Sorry, I'm not much of a chatter.

So you have a plan.  I will give everyone a chance to respond to things.  I will post the next scene friday.

Re: Restart character and game discussion

Marching order:

Big dudes up front, Miriam and Jan in the middle, Cat in the rear.

That cool?

The marching order is fine, but who has light.  It's dark and most of you are human.  You need at least 1 light source.

I have made a bunch of sun rods that we can use and discard.

Hmm, I can also make some Darkvision extracts if given 1 minute.

Re: Restart character and game discussion

You all have eternal torchs, I just need to know who is using a hand to hold 1, or what other method you are using.  You guys are 6th level characters, so I will allow you some creative freedom.

Take as much initiative as you want, though I will try to keep a faster poster from completely dominating the game.

Re: Restart character and game discussion

I wasn't sure what they did, but I think Miriam probably used one, although she probably didn't use it to make drastic changes - her hair's probably back a solid color, her features look a little different, and she probably looks a bit younger, maybe 19 or 20 instead of 25.

...Okay...what about the other two? I only had five slots for Level 1 extracts...

Also, can I put my spear into my Handy Haversack?

Re: Restart character and game discussion

Sure, I would let you keep the spear in the central pouch as the spear doesn't have reach.

Also, if Miriam used the extract she could wear her armor and still be disguised.  She is also a local and more recognizable.  The others are not locals and shouldn't be known.

I imagine Talis would want to save the others to use in case you needed to make a quick getaway from a "loud" scene.  Moderate level characters tend to run into fireball and such, very noisy magic that attracts attention.

Re: Restart character and game discussion

Okay, cool...that means I should have two DS extracts left and a Jump with one free spot left for level 1 stuff.

Hmm...

According to the book, to draw something from a Handy Haversack, you use a move action...does that still count with spears?

There might be some length issues there...I might need to fall back on Improvised Weapons. >.>

Edit:...I need to figure out what to post... <.<

Re: Restart character and game discussion

OK, well if Miriam's equipment can be fully disguised, then she'll have worn her full compliment of gear.  She only moves at 20' per round when armored, though, so the others may have had to slow their pace a bit.  Although I guess Catessa also probably moves at 20', so maybe not that much.

Re: Restart character and game discussion

Cat tends to ride her dog, so she is usually fast (40').  But you guys aren't in any hurry, so 20' shouldn't be a problem, and while Talis can put on a chain shirt in 1 min, it would take more time (2-4 mins) to put on a breastplate - while inside a house of a death cultist who was turned into an undead.... mwahahaha...

I will post more tues, just want to give folks a chance to repond to things.
