. “Hmm, I’m sure you have,” she said with a chuckle as she eyed the human speaking.

Krwyn looks at the woman asking him for a coin of the Sisters: "I'll see what I can find for you; it seems a good deal for me." He opens his purse and finds one of the wanted coins to hand it to the woman. "What are you planning to do with these coins that are so special to you, buying some new arrows for your bow to make sure they hit more often?"

  The  woman looks excited to  find a bearer of  a coin,  They are hard to come By, Ironmound used to mint them when it had nothing  better the  a woodened palisade and barely spanned the  river... They stopped making them when the city grew, opting to have the  City's place on one  side and  a ship on the other.,,, The Black Timber and  trace wood  , still  strike coins with   The Sisters... you can tell an Elven struck coin, , they have  both sisters standing straight up, where as   Ironmound  had them  upside down compared to thier facings... very interesting things,,, come,   I have a  room at  the Branch of Fire. I can show you all the odd  coins i have collected..

  Kree    just gives a nod to Krwynn, with out ever  turning to look, meanwhile he talks to Riven. His glass comes  slowy to his lips to cover his mouth as he says,  we will let them leave, and  follow a few steps after... we have  found our guide, but there are too many folk watching, this is not  a town, where people  watch  you out of interest

   As they look around, they see a small table, perhaps  3 foot long, 2  foot  wide, it  has  a leather table cloth  .

 a least a dozen  statutes. Mostly carved from wood, stand  with  small'cup sized' bowls  in front of them. a few coppers   are in a few bowls, most , have nothing.

 The Sisters  stand next to each other,  Trall , is indeed there.. in the center is  The Alpower, there are  a few goblin and orc gods here as well as strange gods from the south...

 A goddess with a  serpent's tail, holing   a trident, , a fellow  holding a mighty Hammer and wearing a leather  apron and a small 'child-like' female  with a bow  and    butterfly-like  wings

 Amot is  at the very left end of the  table.

 In contrast, Lrger then life  statutes of  stone  or metal  line  the  front of the church where the main alter is.. Gods  with  lighting in thier  hands.. Hammers, bows  and one who is  scanning the  horizon with a  spyglass.

  Ivy shifts his feet a bit  as he  turns his body  to face the   two with Tyri  having her bow ready.

 Mark these words, for it will be the last you hear them, one way or the other.... drops your weapons and go have a drink somewhere. You can tell bold  tales of how you battered two elves  and your  scum friends  will buy you more.... Or?.. you can shut the 9 hells up and attack, so we can kill you and move on with our night ..what coin you have  will pay for a drink or two, i guess?.. so, what will it  Be..

 ..I think we   kill you now, have  fun with the female, before  we kill her too,,,

 ..So be it....

 IVY explodes into movement, he  feints attackign the closer one, spinning his  boady around to attack the  second one, leaving the  closer one  to Tyri.

 The SCloser one  turned  with his  Axe, only to see Ivy spin away...

"It's nice to meet someone with so much knowledge of coins. Of course I knew the Timber coins with the Sisters, but the old Ironmound ones and the differences between is new to me. I would be very interested to see more of this and learn more about your coins." Krwyn empties his goblet of fine wine and rises to follow the numismatic woman.

 Elandra smiled at the Blonde woman and replied," Thank you very much I will visit the table, May Peace be with you." Elandra then looked around found the table, she put 2 copper into each bowl for the Sisters, she put a silver in the Bowl for Amot as she did she knelt before the statue on the table and said a prayer to her beloved Goddess Amot.

Lysander walked up to the table and saw the different displays, but nothing of his God.  He didn't begrudge others their beliefs, but he didn't share them.  Still, to take the coins might be problematic, as people were around and there was a superstition that even the crusty dwarf subscribed to.  He stopped for only a moment, for appearance sake, then moved on, following Elandra, his eyes scanning the darker recesses.

Stopping near the table dedicated to Trall, he laid his mace on the table, removed his hand from the lanyard, dug into his coin bag and grabbed three coins inside and tossed them into the bowl. tieing the bag closed again and replacing the lanyard and grabbing the mace, he said to the image, Trall, I give to you the metals of the land, and ask for help in the battles to come so that I feed the ground with the life's blood of those you wait for.
  Before turning away and moving on, he lightly touches the mace to the image, and bows his head for the flash of a second. Smiling at the young lady in the area, he moves on..

“Sounds like a plan,” she muttered in Elvish, pulling her mask back up over her face, once again hiding the scars that adorn her skin.

Tyri let her arrow fly towards the man, a frown on her face. “Clearly you are not fit to live if you would violate my code in such a manner...” she spat in elvish.

   Tyri's  arrow  bites  deep into thje    left side of the  closer  tough. he  fall into the   Mud His  eyes  waide  as he looked  back at Tyri..

      Ivy's spin got him away from the  first  fellow, but he  had to use   his balce to Block  at strong swing  from the other.. The   force of the Blow cause  Ivy's  elbows to bet , but  a sharp kick the  the fellow's  knee, caused him to ease  up . . Ivy looked  at the fellow  as he said,In Ironmound, you would be riding the Orc cart tonight.... i guess here, they just feed theserpents..

  In the temple, it seems no one wishes to bother you, outside of tellign you which god  would be better  for you.

 Then you are left alone as some travelers  come into the  garden and   the  Priest  hustle to try to gain followers, coin, or both.

  Krwyn  and the woman leave,  Kree watches the water  clock as he pours  one more elven wine for him and  fills   Riven's  glass.

 2 minutes later He downs the    drink, places two silvers on the counter  , with a jerk of his head towards the  door. Some of the people sneering at the elves.

 They see Krywn and the woman about to enter the Branch of Fire.. they also see two poeple  , slolwy, crossign the street behind them

Lysander whispers, _{"Was there something we needed to do, other than seek the blessings of our gods?"}

 Elandra smiles at everyone and looks around and listens to what she can hear. When Lysander speaks she smiles and quietly responds," No we are just looking around, now lets head back to the street and the place we are suppose to meet everyone, just keep your eyes and ears open."

 Elandra then says to the Priests," Thank you, may Peace be with all of you." Elandra will then head out of the temple and continue their walk of the city.

Lysander smiles at the priests and follows Elandra. He prefers the outdoors anyway.

Falling into step behind the two, he joins them on the walk , ever looking out into the crowd.

 leaving the  Temple  area , the  three Arrows   walked  towards  the  west Seeing the Highpeaks  rising into the   night, already, clouds  formed up.

 Passing Karth;s Goods, it  seemed every settlement  had one, The three Could see a large  wooden Builing that was the Governor of Olant's   Home. as they neared the Palisades  A Smitty and Stable. acorss the  street was a rowdy  Inn called 'Fang and Tooth"

 Noticing the Inn, he turns to his compatriots, D' yee fancy a pint an' bite a'fore we press on?

 Elandra smiles at Vilmund and replies back," Well Vilmund we are heading to  The Branch of Fire that is where we are staying we can drink there, going to other places as Arrows might not be a good idea. Come lets head on towards  The Branch of Fire and meet the others." Elandra keeps walking using her staff like a walking stick, she will also watch around them and keep her eyes and ears pealed for anything that could cause them a problem.

Aye, lass, and a nice drink about now wouldn't have gone underappreciated, but, as you say, we might want to move on for now.

Achh.... Aye.. I guess yer right, jest a bit o' t'irst be toucnin' mee t'ung. But yer right. He falls into to the pace of the two he is with, taking up the rear of there little troop.

Tyri nocked another arrow and took aim at the one that Ivy fought, letting her arrow fly.

Riven downed her own wine, setting the glass gingerly down upon the counter. Seeing the motion from Kree, she got up and followed after. She had scanned the area and when she noted the two people crossing the street behind Krywn, her fingers lightly caressed the hilt to the hidden dagger in her bracer.

    Those from the Temple area, had   passed the other  Building as they crossed the  western  part of the   city, seeing the  Gate that lead to the Furman's Chain.as the  rounded that   corner to head back towards the  river to the EAst.. they Saw  'Cold   Blade' another   Inn with song , shouting and  singing...The Iron Mace was below   in a few yards on  the same side of the street... it was easy to see by a Giant's  Mace that was hanging from  the  sign  arm.

Across the street was  , yet another  Inn  called 'Mugs Up"..it  hard a rm  painted   as though it was bloody , holding up a tankard of  frothy ale.

 The  fellow Ivy  had  injured with his  kick  was about to try and  charge  anyway, when a Shaft sprouted  from the man's chest..... Ivy  didn't take time  to  speak,,  he  spun around  , his  Blade  cutting the injured leg from the Man as he fell screaming in the streets..... he  tried tp  scream more, but the arrow  tore through his lung.

 people  watched  from the  sidewalks... The elf   walked up to first  fellow   who was shakign as his  blood  flowed from Tyri's  arrow...

  Ivy  grabbed the  arrow  and  twisted a bit, the  Man screamed  to  join those of the , now , one legged man....now?  You have a  choice ... i can  kill you really slow.... or you can tell me  why you thought it was a good thing  to  attack to  strangers to your  town?

 ..Bugger  yerself  Elf... we wanted  coin an'...

 Ivy   smiled  and Nodded, . he drew his  dagger  and  began to  cut a  round  circle of  flesh around the  Man who screamed even louder..... flicking the  Flesh off the arrow  head  . Ivy handed it back to Tyri.....saves on Damage to the arrow head... try it out on the other guy....

  Blow gushed  from the   fellow  now  as  he  screamed more, and cursed  Ivy..

  Ivy stood   after   wiping  his blade on the dying man's  leg... He looked over the streets...anyone  esle care to  interupt our visit to your fine  Village?.... Do so now, I I may not  be in as good mood later...

 The   man with the arrow    in his chest and one leg hacked off, stared at Tyri as she approached.

   Krwyn   settles  down at  a table near the   the rear fireplace,, most folks  sit near the   front  fireplace where a bard holds court singing and  telling  jokes, most aimed  at  Ironmound.

 The  Woman smiles,we  will take a bit of time to  have a drink here, yes, then  we can go to my room and i will show you my coins..they are in a warded container

 Two men  came in shortly after, they went to the bar and ordered some drinks  as  they look over the people in the bar.

 .........

 Kree and   Riven  are   walkign up the stairs to enter the building.

The temple group will continue on their way, intent on their rendezvous point.

Krwyn sits down with the woman. He orders two drinks when the waitress comes to their table: "I'm very interested in your coins. I hope they give me new insights in our research. Perhaps they could point me in the right direction."
He smiles at her when asking under his breath and hiding his mouth in his goblet: "The two men who entered almost immediate behind us. Do you know them? Are they perhaps part of the problem or part of the solution?"

 Elandra will smile at her two companions, and keep walking around the city, heading towards the road they came in on and then head to their destination. She could tell they wanted to stop for drinks but they could all drink when they get to a place she knew they would be safer.

When ever he sees Elandra look back , either to ensure they were following, or just to check the group's movements, he smiles at her and will give a wink now and then, not in flirtatious way, but just to lat her know that he is aware of the reason they are moving along.

Tyri approached the man, an almost thoughtful look on her face. "Oh don't worry...maybe the Sisters will shine down upon you and you will just...pass out from the pain," she said with a smile. Normally, she wasn't so...ruthless but these men had crossed a line that she would not tolerate being crossed. She pulled out one of her long slender daggers. "Now...take a deep breath...this will hurt..." With that, she began to carve around the arrowhead though she made it painfully slow. When it was finally complete, she stood up and flicked the lump of flesh from the arrowhead.

 Ivy  takes the Purse from  then fellow  he  finished,  and then the fellow   Tyri finished, he  should the purses around  and took  4 silvers, givign two to Tyri, and  keeping two..

 He looked at the poeple who watched then  cut  out the arrows, and leave the men to die..one of them had already stopped   begging for help. Pointing to the left side of the Street, he tossed one purse.. then to the other side, the other Purse.

 There is not much..but  split it among yourslves.. and if there is  any fighting, I will cut  down those who are causing the  fuss..

 the   people who  caught the   purses  handed out  a coin or two to the people  with them, as Ivy and  Tyri continued thier  walk up the street.

 ..............

 Kree  and  Riven entered the  Burning Branch, Normally, kree would stop to let folks wonder who just entered, using  a Hand signal, he  motioned for Riven to stand on one side  of themen who entered before them... Kree took the other side.

 The woman said to Krwyn,.. those  friends of yours... do they know those  men..

 The temple folks   grew near the Bruning brach.. they saw  some one  leave  and    run  down the  street... other then that the  semi-darkness of  lighted  windows  and  mage-Globes  only helped to cast more  shadows.

 Elandra kept a decent pace but she wasnt rushing , she was walking, watching, listening as she and her two arrow friends walked the street headed for the Burning Branch Inn and meet the others.

After even such a short time, Lysander has learned to trust the judgement of the arrows.  Walking with Elandra is among the nicer things he has gotten to do.

Tyri giggled and, after putting the silver and her arrows away, placed her hand in the crook of Ivy's elbow as they walked, seemingly her usual cheerful self and acting as though nothing had occured. "Well at least it seems like they are behaving."

 Ivy and Tyri  reach the  'Arms'  with no further  conflict, though there are folks watching them, and a couple who are trailing on either side of the street. Those folks are  either, not good  at following, or they flat out  do not care.

  When they reached the     door  of  'The Arms', a burly Half orc   stood there...you got  girl wit you..why you want in here?

 Ivy tilted his head as he said,..how  do you know, if she  did not come here  for  a man?....

 The Half Orcs' eyebrows  went  up and  down  as  his  forehead furrowed...girls do not  do that?

 ,,sure they do?  tell you what..i bet a silver..  we will go in and  you will ask one of the workers  if a  girl ever came in looking for  a guy?

 The Halforc nodded...Ok..we do that..you see , i am right...  he  enters   and the two  follow  him in, the  door  closes, leaving those who followed, locked out.

 Inside   the building wasn't  lavish, but it was fancy, dry and warm..the smell of  food, flesh and  drinks were in the  air...a nude  woman played the harp, while a bard, who had  his shirt off sang along... odd bits of smoke here   and there cast a   could near the  MAge-globes in the ceiling

  The other    Three  arrows  , entered  from comign down the street to the east... People turned to watch them when they entered,

 Kree and Riven  flanking  two  rough looking men at the bar.

 Krwyn  sitting with a rather  good lookign human woman who was going on about coins.

 the music  didn't  stop, some conversations  did, but they went back to normal, seeing  a darf among them, thinking they came from the  HighPeaks

Scanning the room, Lysander will find an empty table with a view of the bar.  Linking arms with Elantra, as if there was something, but that was a ruse, he moves to a seat.  Appearances are important, and he wants to seem unobtrusive and harmless.

Walking in with his small group, he stops to let his eyes adjust, and then follows the others to the seats. he takes it all in and figures any doors and areas where someone might go un noticed, if they were to choose to do so.

 Elandra walks into the Inn, she smiles when Lysander takes her arm. Elandra does say," Good day everyone May Peace be with all of you." Elandra then took a seat with Lysander and Vilmund. She will find Kree lock eyes, smile and nod at him.

"We are all in our places, with bright shiny faces."

Tyri giggled and glanced to Ivy. “Mayhaps two,” she said in elvish, a coy grin on her lips as they headed inside. Her gaze traveled along the room, taking in the nude woman who played and the male who sang beside her, appraising his looks.

at the arms  The Half Orc  steps up to an Older Human Lookign  woman..Mistress?... this elf, he say women come her to look for  men..I say no...

 The woman Looks at   Ivy and  smiles,..he  is right?..many times,  wives come here  looking for thier husbands...

 the HAlf orc Looks  at Ivy  he  digs into his purse  for a coin,..Keep it  friend...it was  a trick.. I knew the answer, you did not.

 The Half Orc  grins...//elves  are sneaky people... that's  why no one like you.. he gives  Ivy a pat on the shoulder, returning to his door watching.

   two men watch Tyri with inetrest, knowing she wasn't on the floor  when they came in.

The Bard smiles  at her  as he sings  a  song  about a heroic  whore who  gave  her Village time  to set up thier  defesne, buy  letting  the  invading army have thier way with her.

  the two People   watched  Krwyn, and the coin lady,   it took a bit   for one of them to look at Kree, who just gave them a  thin lipped  smile  as he sipped  from a glass of wine.

 they appeared  not to take much notice of Riven.

 The other  three  were approached by a server   who asked  what they wanted to drink.

Meanwhile a   slender  fellow   in robes  entered the Inn, his eyes  shifting   around as he walked to the  bar.

Dwarven ale, please, and M'lady? He asks Elandra.

 Elandra smiles and replies," I will take a sweet wine please." She smiles at Lysander and then watched every in the tavern keeping her eyes on the two who just looked at Kree, and the slender robed man who walks in.

Riven only made the briefest of eye contact with Kree as she turned to face the bar, motioning for a glass of wine. Thought it seemed like she wasn't paying any attention, nothing could be further from the truth. She was paying attention to the men and Krwyn with the woman.

Whilst Lysander seems jovial with his Date and his Friend, even the barmaid was scrutinized by his ever-moving eyes.  Every dark corner, every lit up hall, there was nowhere he didn't take stock of.

"Yes, some dwarven ale and a sweet wine for the lady, and none of that watered down stuff.  She deserves the finest."

Aye, an a' flagon o' clean wat'r as well. I 'spose 'long wit' a mug o' the same as he's havin' fer me. He says as he settles in facing Lysander so they each have a view behind the other.

  The waitress  nodded   and   hustled to the  bar    to get the  drinks.

   The Woman notcied the people   comign in and said , shyly,..let us go to my  room... it...will be  quieter there...

 she stood up and looked to see if  Krwyn  would  follow  her.

 The two men at the counter shifted  a bit, they looked  at  three other  men who trailed in , shortly after   the temple group.

  The guy closest to Kree seemed to ignore the elf, even  as  Kree   tapped his   glass  for a refill. he cast the quickest of Glances to  Riven.

   two more burley men entered 'The Branch'.. they  looked  around , the  fellow  next to Rien  shifted his eyes  to  the Temple  group, they moved  to sit near them.

   Ivy  moved through the floor  full of flesh,  women  placing hands on his shoulders,  a pair of men did then  same thing  and recived  a   punch in the  chest will a very stern shake of  Ivy's ponytailed head.

   a Man  steeped up to  Tyri,..if you have a  coin of the sisters...you might be able to buy a good time.

Lysander felt eyes upon him, but he kept up appearances.  A smile across his lips, he glances towards Elandra, "How can you tell when a Bard is at your door?"

On the question from the woman, Krwyn stands to follow her, his hands on the hilts of his blades: "You´re probably right; I expect a mess in this room once we're gone. I can feel the tension around my friends. I hope we have some more friends here, if the need arises, because if not, my arms could be needed here more than to toss a coin with you. Let's make our time worthwhile as lon as it lasts"

 Elandra nodded to the waitress as she left to get their drinks. Elandra watched the three men enter and watched the man next to Riven who got up and sat nearer to them. She would try and lock eyes with Kree to see if their was any information or signals he would give to her and her group.

"The Bard can't find his key, and he doesn't know when to come in."

Lysander let's out a laugh.  He watches the ones watching Krwyn.

 Elandra smiled and giggled at Lysander and made it look like she was having fun but she was watching everyone carefully, she said a silent prayer to Amot for Peace. She replied," Very good one Lysander." She smiled but kept her eyes on the others especially the one that moved closer to them.

Looking at Lysander blankly, he shakes his head at the joke he doesn't understand. huh.... okay th'n, funny. he says as he slighly motiones with his eyes and a very slight nod toward the men that are gathering and says, not too relax'd thos' fellows. Sev'ral gathrin' aft'r we come in.

Lysander puts his hands down to his side, hidden by the table.  He takes a hand axe in each hand, but leaves them hidden for now.

  Krwyn and the women , went up the stairs, The fellow next to   Kree down his   drink, hit his friend   on the arm and started to move.

 ..If i were you, I would stay and have  another   drink. If you are  real smart, you will leave the Inn and not  come back.

 The Man's  eyes  widened   in rage,..listen, long ear... the only reason you  are not  dead  yet, is this  slum here need the coin...

  Kree gave  a little smiles and  sipped from his  wine, really?  and i thought it was because of  my bubbling personality  and keen wit

  he  grabbed   kree's right  arm, the elf looked at the   hand, then at the Man,..the man saw the Crimson Arrow on his   chest.... on a bad  day, i would take that  hand,  and shove the finger's  down your  throat..but i am in a relatively good  mood., so..if you leave  now?.. you might live to see the sunrise.

 The  Man moved his hand away, all thoughts of  The other elf and lady vanished from his mind  and the Mind of his   cohorts, as  , around the In, people  stood up.

 ..This is  my Town, elf... if you leave now, we might leave   something of your  friend and the whore he is with, for you to  burn in thr woods, or how ever you get rid of your bodies..

 ..Sorry?.. Cannot leave yet, I still have half a   bottle  of  wine to finish

 The man  grabbed the Bottle  and drank down to only a tiny nit left...There... now  you have less to finish...

 I cannot  drink that?.. i don't know who your lips have been on, and for that Matter..what part.....

 the rest of the  cohort started to close in  in a semicricles, a few  regular  townsfolk ran out the  doors.

She gave the man an appreciative look, not hiding it or the approving smirk as she reached out and gently running a finger along his shoulder before following the line of his collarbone. “For you...of course I do,” she winked, reaching up and brushing back a few of her honey blond strands from her face.

"Lysander lifts his hands above the table, and calls out, you might want to count how many of you will die in the first few seconds before you decided to do something stupid, although, it has been a while since I got to rid the world of stupid people, and you m'lady?"

Riven slipped the dagger from it’s hiding spot and in one swift movement, jammed it to the hilt into the second man that originally entered with the one speaking to Kree’s neck. “I will not bore you with words, human,” she spat as she pulled the dagger out, letting his body fall to the floor.

Standing and stepping away from the table, Ock, All mee want'd was a drink, and a sit do'n, ar' ye so eger t' join the Cole'd uns t'night? He says as he truns ato take in the room and the group of people moving toward the action.

 Elandra stood up and she began to channel her divine magic, she says," Why do people want to disturb the Peace, may Peace be with all of you. If you continue you will all Rest in Peace, please reconsider your choices before you break the Peace." Elandra had her guiding bolt ready and was ready to attack, she also had her ring she could use. Elandra watches everyone and waits to see what happens next.

  The  Man on the other  sid eof the fellow talking   Gave a Surprised scream,  His  knees  Buckled   and the body   flee as he  winced  and reached out to his comrade..

 That was  enough  to send the others  who who had looked  at the other  three  Arrows, towards  Riven and Kree

 The  Talker   Snarled  as he  went  to Club  Kree  when  the elf's  hand   swished   past the  man's nexk... the throwing   dagger, in his hand slicing the   throat into anothe rMouth.. ..the man dropped his  club  and  grabbed  his throat   as he  fell to his knees.. Kree merely watched him  fall with a grin.

  altogether  4 other   rushed the   two   Arrows at the   Bar, ignoring the ones behind them for   the moment,, Two ran towards  Kree One  Missed  as  the elf   came  to his sense  in time to side  Step, But  he  recived    a solid  crack on the  Back sending him  down to the floor, His Pack talkign some of the hit.

   The  othe r two  rushed  Riven, swinging thier  Clubs...

 the other  three  arrows   were  Behind  the   4 now... could act as they saw  fit.

 Elandra saw everything go down and fired her Guiding Bolt at the closest attacker to Riven. She would launch the guiding bolt and then have her ring or another bolt ready. She also was ready with healing spells as well, they might take some injuries in this one. Elandra waited to see how well her spell worked and watched the battle unfold.

Lysander threw both hand axes, one to the left most target, one to the right.  Grabbing his battle axe, he left the table to get some room to swing.

Vilmund charged the nearest that moved away from him, with his back to him, Vlimund woudl lower his shoulder into the middle of the man's back. forcing him into the bar.

 The fellow  smiled  and waved Tyri  to the back where crapes  covered one of the stairways..

 ..Come  , Let us  talk..

 Ivy Mingle  witht he ladies , his smile  , easy goign,  but the turns    of his body as he went through the    crowd, use sues  to allow him see see the folks who had  gathered for this night's  entertainment.

With a not so surprising grace, Riven spun back, arm extended with the dagger held in a tight fist, blade out. The strike was wide though since she didn't have a true gauge of how close the enemy was. She quickly brought her hands back, clutching the dagger and readying herself for a defense.

Tyri gave the man a sweet smile as she followed along, a bounce in her step. She glanced back to where Ivy was with a smirk before proceeding with the man.

  The  Fellow  attacking Riven, jerks   as the glowing bolt slams into his back, Leaving an opening  for  Riven to  drive her Blade into his belly causing him  to widen his eyes ...lookign at her   as he dropped to his knees.

 Lysander's  axes fly, the  first one misses the left most fellow  by Kree, the   second  one hits the 'inside ' man    who was about  to hit  Kree

 By now the  Kree  had His   sword  drawn in his right hand, the left hand  , still covered   with Blood  as he   held the  throwing   dagger  in the knuckles

 Vilmun  smashes  the   last man on Riven's  side  into the bar    , that  man drops his weapon  and  groans  with   somethign broken...

 The Inn has, all but emptied , Kree   winces  at the blow he took, and  is more then a little angry,,perhaps at himself.

 Lysander clsoes  in on  the  inside  fellow.. there  are  only two of  the  attackers left standing.

 Elandra sees the two on Riven go down, one of the ones going after Kree gets hit. She hopes the others can help Kree as she sees Kree is wounded, she makes sure she is within 60' of Kree and casts Healing word to try and heal his wounds. She will then check the others and get more spells ready.

Lysander moves forward to put his axe in the back of anyone still moving.

Vilmund will pickup the dropped weapon from his smashed opponent, and give a hearty shout as he throws it at one of the two still standing, if for nothing else but to distract him, after the throw Vilmund takes off at a charge towards him to finish him when and if he regains his composure. Attempting a shoulder smash into the man's midriff.

 The closest Guy to Kree, feels the bite   of Lysander's  axe, as the  one who was on the other  side   is brought  down to the  the  wooden floor.

 Kree is  still very angry, again, at whom? it is uncertain.  Walking over to the  one brought  down by Vilmund,, he crouched    as he looks at the   man, the  bloody throwing dagger  still in his hand,

 ..I should make you dead..right now...but instead, you are going to go and  tell those  who own you, that  you best not   fool around  with me and mine.... You will not  get  to live  , next time.

 he picks up the  Axehandles,..quite the tool?.. you can beat folks down, haul them off  and slap them inchains, off course you do not use thes eon the Ladies..right? wouldn't want to mar the  goods... Go... before  i decide i am being too soft...

 Kree gathers the Axe Handles , walks to the fire  place and throws them in. search the bodies take anything of value, throw the  Bodies into the middle of the  street... Put  al the coin her  on the counter, and  we  will split the take  with  the  Owner of the Inn., Kree  cuts the   purse  off   the fellow ,whose  throat he slit, then waved for the others to take the body away, as he set the purse on the counter.

 Tyri is taken to a room full of pillows  thick with incense  and  flickering candles..

 the elf that is with you?. He is one of the   killers from  the  BLack  Timber,  is he with you?

 he eyes her as he asks the question, as if gauging her answer.

Lysander gets to work checking pockets and moving bodies.  "Why do they insist on throwing their lives away?", he asks the air.

   A snort came  from the Elf, he wiggled his fingers  and pointed to his glass for the Tneder to refill.

  ..the  realms are  dark, my friend. And  dark  folk  prey on people who are just trying to make life better. Those people who  work the field, the forges, build   and fight  for thier  homes?.. they are better folk then us... because they do  EVERYTHING... for the betterment of the realms and thier  famlies...

 Kicking  the  the body of the throat cut  fellow,..These folk, and those they work for,  are at the other end.. they  cause  pain, sorrow and terror , and...all to make some folk richer  , while  good  folk struggle, and die...

 The tender  fills  his   glass  and  asks,..are you so differant?

 We are, and we are not.  My comrades?  they all have thier own reasons  for  following me,  but  my  course  is  blunt...as it is sharp. To Kill slavers  and those  who work for them, to Kill those   who aid  Hargen and the quest to pour over the mountains to try and Conquer  the Realms of Ironmound..and eliminate   scum like  the red Elves  and  Red Isle  Halflings..

 there is a  shrug as he  takes a deep drink of his wine,..Killing Bandits and Pirates  are just for sport.

 to Lysander he adds,.. you also must take into  account , that these folk are idiots.. they believe  they are  superior  to other races, to the point it causes  their death.. he kicks the head of the dead man again,..of course? when they die, that aid the realms.

 two tired looking   women came out  with hot water in buckets and   mops.

 Kree waves the   off..Tender... give these two  somethign to eat and drink, ad it to what we owe you.... I will  clean this  mess....

 the two  woman sat..a bit nervous as  kree took one of the mop buckets and began to    mope up where the fellow he  kill laid,Arrows?... please..get these bodies out of here,  they are bleeding way too much...

 %The women look at the   elf  moping , The Tender  shrugged  and brought out    two bowls of   stew  and   ale  for the  women.

 Grabbing the collar of one of the dead,. Come 'long boy'o, yee ar' to meet th' othe' cold uns, but yer makin' a mess. He drags him out the door to the middle of the street, dropping the corpse he looks around at the faces watching him, points too the body. Too bl'dy drunk. Nasty mann'rs.
 He turns to go back in.

 Elandra will make sure Kree was healed by her spell, and she looked at the Arrows seeing none of them openly wounded. Elandra will say a prayer of Peace, go to Kree and she will help him mop up the blood. Elandra then says," I will assist you Kree, I think dragging one of them out might make more of a mess if I did that, so I will help clean up Kree sir."

"Didn't mean to interrupt your flirting," she smirked, throwing Kree a wink as she motioned to the guy he had been talking to with her chin. Chuckling softly, Riven moved to grab a body and began to drag him out.

Tyri gave a little twirl upon entering the room, looking around and taking everything in. She closed her eyes as she inhaled the scents upon the air, having always been one who loved to use incense. When the man asked her about Ivy, Tyri looked up at him with a smile. “Mmmm he is quite the looker…and even better between the sheets,” she giggled. “But we are here to enjoy ourselves…are we not?” she gave him an almost innocent look.

 having turned to return to the doorway, he sees Riven dragging a body towards the building's exit, as he enters he motions that he will take over since he is nearest the street. Aye , let me 'ave 'im. he reaches for the collar of the dead and takes the weight from Riven's hands and starts back out the door to drop the body on the previous deposit. Again, looking around to those that may still be gawking. Th'y bee friends, dr'nk too much t'gether.

Riven gave Vilmund a nod and handed the body over. "Have fun," she chuckled and moved back to help Kree.

Lysander finished rifling the pockets and dragging bodies out.  He put what he found on the table he has sat at, then offered to help with the mopping up.

  The bar tender  and his two  waitresses  watched  kree.. when yer done, I give you all an ale?... least i can do... Now..Elf... what is yer name...

  Kree   dunked the  mop in the  bucket  and  squeezed out the excess... before starting on the  last  batch of  blood  when the   'axed' guy fell.

 ..Quickshadow,,,,Kree  Quickshadow... a coupoe people int eh bar looked at, and the bar tender looked   at him  with a  snort.

 ye don't need to be lyin' to me...I...

 Kree loked  at the Tender and the man stopped talking...Elves do not lie  about who they are?, whether  high born or low...Thier name is  thier banner to take through Life, and Plant  at the gates to the next world.. no elf  worth his blood  would   lie...

 the man interrupted,..but that means..You are part of the Crimson Arrows..

 the younger  woman pointed  at Kree   arrow on his tunic.. the older one pointed at the others...

  My gods!..what mischief are you about!

 ..we have a journey to make..we are stopping here for  fod drink and rest.....if there are slaver  fools, or traitors to the Empire, who wish ill on us, they  will lay in the streets as well... Now? Are the Rooms  ready  for 'Orebender Imports'  we are  working for him...

 start pouring the ales....  he  talks his  bucket   and walks out   into the street, he looks around at the people who have been  watching the bodies  getting  piled, and makes  a show of dumping the Blood   water on the  bodies...

 ..they left bits of themselevs intere... I did not  want it around, so i am returning it...  he starts up the stairs  as he looks  around and adds,..for anyone feeling  foolish?.. the street has alot of room for more. and I do not mind mopping the floor again...

 he waves his comrades to the bar  when he reenters.

  well? if you want , my dear, you may disrobe, while i get us  each a glass of wine...  he  smiles at Tyri.

 Out in the main room Ivy  had  a glass of  wine  as he chatted  with various  people, one fellow had  to leave with  broken fingers  as he tried to cut  Ivy's  purse.

 other then  that the elf  moved through he crowd, lookign for someone he did not know.

 At Kree's motion to join him at the bar, Vilmund nods, looks around at the rest of the room. He straightens a couple of the chairs near tables, and grabs several of the mugs that had been knocked to the floor during the tustle, and takes them to the barman. 'ere ya are good m'n, no need ta 'ave a mess on yer floor.

 Elandra helped Kree finish up moping the floor, she helped put the bucket away and then joined everyone at the bar.

Lysander takes the coin from the table and puts it on the bar and takes a seat.  He says to Kree, "Should we just leave this for the keep and his staff?"

  Bring the  spoils here, we will   sort it it out and split it.... I  fear these  will not be the last scum we have to put  down... The  BAr tender  nods...

 won't be long  afore  the  lawman  comes, wondering  what  happen  to his  strongarms...

 ..that is fine  with me....  we can cut the head off the serpent..

Tyri smiled softly. “Sounds delightful. Why do you inquire about Ivyain? Do you know something that might...interest us?” She purred as she sat and leaned up against several of the pillows. That look in her eye was unmistakable…she liked what she saw and was curious to see where this would go. Did this guy just have information that he wanted to pass on?

Riven brought the spoils to Kree, setting it upon the counter before him. With that done, she looked to the bartender and ordered something hard. “Honestly...some days it would be nice to just...go in without people always looking for a fight...but I suppose I have had a lifetime to get used to it...” She would down the drink quickly when it was placed before her and she looked to regard the other Arrows

"Aye, lass, it seems our lot, but maybe it is what we were created for?  To right the wrongs of evil men?"

She nodded at Lysander's words. "I have been doing it since I was really young. My brother and I had a great way of working together and achieving just that. I inflitrated and relayed the information back to him. I posed as a slave on many occasions...that is where a lot of my scars come from...but the end result was worth it and I saved another from receiving those lashes." She gave a small shrug.

 The fellow  brings a drink over to Tyri,..well ,he is  a member  of  one of the  extreme Merc  group. They Kill indescribably.. scaring all the  good  folks... 

 he  hands her a  drink, his   muscles   flexing  in the lamp light... an innocents  fellow, such as myself, would not  want a cold  blade in my back as we ...got to know  each other.

   Kree sorted the Coins  ... pushing the Daggers to the  to the  side.  Kree  shoves a stack of  coin to the tender..

 ..That is  for you, to make up for  any custom you lost..  he turns  and   hands   5 silvers  to  each of the   Arrows  there..

 ..not much,   we will have to  find richer scum to kill...

 There are  4  daggers on the counter, anyone wants them , take them, if not, the Tender  can have them to sell  or give to his people

“Oh, you don’t have to worry about that with me. I rather like to enjoy my downtime...Ivyain does as well. And yes...we tend to be a little extreme but, for others in the group, a lifetime of pain will do that. I tend to go with the flow unless my...personal codes are broken or threatened.” With a sweet smile, she removed her plain black top before accepting the glass, letting him get a nice eyeful of her dusky colored skin and nicely toned body. “We do make it a point to not harm innocent people and try to protect as best as we can.”

Lysander takes two of the daggers.

He says to Riven, I think your scars make you more interesting.  It becomes something to talk about.  There really are no perfect people, but people who have done something should have something to show for it.

Riven eyed the daggers but waited to see what the others claimed. If no one takes them, Riven will take both. “I have never thought my scars to be interesting...just reminders of the cruelty in the world...the ones on my face though? Those are more personal...those occurred in the fight to try and save my brother and they remind me of my failure to do just that. They push me to continue on growing my skills and learning what I can until I can enact revenge for them taking my twin away...” With a sigh, she reached up and pushed back her hood, raking her fingers through her short, shaggy blond hair.

That makes them the result of love, and what better reason can there be for scars?  As I said, interesting.

While listening to the banter around him from his fellow Arrows, he reaches for his silver, glances at the daggers and passes on them. he turns to Riven,   Riv'n,  yer scars are but a p'rt o' ya, they make ye look the way ye look, but th'y du not make ya. An' they do add a bit o' mystry to ya, and.... a bit o' histry, a hystry to not be trifl'd with.
 He renders her a small head bow, and a places his right hand on his chest over his heart, If'n I be with ya when you enact that r'venge, I vow mee help , if'n called upon.

Aye, I would venture to say we would all lend to that exacting of revenge.

  Kree   waves to  , two tables that are now  vacant near the hearth,..Let us  sit while we  await  what Krwyn  gathers from the woman....

    The Tender brought a bowel of  fried   diced  chicken and a Bowl of  Rolls with some fresh butter...you  said for  me  to  feed my workers,  while, you cleaned up  to night... he smiled  and  moved back to the bar..

 Kree chuckled  ,  cut a  roll, put some butter on it  and  a  few forkfu7ls of the  chicken, biting into the   stuffed bread.

  the Fellow  sat next to her, he  took  a healthy look at her  as he talked.well... It seems i got the better of the deal here, As you and I  are in here. And   Nightblade is out there... So, before i say anything, you mind  telling me  why the Arrows would send  in a Unit to Olant?

 Ivy's eyes would shift now and then to the  back, But he was  ciacght up in a  Game of Daggers,  Throwing  against a  Human and  a HAlf-drow ( who did not appear to like  Ivy  at all)

   They used  'house daggers'  and Ivy  seemed to be cleaning up.

 Elandra went and collected her silver and then said, " So what are we doing now Kree Sir?" as she takes a seat at the bar next to him, praising Amot.

Riven followed Kree to the tables and grabbed a roll and put some butter on it. “Won’t complain about food,” she said before taking a big bite of the roll.

Tyri gave a small shrug as she regarded the man from her reclined position, her glass in hand yet she did not take a sip. “Just business as I am aware,” she gave a sweet, disarming smile.

 The  woman  and Krwyn  settle into her  room...we have to be careful in Olant, not all the evil folk are foolish.. though it  is hard to prove it  by what we have  seen below....

  we have  two missions  for  The Arrows, they were supposed to send two units?.. but they only sent you? Are there more coming?

  Down  in the public room, Kree  watched the  door  as he  ate some for the fried  chicken  bits...... someone has to come....tight?  I mean, if they do not, the   towns folks mught get hope....but of they come and we kill them..that is  that many less club swingers  to  bully to   people?

  The fellow  sat beside her  as he sipped his   wine and  traced   a finger along her skin.

  .. so?.. where are the rest of your friends? surley they did not  send  two  Arrows to  aifd the cause?

Lysander says, "I am going to go walk a perimeter.  Anyone want to come with me?"

  Kree   frowns  a bit,stay out of the alleys . People will not help you here... either because they  will want to see you killed...or because  they  are afraid...

  They have to live here, when we are gone...

 walkign out the   doors, Lysnader  saw two men  and a woman , looking at dead Bodies, they looked  up at Lysander.

 the  middle person, a fellow in a  dark Robe said,..You there?  sis you see who did this?

 Inside. Kree   calmly  ate  as he waited  for    the results  of   Krwyn's  talk

Well, seeing as I was inside, and they are outside, I am unsure as to how I could have seen it.  Looks rather nasty, eh?

When Krwyn is talking with the coin-lady, he hears the sounds of a short fight downstairs. Because of the short time the fight takes, he assumes that Kree and their friends have overcome all enemies and don't need his assistance.

After this disturbance he turns to the lady again: "It is said that you have information that is usefull for us to reach our goals. What can you tell me?"

    she  settles in  and begins to speak softly,we are the  Underlings. A thieves  guild  based  here in Olant. We  are allied to the  Golden Horn, they give  us  aid  when we   are on the other side of the River, we try to aid them here, but we are in a bad  way... There is a  Slaver group, working with the Backing of  Hargen, they are based  all the  way up in the   Divide of the Highpeaks. The  Empire's  ships   will not travel that far up  river, they will only go to Yad.  slaves  are   smuggled through  Yad, despite the Number of  Slavers that hang in giblets there.

 ..The Second  part...is the part here...at   'The Soft Arms'. where  we  would hide  many of our people... the owner has been imprisoned in the   cellar... as  was the  Owner of the  Branch of Fire...., this has caused  us  to stop many operations, and   we sent  a  runner  to  Ironmound  for help to deal with  this.... I am .....uncertain.... to how your  small group   might aid us.

Her skin prickled at the touch, making her shudder. “They are…around,” she said, choosing her words carefully while trying to appear completely relaxed. Being partially nude was nothing new for her but having to keep her guard up was. Icy blue eyes roamed his form, taking it all in as she took a deep steadying breath. In all honesty, she had no idea if this man had any information for her…hell, he could really just be an enemy but she had no way to determine such a thing outside of a fight where sides were easily determined.

   The fellow  nodded  , his half lidded star  as he  kept  tracing her skin.....good..good.. would be   a shame to have sent , just the two of you....He leans in  and kisses her shoudler   , then  sips  from his wine.

 In the common room, Ivy was cleanign up on Bets  for  dagger throws.

 Elandra sat in the common room watching and waiting for what they will do next.

"Why would it be...ashame?" she asked softly, enjoying the feel of his warm lips upon her skin. Finally, she took a sip from her wine, feeling very much relaxed, yet internally alert to any possibility.

At the end of his "walk around the block", Lysander will sneak his way into the shadows across the street from the tavern and just wait.

(OOC)Seems he does a lot of waiting in the shadows.

To the coin-lady Krwyn answers: "Perhaps you find we have a small group, but we are a very experienced company, led by Kree himself. I'll tell him what  it is that is your need, and he will know what to do. Come; we're going down to see what happende in our absence."

 The Coin woman looked   unsure but  nodded,..If You think it wise?  I will follow you...

 she  moves  to let Krwyn lead the way

  Down stairs   Kree  watches  the stairs  and the  door  with equal shifts of the  eyes, but  does not look over   concerned  about either.

  The  Poeple who were loking at the dead, gave  some people a copper each to take the Bodies  to the river...

 The Man in the  Robes   holds  up two silver  coins.....These go to the first one, who tells me were the people who did this are...

 a Ragged  dressed old  woman steps up... she points to 'The Branch"  the  fellow  tosses  the silvers into the mud near her. and she scrambles to get them.

 Lysander  sees  two other  men, one from each end of the street   came when the  Robed fellow   waved  his  arm... that would make   5  folk waiting  outside the   doors.

Lysander will watch to see if they make for the door, while also keeping a watch on the man in the robes.

(OOC) What time of day is it?  That might play into his actions.

Krwyn walks straight up to Kree and his friends at the bar, taking a spot next to Kree, with the coin-lady near him. "Our contact here is one of the  Underlings. He waits a moment before he continues: "And the Underlings have big problems here, that hamper them a lot. The Soft Arms. where they could hide their people ... the owner has been imprisoned in its own cellar. As was the owner of the Branch of Fire. They had sent a runner to Ironmound for help to deal with this. She hopes we are here for her help, but she thinks we are not big enough a company to make the difference."

"I got the impression the two lines of information are connected, so I told her you would take a look into her problems and see what we can do."

For Krwyn, this was quite a long talk, as he is used to much shorter ones.

Riven listened to Krwyn quietly, contemplating over his words. "Wait...the owner of the Siofra's Arms is imprisoned? Isn't that where Ivy and Tyri went?" She frowned, that concern clear in her crystal blue eyes. "While I trust that Ivy is able to read a situation correctly...I don't think that Tyri can do the same...she's too trusting. And if they have parted ways in the establishment...well..." She gave a shrug as she stood up, readying herself. If they did not take any action, she would at least go to ensure the others' safety.

  Kree Looks  at  the  woman with Krwyn, and back at the   BAr Keep, He points to the Bar Keep and says   with his back towards the bar, after the fellow comes  over.

 ..I am going to ask this  question, as I wave my hand   as if i am ordering  drinks for my friends.... You will then  fetch us a  Pitcher of   fine Ale..and go  back to your  work....you will howvere..anser this  question...

 The  Man  nods, of  course, Master  Elf..I...

 I am an Elf,  I am no one's master... he waves his hand  as he mentioned and asked,  is the owner of this Inn, in your  cellar...or ...at the Cellar of Siofra's Arms?

 ..she...she  is here ,  ...good sir...They have a Half Ogre  and a pair of Dire wolves  watching over her...

 Thank you..now  fetch  the  Pitcher  and some bread with Butter....

 He looks  aroudn the table...Vilmund, Find Lysander...? Perhaps   after   we have a drink,  You two might feel the  need for   a nice warm  woman, while the rest of us decide  it might be  time to head to our  rooms...  we  will see to the  creatures below us.... you will  give Ivy  the word, or Tyri, if you see them... The  Arms will have boys there, that they use   for Runners....if things  look bad.. send one of them to me  with a promise of a silver  if they reach  me..

 The   Barkeep  returns  with  the Pitcher    and  one of the servers  with the bread and Butter.

 Tell the BArd there to stay.... I will have need  of his Music, when we finish here..

  In the Hall outside,   Ivy  was  dropping silvers in his pouch and Laughing. Only those who knew him well enough, might catch a quick shift of his eyes   as   a few of the men in the  hall didn't seem overly interested in the Ladies...

She sucked in a breath, her eyes partially closing as his lips made contact with the skin of her neck, a shudder coursing through her. "Mmmm you won't hear me complain..." she murmured.

   Lysander stops by the   door, giving  Kree a high sign and Holding his  HAnd up showing 5.

  ..this..this  is why no one likes Olant!  he   downs the last of his drink, nocks and arrow  in his Bow  as he stands up,Lest see what they want... and    how soon we have to kill them...

 Kree nods  to Lysander, who poens the Door, as   the elf  steps out, his  bow   up  as  it shifts from one  man to the other.. they all take a  few steps  back to stand on the street.

 ..I am tired... i want to rest...and you keep sending people for me to kill... you are in luck though... I like to kill 100 slavers  and bandits  per day.. i am a wee shy..so....tell me  why you are here, before you run back to your master..or   die in  the mud..either is fine with me..


 The Robed  fellow  tries  to gather himself  as he says....you are under arrest//you will all come with us to  the Lords  manner for  questioning and..

 he was interrupted  by  Kree's laughter..If i go to the lord's manor, it will be to  burn it down..last chance  for you to scamper away and lick some more boots..or  whatever  it is of your lord, that you lick....My next discourse  will be  with a shaft in your throat...and not the kind you like from your master...

 the  men  started  to reach for thier  weapons..The Robed man was  embarrassed as people watching laughed  at the  wit Kree tossed at the men.

Lysander flanks them, hand axes in both hands and a grin on his face.

"I am hungry and you are keeping me from my meal.  You have a choice, run or die.  In 1 minute, I am going in the door, so make your choice quickly."

His laugh was derisive, at best.  Evil would be all some would think.

At the other side of Kree, Krwyn stands ready, his longsword in hand, a grin on his face.

 The  fellow  continued to  explore her body as he said, ..i do not think we need so much light...  he  softly says a  word, and  three light globes hanging from the  ceiling  grow  dim, enhanced only by the  candle light.

 Out In the Hall  the light globe for the fellow's 'room' goes out. two men smile   as then nod  at  each other from across the   Room... they  in turn, nod to  a woman who sat near the door,  looking   around  as  some  dockworker  tried to  talk her into takign his coin.

 She  finally caught thier   stare, and smiled and    patted the fellow on the shoulder  as  she stood,  and  started to slink  towards Ivy.. the  dockworker frowned a  said frown

  Kree  turns his head , only Slightly,I need two of you to get that Bard to play some loud  drinking song.. Tell him, if he  keeps  playing, and I live, he'll get  2  gold  coins....after that, you  go to the basement and see  if you might free the owner of this place..

 His   head   returns, to Face the  Robed fellow  , his   man had  spread out a Bit.. the nearest one to Lysander facing him  with  his  Cudgel  ready.

 I dislike this town, more and more, each time  i visit....they only  good thing is? each time i visit there are less of the scum, that i do not like, still alive.....your problem is this, Robed one.. do you wish to join that pile of Manure  in the street... or do you  wish to run back to your master  for a fresh helping om cleaning his rear?

Krwyn's longsword flashed upward to block the man atacking him, while a dagger appears in left hand to stab at the man when he is turned a bit by the deflection of the sword. The dagger finds a soft spot under his right armpit, puncting his right lung. The man tumbles backward as the bloodred bubbles come frothing from his mouth already, not yet believing he is dying already.
"I don't know if they hace a orc cart here, but so, it would be busy tailing us tonight."

Not looking back, Krwyn turns and enters the inn again, heading straight for the bard and bringing him Kree's message.

 Elandra brought up her hand and fired a guiding bolt at the closest attacker to her. She will also get her hand crossbow at the ready.

Lysander swings his axe just as the attacker comes into the arc.  It cleanly slices into him. "A stick ain't got the reach of an axe, a lesson you learned too late.   Next victim?"
He moves towards whomever is left, looking to remove them from the land of the living.

Tyri let out a soft sigh, blissfully unaware of what was happening and intent on enjoying herself.

Riven moved with Krwyn, letting him relay the information to the bard while she looked towards the bar. "Mayhaps the man behind the bar will be helpful..." she said softly in elvish to Krwyn.

  The Bodied  fell as Lysander lashed  out  Cutting the man down..The Robed  fellow lay in the mud,    gasping   as  his  blood  welled out of the  opening the  shaft stood from.

   The Fellow  was hit  By  Elandra's bolts..  he staggered back..  looking  at her  with deep hate..  Krywn's fellow   was on the    duckboards  bleeding.. out...

 Kree  had  another  Arrow  nocked  as he said  to the one  wounded fellow and another who was  on the street  by the Dying Robed fellow.... go..both of you., Tell your master we are in town for a day or two...and if he keeps sending people after us, we will pave the  street with thier bodies..

  Both  Men  bent to get the Robed  fellow..

 ..NO!..he stays.. he dies where i promise him... and I want my arrow back.., i do not like to take gifts back from the living.. I  will reclaim it  when he has  died.. Go1..before   i  decide  the street needs  more  bodies..

 The  two  Took off...The elf  walked slowly down  the steps  and looked at the  dying  robed fellow..,,This day was always coming...you knew that, Aye? From the moment  you joined with slavers and such.. a crimson arrow was going to  Find you..

 The  Fellow  struggled  for a   few minutes.. reaching out to Elandar for ai.. Kree Just watched... waiting to reclaim his  arrow

  Tyri and  her host were well into  the  thier  entertaionment.

  Elf   collected the 'house Daggers  ' for another  round.. when  he pretended to 'just notice the  three  men with hand cross bows as they   stood behind a  table full of   Liquor from around the Realms...

 His Eyes  shifted to a  woman who slid the blot  across the   door, he  had the   bar at his back..the Tendress  ran  towards the back..

 ..you'll come with us, now Elf....

 Ivy  threw  one of the baggers  and it  crashed  into the  Bottles   shattering Most of them..

 the crossbow men laughed  as   'customers',  moved to the door, or two the   door to the kitchen....you pounted eared  jester!..you missed....

 ..did  I?, he grabbed   a lantern  from the bar   and threw in one motion to the  table.. Flames  flared  Up.. the  liquid on the cross  bowmen  caught fire  where the   expensive  drinks splattered on them..

  his   Bow  slide   down his arm  even  as the othe r hand  set an Arrow  and

 sent it into the woman at the  door...Pinning her against the wall as she screamed...

 Everyone who does not want to die.. Unbolt the door and Run!

 then Another  arrow   flew  to the other  end of the   room where  a fellow had a blade in his hand.....Ivy was not sure if he was a foe, but he had  no time to ask..

 The cross bow men ha d dropped thier weapons  and  were screaming  and waving thier  arms, which made the   fire even more hungry

Lysander, knowing that things would be calm here until more fodder could be sent, went in to get a meal and some ale.  He would take his seat in the shadows again, later, but killing made him hungry.

 Elandra watched the man who looked at her with hate leave as Kree told them they could, the robed man reached out for her aid, she looked at his wounds she wasnt sure if she could heal him. Elandra decided to try and save his soul, she kneeled beside himand said," Go with Peace, clear your heart and let the peace flow through, in Amot's name I pray for your soul."

Krwyn turns to the man behind the bar: "Where is the entrance to the cellars, and is there anything you can give me to help freeing your boss? Perhaps some food for those wolves?"

   The   tender   gives  Krywn a nervous smile.....in the   kitchen, there is a  door that leads  down to the  cellar... there is a  big  space to the  south of the steps?.. they  have her there, with the Half ogre.. the  wolves  move around..they don't take  food  from anyone  but the half orge..

  ..............

 Kree  places his foot  on the , almost dead  man....you feel helpless?  You feel...frightened? imagine  what the poeple you  steal and sell feel...children,,women?... maybe your gods  do not care about  such things..but they are not here... and I am...
 he  twisted the   arrow  and  pulled treating  a large  chuck of the man;s  throat out, he  gave his  arrow  a shake to get the  flesh off.. he pointed the bloody arrow  to all the people in a semicircle  …..go home , and aid, NOT, these scum... and pray that you never need help from the Arrows.... the last words he  , looked  straight  at the   woman who had  picked up the silvers..

 bending  down, he took the  purse from the ..now dead.. robed  fellow.. some of the people elaft..in a hurry..some just watched  looking  at the dead in the street.

"Lysander...mayhaps you can help Krwyn. I am going to go to Siofra's Arms and check on the other two..." It went against what Kree had ordered her to do but she just felt uneasy. She made her way to where Kree and Elandra were. "I am going to check in with Ivyain and Tyri..." she said softly in elvish.

  Kree frowns, be careful..i do not like  to have us  spread out  too much..too long..

  he moved to the    inside of The branch

 The door  was oepned  and   some men  and woman ran out into the street... they saw  three of the  Towns  watch waiting  wondering what was goign on now...

  Ivy  had lost his sense of humor  now now   lookign to kill anyone who dared to be in his way...

Lysander looked between Kree and Riven, and spoke to Kree, "Do you want me to accompany her to keep her safe?"  It seems we are being targeted and one of us alone is not a good idea.

 Aye, Go with her, we will aid Krywn here... do not be gettle, protect yoruselves  and  your comrades  first.

Hearing her name yelled out, Tyri pulled away from the man and looked towards the door. "I...did you hear that?" she asked, sitting up, a frown on her pretty face. "What did Ivy do now?" she sighd heavily as she attempted to get up.

 The fellow   tried to hold  Tyri  down,..ahh..do not worry about the fool, we  are having such  a good time!

Lysander hurried to keep up with Riven.

"Fool? Ivy is not a fool..." she frowned as she shifted, feeling his grip on her shoulders tightening. That moment of panic began to well up. "IVY!!!!" She screamed out, praying that he could hear her.

 The Crossbowmen were   screamign  as they caused the  fires   to grow, on failed  his commonsense  and  tried to dump more drink on him ,  causing   fired to grow..

    Ivy    cut the arm off   a  rather  chubby fellow who came  at him with a skinner's  knife...  the noise  was  loud   as people  were panicking , Ivy did not know if he had allies in the building or not...

 ..TYRI!!

 The  fellow grinned  at her,..do not  worry  little one.. his grin got  darker...it will be over soon and you and  i will have many nights together...

Realizing the truth of her situation, Tyri frowned. "I don't think you...quite understand..." she said in a dangerous tone, shifting slightly. Her movements were fluid as she reached up and wrapped her arms around his chest, right below his arms and pulled him downward. "The feeling has changed..." She wrapped a leg around one of his, feeling him trying to push up. "This is no longer my desire..." She quickly shifted her grasp on his chest, slipping one arm up and over a shoulder as she used her other leg and hips to push upward. The shift in weight and hopefully the surprise was enough to allow her to roll the guy onto his back and letting her have that vantage point.

Her maneuver had worked though when she had managed to reverse the position and given the closeness, she made it a point to place a hand upon the man's forehead, waiting for the movement to stop before letting her hand 'slip' and her elbow to come crashing down upon the bridge of the man's nose. Heaaring his cry of pain and that moment of being stunned was all Tyri needed. Quickly, she jumped up off of him and grabbed her clothing as she passed, running towards the door, hoping that it wasn't locked.

 her hope was dashed,, the   door  was locked , the   key was on a night stand   at the her right hand side... the  man was   getting his senses   about him to her left.

.. again she heard the  Call from Ivy, a bit closer  and  the clash of  steel along with screams of  pain and surprise...and....smoke?

"IVY!!!" she screamed as she moved to grab the key.

  In the   Hall  Poeple  didn't  know what to do, the Jovial Elf  had  turned into a Savage   monster, the   longsword  lashing  out  like a whip,  takign  hands, arms  and   tearing throats.

 Out in the street, the  people  ran ( most, maybe , so they wouldn't have to  pay for thier drinks!) The Axehandles  pushed  people away from them, most were smart enough to   veer away from them

 Ivy had  felt the sting of a Blade  or  two, but  the reactions  was always the same, the  swords  would backhand  and   cut  the  person,  or the  hilt  would break a nose, jaw  and teeth,

    The Bar  keep and  some servers  already ran to the kitchen, two of the men who had  cross bows  were   on the  ground  screaming as  fire  ate  away  at them,, the other  was  runnign into the street like an idiot  , causing the flames to burn brighter.

  as   Ivy neared the  door, he  heard Tyri scream his name..  a  fellow   hit  Ivy's  right leg with a   chair Ivy sent t his blade throught he  fellow  with a deep look of hate  as he  started into the man's eyes  as he twisted the blade....you fool!.. we are here to aid the likes of you!

 the Man    just watched  blood spurt from his mouth   as he fell backwards..   Ivy reached  the  steps  to the  door.. and a very large  man  stepped out of the balck curtains, Holding a very large  Mace....all the gods  be damned.. really?

 the  big man smiled.

 Tyri   started for the   key, and so did the dazed  man...

Seeing chaos, Lysander felt he was in his element.  He quickly assessed who looked like they were afraid and who looked like they meant business.  Hearing the screams from inside, he made his way to the door, noticing the Axehandles, but waiting to see how they reacted.  His own axe was out and ready to ruin someone's day.

Before he leaves for the cellar, Krwyn has one last question for the barkeep: "That cellar: is the floor stone, or clay?" He try to think of all advantages he could find as the two of them against an ogre and two wolves would be a hard task.

She could hear the man stumbling about which only spurred her on. Quickly, she grabbed the key and moved up to the door, trying her best to stick the key in the lock to unlock the door.

  Tyri gets the   key in the lock.. and  turns it, the  door is   Unlocked, the  Fellow is  up on his   feet, Dagger in hand..

 ............

  Ivy looks  at the big  fellow...so?.. I'm thinking your  more  was  taken by an Ogre?  because..no on  would be so ugly, elsewise?

 The    massive male  stpped down the stairs     getting  ready to swing his   maces  with  and Over hand  smash...  Ivy  jumped   to  his left  and  slashed  at the left Arm, he hit, but  the damage was  slight.. But  enough to make the creature   Howl.....you hurt me... I squash and eat you!

......

 The  Axehandle in the middle  shouts,You there!.. don't go in!.. we are waiting for  some one to come out....

  kree and Elandra  approached  Krywn as the Bar Keep looked confused...

 ..The Fllor is  faved  with stone?..we are  kigher then the  river, but in times of  flood, we do not  wish the watere seeping into our  stored goods.

"You would keep a dwarf from ale?  That is not a wise choice.  Now, move or die, your choice."

 Elandra stayed with Kree as they headed over to Krywn, Elandra didnt know what to expect, but she was ready for anything.

With a squeak, Tyri quickly opened the door and came running out, pausing for just a split second before heading to the stairs, clothes in hand and not caring for her lack thereof. Glancing over her shoulder to see where the man was, Tyri quickly decended the stairs, stopping when she saw the large...creature attacking Ivy. Fumbling through her clothes, Tyri found her dagger that was hidden in her belt and drew it.

Staying in the shadows, she saw how Lysander was received and began to look for a way up to the second story. If she could break in through one of the windows...then it achieved the same goal.

Krwyn looks around, realizing that he is on his own, while he thought that Riven was besides him. Just in time he is approached by Kree and Elandra. "In the kitchen is a door to the cellar. The half ogre and two dire wolves are in a large room south of the stairs. A stone floor, so my spell of entangle won't work." He heads to the kitchen, knowing Krre and Elandra are in his footsteps. "Perhaps one at the foot of the stairs to hold them at bay while the others work their bows and magic?" he suggests. To Eladra he speaks: "And perhaps a spell now to gives us an edge?"

 Kree   readies his  bow, and  makes   sure his blade is loose in its scabbard...You know  me, My friend. Spells  are not part of  my weaponry...

 He truns to   Elandra  to see what she has   to offer

the  left hand  side AxeHandle turned to  look at Lysander...This place is  not  a palce to have  an ale or a drink....it is a place  to beds and bodies... The Middle   one   motions to the one on the right.

 That fellow   walks up the  steps   as   the flow of  people were now a trickle.. the smell of burnt  flesh  greeted his  nose, and he  dragged the  dead woman's  body out and dropped her on the porch .There is  still   some fighting going on  I think...

 The    Big   creature   was bellowing  now as the saw the  door opens  , and a   body being  pulled out.

 I smash you hard! the Mace came down on a  table  that  Ivy just leapt off. It shattered   as if  made from bark.

  The elf  was about  to circle  behind when he saw the movements of Tyri, and     jumped  forward instead, not wanting to   draw the creature's  notcie ...he slashed  at the things    as he    Jumped  back  towards the  bottom of the stairs, and Only nicked the thing.. the creature stepped  down two more steps as it  readied  another  two handed    swing.

Lysander threw his knives at the middle axehandle and asked the others, would you like the same fate?  He drew his hand axes. Move or die!

 Elandra smiled then cast Shield of Faith and then Aid for the three of them.I can help some, this should help us. May Peace be with us." Elandra smiled again and got her staff and spells at the ready.

Krwyn readies his longsword and takes his matching shortsword in his left hand. The combination of the two weapons was not only a offensive benefit, but a better defence as well. Silently he opens the door to the cellar; feeling bolstered by the spells from Elandra he looks down to see what the light conditions, before his first steps down.

As the daggers fly, the first one sinks deep into his abdomen, but the second one hits him right in the eye socket and goes deep.

"Gonna be a pain to clean! who's next?"

It was clear that she was scared as she looked at the creature’s back but she wasn’t going to let that stop her…Ivy needed her despite her lack of clothing and that shame she felt for being so easily fooled. With a surprising agility, she leaped from the stair she stood on, letting her clothing fall as she found herself clinging to the thing’s back. Taking a deep breath, she plunged her dagger into the left side of his neck, attempting to severe the jugular artery.

Not seeing another way, Riven unshouldered her bow and nocked an arrow. Taking a bead on one of the uninjured men, Riven let her arrow fly, quickly loading another arrow and letting it follow in the first's wake.

Lysander let's his hand axes fly and rushes towards the door while bringing out his big axe.

 Tyri  Jumps  on the  orge's   back..  her stabs  are  shaky at best as the   creature  swings  around.. Two  Deep   stabs   did  find thier mark as the  creature   Howled in  confusion and Pain.. The   Mace  Came  down on the  table  Ivy had    jumped to,  even as he took one of the Ogre's   fingers of its  left hand..    Ivy snarled   as the creature  as he  tried to get up..

 the ogre  looked like his feelings  where  hurt as he said.. ..little poeple..no hurt me.. i hurt little poeple..it..my ..job..  Blood  oozed  and  streamed  from the two deepest wound on  its neck...

  from  behind  the Ogre.  the fellow  with his own Dagger was   caught by the , rather erotic sight  of   the female on the back of the orge as she stabbed and stabbed.

 outside  Rivens  Arrows hissed into  the   other fellow    as he  dropped his  Axehandle  and  fell to his knees    Lysander   hit the fellow with one  Axe, the other   axe sailed into the mud..

 the  wounded  Man  tried to   swing his axehandle  abut Misses   as Lysander  entered the door, seeing  two smoking  bodies  to the left  and  an Ogre  with a naked Tyro on its  back, while the  creature   tried to mash Ive  with a mace that was as big around as most of the tables.. behind   the ogre, a  fellow    watched   as  he  seemed  ready to    try to  bring  Tri  down as she rode  on the Ogre.

  Kree   puls back his  hood, , his  crimson arrow  easy to see.....let us do this...maybe  we will get  a bit of sleep tonight...

 they  headed  down the steps.

  there were growls   from the  big wolves, one  on  each side of the steps..  in front of them was a half orge..eating  someone..while  a woman  seemed to  be  asdleep in a chair , tied and gagged.

Lysander charges the ogre and swings his axe, but rushing the swing, he misses the beast.

Doing her best to keep her grip upon the beast, Tyri shifted just slightly and stabbed at the creature's face, aiming for an eye. "Ivy! T-there...was a man chasing me!" she called out, not sure where that man was but fearing that he could be closing in and she had her back to the stairs.

Nocking another arrow, Riven quickly made her way into the establishment, crystal blue eyes surveying the scene before her. Seeing Lysander going for the ogre, Riven took aim at the man on the top of the stairs and released her arrow, quickly nocking another and letting that fly right behind the first.

 Elandra smiled and then let them both go first, she got her spells ready and her ring.

She cursed in elvish under her breath as her first arrow let out a loud thud as it hit the wall that encased the stairway and her second arrow just nicked the guy, leaving a bright line of blood upon his cheek. At least he knew they were there now though...

Almost at the bottom of the stairs, Krwyn braced himself for the attack. The first attacker would meet his two swords. He took a defensive stance, hoping to shield Kree to give him time and room to use his bow to their advantage.

  when they heared the Bottom of the Steps, the   wolves growled     , standing Up,  one came from the left of them, the other  from the right..  they crouched, ready to spring.. The  Half Orgre  dropped the  Arm  he was chewing on into a metal tub that had some other  Body parts in, it seemed him and the wolves shared the food.

 The   woman who was tied  was  slumped  to one side, and was  either  asleep or dead.

 The  half Ogre stood up  a two handed sword was grabbed  that leaned against the  high backed bench he used  as  as  chair..you no  come  down here..leave..or  wolves eat...i eat..need fresh food  anyway.. go..

 Kree    had  an arrow   knocked,..whoa, Big Ugly, we came for that woman....

 You not have    lady.. she is here until Boss people say she can go...bad people coming to Olant.. we must stop them..are you bad people?

 all people are good and bad...it depends who  is looking at you? It is the life you lead that is   the   real 'good or bad"...

 The  Half Ogre's  forward wrinkled and Un wrinkled..too much thinking..you go..or we  eat..

   The  Ogre  Swayed  as he   he  talked in a roaring whimper....stop  hurting me!.. i do job... you hurt me.. stop hurting  me...

 One  Arm tried to grab the bare  woman from his back, but  the  creature was too muscle bound to  reach.. He   swprt  the  mace  with his  right  Hand, shattering  another  Table, causing Ivy to Jump back  and  fall on the smokign bodied  of the   hand crossbow men.. he  grabbed one of the weapons, only to see the  fires had  burned the  strings.

  Tyri    mad some more stabs.. she managed a   slice of meat off the orge's right eyebrow,, she was  now  bathed is  ogre  blood.
 The   'almost naked  ' man Looked towards  Riven, and  darted  abck into the room he  came from.

 Lysander   stood to   the  Orge's left. near the bar , he was now   ...just...out of  ranch of the sweeping , massive mace.

As the mace whizzed by, Lysander pounced, trying to inflict as much damage as he could.

 Elandra smiles at the Ogre and then cast calm emotions towards him and she says," We come for Peace my friend, please just let us help the woman and we can all be happy."

There were pangs of guilt at his words...he was just doing his job...but she knew he would not be walking out there alive. He was easily swayed with coin so he had to die. "Just...die already!" she cried out as she stabbed down at his neck once more.

With an unseen grin, Riven shouldered her bow as she quickly made her way to the stairs, careful to avoid the fight with the ogre in front and lithe enough to make her way up the stairs and after her prey. Once on the safety of the stairs, she drew her long slender swords.

  Riven caught the man, he was near a door,  with the  window to the  right of the room open.. he  buckled on a  sword   belt  with his elater  pants and had  finished with his boots..

  Lysander's    axe , after two   hard  swings  ( with two ducks!)m Cut deep into the Orge's  left Foot....

Tyri   Jammed   time and  again,  the think skin  giving  way , only  in  cerain spots.

  The   Ogre, took a  Cut  in  the arm that had the mace As Ivy got to  his   feet  and   stabbed up at the arm as it went over his head...

 noooooo,,,nooo,,me hurt... me..don't want to die... me have job to do....

 Lysander's  Axe, and Most of  Lysander was  cover  in Ogre gore..

  The Half Ogre  readied the Bastard sword  that he  swished like  a human would a short sword. You are in wrong place.. you go..or  we  feed!

 the wolves were closing in, Kree  frowned ..it didn't  matter which one he would hit first.. the other  two enemies  would be on them as soon as his  second  arrow was sent

 he   whispered...Are you ready, my friends..

Ogre gore was nothing more to Lysander than the orc gore he had fought through in the mountains.  No matter the size, he was not going to let blood and guts deprive him of the prey.  Lysander would make this ogre think about different employment in the future, if it had one.

 Elandra nods and says," I am ready who do you wish me to strike?"  As soon as Kree answers her and fires , Elandra fires her Guiding bolt using two slots to empower it to do more damage to the target Kree tells her to hit.

I will send  as many shafts into the Half Ogre  as i am able, cut down, or  disable the wolves... they will be more  dangerous,,

 ..let us begin...NOW!

 The first arrow  Hit  the    Half Ogre  as the second one was on the way.. the Half Ogre screamed in surprise, pain and anger  as he began to Lumber towards the  Steps..  two arrows  in his chest.. a Thrid  arrow  was aimed for his left thigh, since he  carrier the sword in his right..

Keeping her grip on the ogre was growing increasing difficult with all of the blood spilling from his wounds. Tears stung her eyes as she jabbed the dagger into his neck and instead of pulling it back out, kept it there and held on, trying to create a better hand hold...or at least cause more damage as it sliced downward due to her weight.

"I'll try to keep them at bay at all costs to buy you time for your missiles," hisses Krwyn under his breath, brandishing his swords, stabbing and swinging at the first enemie that comes close enough.
His aim is more to keep them away from the stairs and his friends than to kill.

“To think it would be so easy to just escape is quite the insult...” she said as she charged in. She faked with a swing but brought the other sword in from the other side.

 After Elandra fires her first empowered damaged bolt she would fire another one at the same wolf to try and take it out as fast as possible. She calls forth the power of the Goddess of Peace, Amot.

Lysander swings his axe over his head to hit the Ogre as high as he can.

   The Man  Looked  at  Riven  with surprise  and anger,  he  tried to draw his blade..    as he    truned to Block the first Blade, but his eyes   widened  as the  second blade  drove in.

 he looked  at her..with  a question...

  The ogre was Getting  weak.. whining  and  pleading not to be hurt... His Mace  hit   Ivy  as it Bounced of the  ground, the   Elf  looked like a rag doll as he  smashed into an , already smashed table.

  Lysander   gets the creature in the Belly , while  Tyri  held onto the blade.. It fell forwards Hitting the floor..

 it was  breathing  heavy... tears rolled   out of its  eyes...  Ivy was struggling to get up, then decided to ..maybe  wait a bit..The Ogre looked  at him sadly.....did  ..i ..hurt you?

  Ivy  gave a  soft frown and Nodded,...aye... you hurt me  good...

 me..did...my  job?

 aye... you did.. sleep now....

 the  Ogre  gave a little  smile  his eyes closed... and   his  last breath was released.

Lysander looks around to see what is left, knowing the man was in the capable hands of Riven, he went back outside to retrieve his daggers and hand axes.  "How are my little friends?"  He looks to see if any dangers remained outside for them.

When she felt the ogre begin to fall forward, Tyri let go of the dagger hilt, dropping to her feet but slipping in the blood that coated her and falling on her backside. She was visibly shaken by the encounter, a large tear rolling down her cheek. Even if she wanted to get dressed, she would need to clean up first. "Ivy...are you alright?" she managed, shifting and moving to where he was. Her voice was trembling as she reached up and wiped away her tears, and only managing to smearing the blood that splattered her face.

  Ivy  looked at her, and Nodded slowly,..i am goign to need some new  arrows. he broke them  when i  smashed the table the first time..... and..i hope we have  some healing  back at the Inn...

 his eyes looked at her,..at least  one of us had   some pleasure in this night..

 Lysander  only saw the dead.. people were makign sure  they were stayign away from the buildign for now.

Lysander re-enters and says, "We are clear for now.  We can lick ours wounds here, or get back to the rest.  I am not trying to be insensitive, just making sure we are safe."

She shook her head and started to cry. "Until I realized he was trying to keep me there when I heard you yell for me," she sobbed. "I am...so stupid for just trusting him. I'm so sorry Ivyain..."

Riven's eyes slightly narrowed as she looked at the man. "Speak your piece and I will make this quick..." she said firmly.

  The Half Ogre  stumbled  towards   kree his eyes   flashed in the lantern light  as he  broke the sword  up.

  krywn   had  just  finished  with  His  wolf...

  Elandra , was  keepign hers  at  bay  as it  took  wounds...

   Ivy tried to get up again, but  shook his head  and stayed there... he  truned his ehad to Tyri again,

 ...you are in a new life now... and there are more people who will not like you for it...then will like you..others   ..others  are happy to see us come along, and even happier to see us go.. grab a table cloth, or something  to get dressed.


  lookign to Lysander,..anyone esle  come with you?

 The   fellow   gasped  and he said,..you people are fools, you follow  a killer..a maniac... he  will cause the deaths  of   scores in this town!

Still sniffling, she moved up to check on Ivy's wounds, trying to assess how badly wounded. She would tend to herself once she was sure that he was at least okay. "I just...I feel so dumb..." she sniffled.

Lysander said, "just Riven and I.  She was going to come alone, but I thought it better to ensure her safety.  The rest have their own issues, but they are capable."

"Tyri, you aren't dumb, you just didn't recognize the evil here."</Aqua>

  Ivy forced himself  to  sit up, his eyes  rolled a bit in  pain,... I will tell you some time, of  my first trip to  Tou with Kree..you will feel like the wisest of sages!

he looks  at the  large  maces  laying  on the  floor  near him..damnable mace is bigger then a small pony..

"The only fool I see is you...and be glad it is I and not Kree taking your life...he would gladly make you suffer moreso than I." With that said, Riven grabbed ahold of the man's collar and pulled him up to her so he could look into her cold gaze. There was a hint of a smile in those crystal blue pools as she drove her sword home and watching the light leave his eyes.

She gingerly helped him to sit up, clearly worried about him. "I doubt...anything would make me feel...like a wise sage..." she gave a self-deprecating chuckle as she wiped an eye. "I...don't know what is going on but it just really scared me that I couldn't get to you right away. I think...you would have been proud at how I did get free though..." She murmured, trying to see some positives.

"Okay, m'lady, if you will don some proper clothing, I will help Ivy up and we can make our way to Kree, hopefully without altercation." He yells, "RIVEN, ARE YOU DONE... then he sees her coming back down... never mind.  We need to get these two back to the inn."

He searches the ogre for anything interesting.

 The Ogre  had a purse on his  ragged  pants, it contains   small silvers and coppers

 Ivy  shakes his head  as he stands,..the  creature  did   somehting to be inside... best  find a healing potion, or a cleric of some sort

Motioning   for his Bow...get me  my bow.. it would be better to be dead, then to lose my bow...

As he helps, Ivy up, Lysander says, "Tyri, can you get his bow? Thanks."  He looks around and he doesn't feel they can safely stay there.  "Sorry, Ivy, I don't have any potions on me.  Let's get you to a safer place and we will see about getting you fixed up there."  Sorry I was slow to get here.  We had a few obstacles on the way.

"The others are most likely still engaged in battle...and we need to check the basement. The owner was said to be imprisoned..." She said as she came down the stairs, wiping her blade on a piece of cloth she had lifted from the man upstair's body. "Seems like a good thing we came when we did, eh?" she said to Lysander as she moved towards the bar.

  Ivy nods,..the owner? Then check the basment.. I will....wait here...

 He  points to the   side  door the ogre  out of.. with a wince as he moved his arm.

Tyri, I will go with Riven, please stay with Ivy.

"Back me up Lysander," she said as she moved to the door and opened it, one sword drawn and ready.

She nodded, sniffling a bit as she finally climbed to her feet. Grabbing a table cloth, Tyri set about cleaning herself to at least put her clothes back on. "Sorry Ivy," she sighed, shaking her head. "I should have known when he called you a fool...but I was...caught up in the moment..." She said, clearly ashamed.

 Ivy tried to laugh.....Kree's father calls us  fools   alot?.. I used to think that was part of our  name!...Do not  worry ,  It is a concern what happened  witht he owner here... that should mean our  contacts might have to  talk to us another way.

She let out a soft sigh and once she was able, she got dressed even though she still had ogre blood on her. Once that was done, she moved up to Ivy. "I suppose it was good those two came to help..."

One wolf eliminated and the other one under attack of Elandra's bolts, the half ogre pas the last to worry about. Krwyn tries to deflect the heavy sword with his longsword and, turning with the flow of the attack, bringing his short sword inside the guard of the opponent, stabbing him in his right flank.
Against a normal measured enemy, he would have used his swords the other wasy round, but the sword short would not have been able to deflect such a nasty blow.

 Elandra would keep firing bolts at the wolf until it stopped, she had to protect her friends and help this lady. She also had her x-bow ready if she had to fire point blank at the wolf.

Lysander followed Riven, ready for anything.

   Riven and Lysander moved to  the door, the  wafting smell from the cellar was that of  soil and  wet wood...perhaps  some mold.

    the  steps were well worn from the  Ogre walking up and  down them... there were more then a  few bones Lying around. Some of them weren't human.

   near a  small fire in a firpalce  at the  upper bed of the cellar (leading away from the  river) was a woman's form, tied  and  Gagged, slumped over in a chair.

  Ivy   tied to  chuckle but it hurt too much,  we had them where  we wanted them.. they were so busy thinking how  they were goig ti kill us...they forgot  to  , just kill us!.  I am hoping that means  Kree and the others  are alright, if they sent  two of us out to find us.

 I did  win  14 silvers and a dog, in the  knife throwing contest...

  while Krywn came in from the Flanks, Kree   ducked the Blow from the  Half-Ogre,  and slashed  at the Unsuspecting  Wolf, that attacked   Elendra...

 ..Hit the Humanoid! he said to Elendra...  even as his  Balde  Cut into the wolf.. makign it  Yelp  and    roll away..it was crippled now , between the bolts and the blade.. But it snarled at  Kree.

Lysander, not trusting that the ogre and man were alone, looks first to the rest of the room, ensuring they are alone before freeing the woman.

She let out a soft sigh, clearly worried about him as she moved to help offer him some support, her touch gentle. "Are you even going to be able to make it back to where Kree and the others are?" Her voice was solemn, inwardly still blaming herself for everything that happened. "I should have just stayed with you..."

  Ivy  shook his head,...We  came here to meet some one... that was our task. It would seem, someone else knew it was our  task...The Important  part, is what happened to thepeople we were to meet?

"I have no idea...are we in...danger then?" Her voice was full of worry, recalling Ivy's yell for her and her inability to get to him quick enough. It scared her yet she couldn't figure out why.

Riven followed Lysander closely, her grip on her swords tightening as she looked around, letting Lysander deal with the, hopefully unconscious, woman.

  Lysander  noticed  two things  about the female... she was a drow...and she  had a crimson arrow earing.. seh was also out cold.

"Drow!" He almost yells under his breath.  He says, to Riven, "I think we should leave her tied up and take her upstairs.  I just can't trust a drow."

"She wears an arrow... besides...you trust Tyri and she is, by my guess at least half drow..." She stated, not going to argue with the dwarf. She went to the stairs and called out, "Ivyain...is the owner a female drow?"

  ..I do not know?..never met the owner, the few times  we came in,  we  paid  for a woman and they took us to a room where  we could sneak out   without  any one seeing us...needless to say, Olant is not a good place   if  defenseless  elves to walk around in..  he nodded   , trying to keep a straight face.

"She wears an arrow...so I assume she's one of us..." She shrugged and moved to help Lysander.

Tyri has proven herself time and again. For now, we will untie this one, but I will be watching and we will get her story, upstairs..

And with that, those are the actions he takes.

 Elandra shifts her attack to the Ogre and she unleashes her guiding Bolt at him hoping to take him down.

Krwyn fights foremost defensively to protect the rasnged fighters at his back. He tries to deflect every attack, especially from the half-ogre. If the wolf gets in between, krwyn focusses his counterattacks on its face, espacialy the more vulnerable nose and eyes, more to deterr the wolf than to kill him on the spot.

 Krwyn's wolf  was  almost dead as it  gasped on the floor..  Kree was  slashing at the one, Elandra   had   softened  up , It would be  gone soon..

 Kree was  trying to  finish it  so he  could  break away and  try to  come around    behind the Half Ogre..

 Elandra's Blts  hit the  creature as Krywn's Blades move  and  cut. The  Half ogre was now having  problems  swing the  Big Blade near the  stairs   where the   roof  was lower..

 The Wolf   Kree was  Hitting hwoeled once and  a wet thud was heard.

 Elandra looked at the Half Ogre and then dodged out of the way of his big blade, she then got back into position.

 Elandra concentrated and sent another guiding bolt at the Half Ogre, then she used the readied hand crossbow and fired at the Half Ogre as well. She wanted to end this as fast as possible, she needed to help the woman.

coming up from the cellar, the    Drow  was  dazed  and barely walking.

 Ivy looked up from where he sat,..you people are makign   all manner of  friends..  his eyes  study the drowess...Grab  some of those  viels and  such and put  them on her.. she  can meet Kree...  Kree...has a way with   drow folk...

 he struggles..  to the  points of  swearing in elvish to stand....bastards , would it have killed them to have Kobold guards  with baton or something , as  guards..

 refusing to lean on his  bow, he  grabs a  broom and uses that to try and steady  himself and nods towards the dors.

Seeing Ivy struggle, Tyri moved up to him. "Come on...you can put your weight on me..." she moved to wrap an arm around his waist if he doesn't resist.

Lysander hands the drow off to Riven, to ensure he doesn't mistreat her.  He then offers to help Ivy.  "Let me help you, my friend.  Don't let pride get in the way of a valid offer.  I would rather be your crutch than have to carry you in my arms!"

  Ivy  will let them Both  help him, he does jerk  suddenly  as   Tyri  gingery  puts and arm around his  waist.


  ..somewhere..out in that street is some one watching and they tell tales   of how,  that ivy fellow had to be helped out  of    a whore house   by a woman and   his dwarven friend..and  right behind them  two ladies... yes.. fine  bard's  tale this will be..

"Aye, and they will sing it with gusto, as that is how Ivy lives!"

Krwyn keeps the wolf at bay, but he can't keep the half ogre away at the same time. A heavy blow from the creature's sword comes through his defence and hits him hard in his left arm, causing him to drop his short sword, while the blood reddens his armour in a fast tempo. His arm hangs limp from hios shoulder, while he fights on with his longsword.

  The Half Ogre smiles  at his hit on his attackers.. He  shouts  In   Pain  As  he  feels  cold  steel   cut across his  Hamstring  and turns  to see    kree  grinning ,  One wolf  dead, the other   dying.. the  Creaturen turns  to use  His  Blade on kree...

walkign through the streets... Ivy  is slower then he  would like. His   mouth set in  tense  grimace   each  time he  hits and uneven surface..

 the drowess, is not much better off  as she struggles along  with Riven

 they are finally rounding the  corner that will take them down the Main street.. even from there, the  Mage Lights  and Torches  , hint at a pile of bodies outside the Burning Branch.

 ..you...entertained some guests?

"Yes...and honestly...Tyri...I need you to help her..." she said suddenly, pawning the drow off onto the gyspy. "I am going to make sure it is all clear..." Without waiting for anyone to agree, Riven drew her swords and ran ahead and into the Burning Branch.

I have him, Tyri.  Please watch over the drowess, thanks.  Lysander slows down with purpose until he sees all is well with Riven.

  Ivy  grunts...If you want to go  with her..Go..if i cannot  walk  down the  gods be damned  street, i deserve what i get..

 The Drow   was  trying to   come around,  but of al intent and purpose, she looked like she was overly drunk.

 Riven is nearing 'The Branch'  the bodies  she sees  are   all Axe  Handles.. one  has Kree's  rune  carved into his forehead.

 Elandra sees the Half Ogre turn to go after Kree and she fires another guiding bolt at the Half Ogre, to try and take him down, and then see to healing Krwyn of his injuries.

With some difficulty because of his injury, Krwyn manages to hit tha half ogre in the back when the creature turns on Kree. He drives his longsword deep in the now unprotected body of the monster, wounding it even more severely.

Tyri grunted a bit as the drow was placed in her care, her arm coming around the drowess's waist. "No one is leaving you..." she muttered to Ivy.

Lysander did his best to get Ivy to the inn, seeing that there was no activity at the moment.

Seeing the bodies and Kree's mark made her feel a bit better. Quickly, she made her way into the Inn, eyes scanning the main room before heading back towards the cellar, swords still tightly in hand.

  Krwyn and Elandra,  Finish the wounded  half Ogre, it falls  face  first into the  damp soil of the cellar.

 Untie the Woman.   I wil help get  Krywn up stairs..

 Seeing Riven coming  down, he jerks his head to  the  chair..Aid  Elandra. and search the half ogre.

 as they come up stairs   and into the  tap room.. Kree  see Ivy, Tyri and Lysander  enter.About time you have arrived.. you look injured ..what is injured

 Ivy winces  as he finally sits in a chair..everything , inside..and..all my arrows...

Lysander says, "We got him here as quickly as we could.  There was a massive ogre and a real creepy guy who tried to take advantage of the lovely Tyri.  They will bother no one again, but we must heal some wounds.  I fear that this will not be the end of troubles here."

  Kree nods to Lysander...who is the drowess?

  then answers  Lysander,if i had it my way, Olant would be burned to the  ground.. the only thing stopping that, is there  are children here..you have to  figure, at least half of them are not  evil...

We found the drow in the basement, and against my better judgement, we brought her here.  Maybe she has information?  By the way, I think Tyri might be in shock a little.  Between her attacker and Ivy's damage, she is somewhat taken aback.

  kree looked  over to the Bar Keep, A pitcher of  ale  please, and  two bottles of Elven Gold...

 the barkeep looked  nervous..

 I'm paying for it!.. gods?.. we just killed that damn half ogre , you think you would  trust us!

  the   fellow  poured the ale, the two grils  got  tankers  and glass, bringing them over to the  table where  the two battered elves  sat.

 once things  are said  and done, i want two baths  drawn for the ladies....and  aye! I will pay for that..

 Kree handed  a galls of the wine to Ivy , Krwyn and  Tyri ...drink...

Lysander says, "I will go back into the shadows across the street and play lookout.  Yell if you need me."

 Elandra quickly went to the woman untied her and then checked her out and if she needed a healing spell she would use one on her. Elandra would then help the woman up the stairs.

 Once Elandra got upstairs and say Ivy hurt, she carefully took care of the woman, placed her in a chair, then quickly went over to Ivy and checked him out.

Tyri was quiet, staying close to Ivy, in need of some kind of comfort that she found in him. She still had smears of dried orge blood on her and in her hair. She looked to the drink when it was given to her and sighed a bit, tears welling up in her eyes but she stubbornly wouldn't let them free.

As Krwyn feels a bit light in his head because of his blood loss, he drops down quite unceremoniously on the nearest chair, trying with his right hand to stop the bleeding of the severe wound in his left arm. When one of the waitresses passes by with a goblet of elfen wine, he snatches it from her hand, drinking it in one big gulp to numb his senses somewhat.

Riven followed the others to the table and as Elandra messed with Ivy, Riven grabbed a cloth and moved up to Krwyn. Without asking, she pressed the cloth against his wound, applying enough pressure to hopefully stop the blood flow until Elandra could help. "I believe the drowess is the owner to the Arms...but I could be wrong. She was tied up and the only one in the basement there..." She said out loud to Kree though her focus remained on Krwyn.

"Thanks" he nods to Riven, "That would help stop the bleeding."

 Kree says  to Lysnader,do not go  far?  they know where we are, and they know   we have  come... If the Bodies   we left  about is not enough?  You will be standing guard  for nothing..so stay not  long, out there.

 Turning his attention to the Drowess,,,Now?.. Dark Cousin... I have never met the Owner of  'The Arms",, Tell me?  is it true  you are the owner, and  why would you be  tied  there... The Arms  has  people of all shades of  grey there?

 she  takes a  sip of the wine , the  serving girl  pours  before  Kree nods to the  girls  to move on.

 .. A rider  came  down the Kings  Road.. rumor has it he, bypassed the  Way stations, until  he reached  Boll. Then  came down the  Furman's chain... he had News of Arrows  Coming..So they  visited  my place  since we  have Underlings come and go there....They brought   an Ogre and threatened  My people   and took over.. they  questioned me  for about a day, when  they heard  of  a  ship being taken on The Storm..They assumed it was Arrows, so they began to prepare.

The  other woman could barely speak,..they came her...said.. we  were to...call them...i said,,no...

 A  bit of a frown turned on Kree's lips,well?  they are  out  two Ogre Kin and a pair of  wolves, not to mention the dullards that are lying in the street.

 Ivy  drank  his wine slowly,..Treat Krywn first... all my injuries  are still stuck inside me.. he's  leaking over the floor.!

 we shortened thier numbers  as we'll.. at least one  woman, and three  crossbow men. 5 or 6 others?..can't tell if they were   slaver friends , or  just stupid... at least three  more left the  Arms, short a  hand ... Lysander and  Riven had  some 'Axehandles' in the street as well.

 ..they know this much... that your were sent by  The Crown, and that you are going to  attack some  business  interests here...

 looks like there are a feel  enemies in court, that were not  taken care of in our last visit.

 Elandra nodded at Ivy then went over to Krwyn, and checked out his wounds and then looked around and decided to do one big heal. Elandra says," Up to 6 of us who are injured come to within 30 feet of me and Amot will give you Peaceful healing. It will take 10 minutes but it will heal up to 6 of us at once."

 When everyone who was injured up to 6 of them was within 30 feet of Elandra she began the 10 minute Prayer of Healing, she will use a second spell slot to make the healing stronger for everyone.  She prays, moves her arms and hands, and then when the Prayer was complete everyone who needed healing would glow with a Peaceful Golden Aura and then they feel the healing magic work. Once she was done she will see if anyone needed any more healing, she would have to rest soon, after this she was running low on spell energy.

  After the healing was Done, Ivy was still less the Comfortable. He   asked   for a Volunteer from the few  folks  who came back into the    Inn.

  I need  24 arrows.. the best  the   shop has.... here is  2 Gold  pieces... they the Shop if the arrows   are to my liking  I'll be back for more..tell them..if they try to cheat me?.. they will not like  me comign to see them...when you return witht he arrows, I'll give you   your pay...

 then, Ivy laid  the  14  arrows he had in his   quiver on the table and began to remove  the ehads, and  fletchings . Never been hit hard enough to break all my damnable  arrows.

 Kree  Chuckled, well?  we  eat and sleep tonight....  But.. I want some  information from  our two owners there...

 I am Vatill... as Nonny says  the   Underlings  are a thieves guild  first, but  we started to act against the slavers, when some of our  people's families  where being taken.... being Thieves, many of us do not have  families to start with, so...those that do became devastated  and the Guild   rallied  around them

 ..Your Golden Horn   has  taken us under thier  wing, they send  one or two higher  ranking  Thieves her to help and train...but they  end up caught   and dead after a while

Tyri sat beside Ivy, that feeling of guilt still clearly felt by the look on her face as she reached up and brushed back a few blood strained tresses from her face. She was still in need of a bath to get the dried blood off of her lithe form but in all truths, she didn’t want to be alone. Instead, she sulked, sipping at her drink, trying to push that scary moment from her mind, trying to come out of this stronger and more knowledgeable.

 Elandra moved closer to Ivy and then checked him and would cast A Cure wounds spell on him as well. She would see if he had any other injuries or conditions on him. She will say to Ivy when he complains," Let me make sure everything is alright Ivy please. I must make you at Peace."

  Kree chuckled,...you have brocken  ribs..alot of them!..what did younthink you would feel like?

 Ivy frowned...You had  broken  Ribs and you still feathered  Tou Horsemen...

 There was a wave of his hand...Only one or two?.. if  I can't pull a bow  with  one or  two broken ribs, i shouldn't be an archer.

 Ivy was  fussy to say the least  as the Bones  made thier way back  where they are supposed to be...

 Kree looked at the two ownersWell?  we got baths to take  and   rest to get... what  do you need  done  from us, before  we head up the Chain?

 The drowess said  as she leaned  back in her chair,we need the Burgermiester dead... they will replace him, of  course, but in that time  we  might be able to high out  numbers  once more..

 His eyes look at both of them,A  Vestes  ship  went up river the day before Last... we met them with a sloop  and defeated them... saved the slaves... and  Let certain allies  take the Marines and crew....why was there no warning from your people about  a slaver frigate this far North.

 Elandra smiled at Ivy and said,' Now doesnt that feel better." Elandra smiled and then listened and after kree said for them to get their baths in Elandra smiled and made her way to the bathing area with the ladies.

  Ivy  was still put out  about his arrows  and  Got the last of the  fletching's  and  arrow  heads  off the   broken shafts.

  ..I will make it my mission,  to cut the  fingers of the Fletcher  if he tries to pass off badly made arrows  on me...

 Kree nodded, Might  be  worth a visit to the shop if that is done... but? if the shop provides  goodly shafts, I might go there and   get another  dozen or  so,

 he looks  at the others still at the table,..That is  why we  cut  the plugs  of  flesh from  those  we  kill.. no only does in make certain they are dead...but  saves  us  an arrow  head or two, by not  jerking  them out...

 Elandra went into the bathing area, now this was normal for her bathing with other woman at the Temple and she had no problem removing all her clothes showing off her toned but very nicely shaped body, at least she thought it was. She would then get into a bath and relax and just open herself up to Amot and then Peaceful relaxing she was feeling.

Riven, satisfied with the healings that Elandra administered on Krwyn moved to take a seat, pulling her hood down along with her mask and raking her fingers through her short, shaggy, wheat colored hair. Noting Tyri, she gave a quizzical look. “Are you going to be alright?”

Krwyn feels the healing power from Amot coarse through his body as Elandra works her prayers. "Kree, we must have made quite a dent in their forces, but when the Burgermeister in on their hand, we can look forward to see the guards here as well soon. don't you think. Than we have only to wait for the man himself to show up."
He orders a good meal and a fine goblet of wine: "I better can enjoy fine food and drink before some new agitators show up."

Tyri sniffled a bit, very slightly nodding her head. “Just…coming down from…everything,” she said softly, still trying to get the man who tried to keep her in that room out of her mind. She took a deep breath, letting it out slowly before taking another drink from her wine.

Riven quirked a brow, studying the young woman and recognizing that trauma. With the others most likely not knowing what to do, she got up and moved to Tyri, gently placing a hand upon her shoulder. “Come on...let’s go get you into a bath. You are covered in blood and it will help relax you.” With her urging, Riven took Tyri to where the baths were, helping her undress and then into the bath. "I know what you went through must have been pretty scary...but you made it out and even helped with that ogre. You should be proud that you were able to defend yourself appropriately. I am sure that myself and some of the others can help teach you more self-defense." She gave her a smile and patted her shoulder before standing up to join the others at the table.

Lysander felt it was his duty to protect his new family.  He had not known them that long, but he felt responsible for them.  The cold of night didn't bother him, he was made of sterner stuff, and the quiet of hiding in the dark recesses across from the hotel gave him time to think.  To think of home, of happy, simple times, times that were no more.  He was positioned so that no one could come at him from behind, but he has a full view of the street for a long ways.  If someone came, he would know it and would determine action when it was appropriate.

   Kree  gets  up  and walks on the porch, and looked out over the  street  and waves  for Lysander to come in.

  the elf  returns, to the table...They might come tonight... they are short   two ogre-kin  and  a few parties of   'town watch'...i don't think they're  comign ehr
 tonight.

Lysander follows Kree in and is directed to where the bath is.  He stays in until his skin is wrinkled.  He then takes a quick nap and eats some dinner before talking to the others about defense plans.

Once she was cleaned up, Tyri came out in her typical outfit for travel despite some dried blood stains on the cream colored bottoms that she wore. Feeling slightly better, she moved over to Ivy and sat beside him, slightly leaning up against him if he seemed receptive to her wanting some comfort.

  Ivy   went to move his  arm around her, but thought better of it..seems like  I'll need to wait  until morning to  raise  my arms a bit higher.

 Kree snorted,Go get Cleaned up.. I'll go last.  we all need rest this  night...

 he looked at the Two Owners,You two will stay here  tonight and  tomorrow... My comrades and   I  will sort out  an  idea of  how to hande  the Burgermiester, or what ever the 9 hells  he's called here.

 the Two owners   left  for  the Branch's owner's  room. Tender? You and the Ladies   stay here  this night as well...Lock up.. you are done  serving to night

 As   per   their  routine. The Arrows had the top most floor  to themselves .. Kree went to the  back door that lead to the rear stair, he  shut the  door. and droped the   bar in place, then hammered a piton at the  bottom of the  door..after his  turn to wash up, Kree opened the door to his  room, checked the  lone  window and made  sure it  was  secure, then, settled   down on the bed, lookign  for   sleep rarther  then  the elven way of rest.

Lysander slept lightly.  He was awake early, as he was not comfortable with the sounds of the night here.  The people of this city were not a settled lot, and many would see them harmed.

Because of the healing Elandra delivered to them, Krwyn feels quite a bit better. His arms throbs still, but he can use it normal when dawn will come. Because of the adrenaline and the pain he is not yet ready for some rest, so he takes his time to search all the dead bodies in the inn, not only to se if he can find valuables, but also if there is anyting that would learn them more about what they are up against. He also searches the cellar where the owner had been held, and with permission of the owner only, also her private rooms to be sure there is no more danger inside.

"Can't sleep?" she asked, watching Krwyn as he moved about, a small smirk on her lips. Like him, she was not tired thanks to the fight and having to run between two places only to have to go back to the first.

 The night  was  quiet( more or less).. there were shouts  of  people agruing in the street for   time to time... the  town watch   walkign through the streets  shouting out the time  every hour.

 dogs and cats..and the  far off sounds of   creatures in the mountains, or the   hideous sounds  of the forest runners   drifting  across the  River  from the Karth swap.

  people  below  the Arrows  slep soundly, the  Inn was quiet and secure.

Tyri bunked with Ivy, not trying to do anything other than enjoy the comfort of knowing he was there. It was reassuring, especially since she had come down from the adrenaline high and that anxiety that had occurred when she couldn’t get to Ivy at first. Internally, she had repeated the words that Riven shared and with Ivy there beside her, she had managed to find some much needed sleep.

 Elandra cleaned up and then spent the rest of the time praying to Amot to renew her divine magic. Once her prayers where done she said good night to everyone and would head upstairs to her room, and she would then head to bed.

While he tried to sleep early, Lysander came back downstairs before Elandra goes up.  He doesn't interrupt her, as he knows the importance, but he will watch over her, and the room, whilst she is still there.

As she goes upstairs, he says, "Sleep well.  I will guard the room."  And he laughs.

   The  cocks were  crowing   at the houses  who had them... The  door  to the mainstreet was  open  it was still semi-dark as the lamp lighters  dosed the lights. The Mage Lights  still burned  as they always do, but there were sparse compared to   cities like Tou and  Ironmound.

 Kree washed up   gathered his things , to go down to the  Common  room. He placed  5 gold on the counter.....Stirabout, Bacon, eggs  and  bread with butter... Hot  Caffe and  Tea as well ... if  that does not cover it, let me know...

 The   tender looked at the  5 Gold  coins, rather  has he  seen so many at one time!

 Ivy got up with a groan, The human's  sleep thing, had its positives, and he needed that  to make sure his ribs  settled in where they were  supposed to.

 Giving Tyri a pat on the thigh, he said,..time for us to get up... we will have a long day today, if  I know  Kree. So we have to be ready to kill alot of folks... as he stood he    shifted his  waist and shoulder  , feeling a bit  better now...he would be able to swing a blade  of draw a string  down.

When Kree comes down, Krwyn opens his eyes, as he had been in trance for a good part of the night to replenish his energy and adrenaline. He brigthens when he hears Kree ordering breakfast. While he waits for breakfast, he does gymnastics to loosen his muscles, especially in the arm that was wounded in the fight yesterday.

Riven was up early, having slept a bit in her room but not much. She had been tempted to pay Kree a visit but had decided against it, figuring they all needed the sleep. She came downstairs, raking fingers through her shaggy wheat colored mop as her crystal blue eyes looked to those assembled. Offering everyone there a small smile, she took a seat near Kree.

Tyri let out a soft grunt when she felt Ivy’s hand upon her thigh. She loved her sleep but it was so hard to wake up. Hearing him climb to his feet and then missing his warmth, Tyri finally sat up with a grumpy pout, her hair a disheveled mess…until her gaze drifted up to Ivy. “How are you feeling?” she asked softly, shifting so she could fix her long hair.

  Ivy   winces a bit as he stretches,..Stiff and sore... i do not think elves were suppose to get that many things broken at one time

 he chuckles,But we need to get some food and drink..a  hard  day is ahead of us, and the population of the town is about to drop.

  The  Girls  from last night , took Kree's advice  and slept at the  Inn.. they served the stir-about  first, .. while the owner  brought two pots of Caffe.. as well as  c =milk and  sugar, and Honey

 the rest of the food  was almost finished  cooking.

 so?..good Lady, what can you tell us  about the  Burgermeister, or whatever he  is called in this  town.

 he is greedy and  lecherous , he was a slaver  at one  time, and business was good so he  settled here.. then he  worked his way up to mayor...he treats  towns  folk fair enouhg, as long as they pay thier  taxes and  don't talk badly of him...new folks...depednign on how useful they are...might come to hard  times.

Lysander gets some breakfast and caffe and then asks Kree if he could go for a quick reconnoiter around the area to see if there is anything moving this morning.
