This is a place to discuss the details of this game.  Talis(fightery rogue) and Tanrov(Fighter) will be continuing, but it looks like Glum, Zer-wedula and Catessa Fallowfield are no longer online (their last logon was in Jan).  I am giving them till next fri to respond.  Until then, feel free to say hello.

If the original cast doesn't return, you may take over the characters (though you can rebuild them) if you want a premade backstory and solid group connection.

The general idea I have is to start at level 6, Pathfinder, the rules in  "RTJ, character creation, house rules (read first)" are a good starting point.  I am wanting to try redo-E8# to see how far we could go.  I imagine we could make it through at least Module 3, maybe 4.  This is not final and can be discussed.  Equipment is also a concept that is not finalized yet.

E8, where you stop leveling and start accumulating feats.  But instead, at level 8, you start accumulating gestalt levels(and feats).  I will try to explain it better later.

Wow, I mean wow.  I have an appointment in a 30 mins, but I should return today.  Cat and Zer are back, but I did hear from Glum and he will not be returning.  Welcome 1 and all.  Toss around some character ideas.

Talking about character ideas here's one; a half orc mage/druid mix.   Ha, Ha. LOL I'll just stick with little ole Tanrov or bring back Tanrov/Garth, the little boy in a man' body, right Cat, Zer and Talis.   More LOLing.

PF redo E8; stop advancing at 8th level and every 5000xp gain a level in a class.  No multiclassing beyond gestalt. 
After thinking about it, I decided against trying this.  I would like to go with PF E8; stop advancing at 8th level and gain feats every 5000xp.  If everyone is comfortable with Gestalt, we could try Gestalt E8.

Anyway, starting with 6th level characters, so we have a while before this becomes important.  See the character creation thread for details.

What is Gestalt?

Basically, Gestalt is a variant where you take 2 classes at once and take the best of what they have at that level.  It makes characters more powerful and versatile.  We would only do that if we play E8.
