Re: OOC and General Rules

In general, to put this childs spirit to rest;
-collect the body (or what's left) and giving it a proper burial
-finding the doll she was looking for would help
-giving her family a proper burial
-defeating Foxglove and his ghouls

Re: OOC and General Rules

OK, I am in a quandary.  Zer and Talis want to continue while Glum and Cat want to rest.  Tanrov's post was noncommittal.  Tanrov, rest or continue?

Cat - you do know you can hand the magic stones to other people and that they retain their magic for 30 minutes (or until used).

Glum - you did read how the aging is a permanent effect (the str/dex/con loss needing at least a 4th level spell to reverse).  What spells are you thinking about?

You would also realize, the Rogers was a dread ghoul and commanded the ghouls.  With him gone, the other ghouls could easily wander off into the night and cause problems elsewhere.  Including making more ghouls.

Re: OOC and General Rules

Given the overall situation Tanrov proposes to continue on.  "We need to waylay those ghouls before they can make more of themselves."

Re: OOC and General Rules

I'm thinking in particular of much greater use of spiritual weapon which is wisdom based and so not affected.

Re: OOC and General Rules

Ok, I will post continuing on.

Glum, yes that makes sense.  For now you might want to ask Cat if she will share. Her magic stones are perfect for this situation and in a couple of levels will be rendered mostly useless (due to higher level spells and abilities*), use them now would be my suggestion.

*By this I mean, Cat(and the rest of the party) will have cool higher level spells and abilities which will be more useful in a combat situation than throwing a magic stone.

Re: OOC and General Rules

And in point of fact, I need a seventh level spell and some spare experience points, or I need three fourth level spells and some components worth about 300 gold... which as a monk, I couldn't save up... so yes, let's fight on if we must.

Re: OOC and General Rules

I should tell you a story, I was DMing a game where some "demons"(who were hurt by jade weapons) were hunting in a city and were killing people who are alone at night.  Though they apparently weren't attacking members of the Unicorn clan.  I had a member of the Unicorn clan who had a jade weapon.  So what did he decide to do?  He wanted to assasinate another players nemesis, so went out at night, alone, dressed as a mercenary (not of the Unicorn clan) and left his distinct jade weapon at home....yes, his character was attacked and killed.

This module is sort of a horror movie theme and what 1 thing do you NOT do in a horror movie; go anywhere alone.

Re: OOC and General Rules

Ouch GM, I now have a 7-8 wisdom that smarts indeed.

QUESTION GM; Are these memories of Foxglove?

DM; The memories feature a woman with long red hair as wife, so it is not Aldern.  Maybe Vorel or Traver.  Tanrov, you might want to edit in an action or say something In character.
[Private to Tanrov: Rick, is your phone ok?  I have been trying to call and get no answer.]

Re: OOC and General Rules

You did a cursory search, finding nothing of value in the storage rooms.  A complete search will take alot of time.  Do you want to spend the time now?
