I'm thinking, detonating all your remaining bombs at 1 time.  She will take splash damage from them, but you will take full dam, and probably can't be raised.

On the other hand, she probably will only take you to negative hp with her Aoo and your ring will protect you from the fall.  You might survive (admittedly in a dying state)...maybe.  I might even roll a 1 to hit.

Then I rather not kill Jan, I like him.

Zer realizes at the last moment that the swarm would stop at Jan.  You can voluntarily flub the spell if you want.  The spell will be lost, but the swarm will not be summoned.

Yes, a fire would destroy the tower, eventually.  The inside stairs and support beams are wood.  It would take awhile, probably a long while (in DnD combat terms), 10's of minutes to hours.

No, I got over the cold, it was persistent and my nurse auntie said it was probably because of stress and me staying up late.

I know this combat is drawing out, but I did warn you this BBEG has a fearsome reputation and I am playing her as written.  Well mostly.  I have only altered a couple of things, and her spell list/powers were not altered in any way.

About the wand and scrolls, good catch Tanrov.  I posted them in the treasure post, but when nobody inquired about them I forgot about them.  The scrolls are clerical so Miriam would have them.  Talis found a clue in the journal that is the command word and Tanrov has the wand.

The smoke will help you get away from being next to her, but as to running away.  It's hard to tell how fast she can move, but her fly spell speed is 60'.  So it will be difficult to run away.  Espescially if you try to carry Miriam.  It depends on how much she wants to kill vs how much she wants to get away.  The door is open.

Well, the issue is not that she can speed after, but can she follow after.

I assume frim the 4 square pic she is big, so if Jan and Miri can get through a window or door small enough...she;d be delayed I think...

The picture and her size are misleading.  She is a Large creature, but it's snake-like large.  So her diameter is no bigger than medium.  She could easily follow wherever Jan want's to go.  See msg 314.  Snakes are tricky and can squeeze into tight places.

Her human torso is medium sized.  Not to mention she can probably shapeshift.
