Drawing her sword, Sammiya nudged Akihiro in at the monstrous golem-thing. When she got close enough, Sammiya attacked the creature, slashing once then twice.

Sammiya Koi rolled 17,16 using d20+8,d20+3. Attack 1 & 2.
Sammiya Koi rolled 6,6 using d6+3,d6+3. Damage 1 & 2.

Zer-wedula casts Grease under the golem, avoiding Cat if possible.  "It is a flesh golem, immune to most magic, and yet, in this case, perhaps susceptible to glamours of the mind," he intones.

Talis sighs and pulls out his spear, "Come on Tanrov, let's put this thing down, the hard way."  He will move over and try to poke some holes in this thing.

Tanrov nods at Talis, not realizing that in the heat of battle Talis isn't looking at him.  He drops his bow and charges over, drawing his scimitar as he gives a battle cry.

Miriam looks concerned at Cat's injuries, and once the shock of the golem's appearance wears off, she draws a healing wand and moves towards the druid's position at her best speed, though her best speed isn't tremendously impressive.

Logalog will move over to where Talis/Tanrov are, ask them if either has a strength enhancement, and hit the one of them with a spell that lends the strength of bulls.

Round 1
Sammiya Koi & Akihiro ride forward and attack.  The Scarecrow has reach and gets an Aoo, taking a swing at Akihiro - which Sam's Mounted Combat negates.  Sam misses twice, the things hide is very tough.

Catessa Fallowfield & Murphis both attack and both miss.  Since Sam already attracted the Scarecrows's attention, it doesn't get another Aoo.  They move away.

Jan rushes forward and takes Cats place.

Miriam moves forward behind Cat, drawing out a wand.

Zer-wedula casts Grease, (no SR on grease, rolled a 1) and the Scarecrow falls down.

Round 2
Talis pulls out his long spear as he moves and attacks, and hits.  The Grease distracts the thing enough that Talis gets a sneak attack off, 15 dam.  Though it doesn't take the full amount.

Tanrov moves forward and draws out his scimitar.

Logalog casts a spell (Bulls Str = +4 str(enhancement)) on Talis.

Scarecrow Golem uses his long reach and desperatly drags himself mostly through the doorway he came out of using the door frame.  He provokes Aoo from Talis(hit), Tanrov(miss on a 1), Sam(hit), Akihiro(miss) and Jan(hit).

Unknown Figures overhead; from over head you hear a loud >CLANG, crack, bang< as a bell falls.  It takes out some of the stairs and strikes right in the corner where the golem had been >BOOM<.  Wood and stone debris explode outward covering everyone with dust and worse.  The Scarecrow (who gets blown through the wall and takes extra dam), Tanrov, Sam, Akihiro and Jan all get hit by debris for 21 damage.  The wall into the room where the Scarecrow is, has be demolished.  Looking up you can barely make out stealthy figures moving over to another bell.  (It was an "attack" roll, not a ref save.  The 15x15 area where the bell is, is considered difficult terrain (x2 move cost and no charging).)

Tactical Situation
The Sacrecrow is defintely looking ragged and is still slowed.

Zer-wedula steps five feet towards whatever cover is nearby and readies a lightning bolt to cast upon anyone above he sees sawing at the bell ropes. "Perhaps I can get two," he muses.

Talis will say "Cat, Jan, turn into something that flies and peck their eyes out, after you get healed.  We can handle this ourselves."  Then move forward (with an eye to moving around him next turn) and attack.

Cat rolls off of Murph and starts a transformation into a bear, (sorry, can't think of appropriate frying animal. DM?) letting Murph free to attack if he can.

16:23, Today: Catessa Fallowfield rolled 21,11 using d20+4,d6+6. Murph - bite, damage.

Sammiya continues to attack the horrid scarecrow golem while trying to remain alert for falling bells.

Sammiya Koi:
rolled 15,22,21 using d20+8,d20+8,d20+3. AoO, then Attacks 1 & 2.

Seeing many of her companions injured by the falling bell, Miriam uses her next to last channel attempt for the day to restore health to everyone.

Round 2
Sammiya Koi & Akihiro ride forward and attack.  The Scarecrow has reach and gets an Aoo, taking a swing at Sam.  Somehow Akihiro zigs when he should have zagged over the rough terrain and Sam takes a critical hit from the Scarecrows thrashing swing.  She is flung off her saddle as Akihiro continues forward and attacks, missing.

Catessa Fallowfield & Murphis moves off Nurphis and changes into a large bear (40 ft movement, low-light vision, scent, grab with the claws, +4 size bonus to your Strength, a -2 penalty to your Dexterity, and a +4 natural armor bonus, 2 claw attacks(1d6+str) and 1 bite(1d8+str), lose the +1 size to ac and attacks, gain a -1 size to ac and attacks)  With no clear signal to attack, Murphis just hangs back with the bear.

Jan throws a bomb at the Scarerow and then moves back to Miriam.

Miriam heals everyone 10 hps.

Zer-wedula moves and casts Lightning Bolt as the figures are already going for the ropes.  However, he misjudged the range and his bolt barely hit one of the bells.  A loud >Clang< rings out and 2 of the figure lose their grips and start to fall.  One manages to grab on to a piece of the stairway, but the other is not quite so lucky.  It lands nearby with a thud, and to your amazement there is little blood.  It is a Faceless Stalker like the ones you fought in Alderns Townhouse (2.2 pg 4 or so), and it's still alive and fighting.

Round 3
Talis moves carefully through the wreckage that once was a bell and sticks his long spear into the Scarecrow.

Tanrov moves forward and swings his scimitar, which seems to have no problem cutting through the Scarecrows unatural neck, seperating his head from his body.

Logalog casts a magic missle spell at the Faceless Stalker, which stops moving and starts dying.

Faceless Stalker 1,2,3 1 bleeds, 2 climbs onto the stirs and 3 moves over to the next bell.

rabid vampire bats1,2,3,4,5 pop in out of nowhere and swarm in to attack.  These are small size and rabid...he's b  a  c  k.  Bats 4 and 5 become bat kabobs on Talis' spear.  Bats 1 and 2 attack Sam, while bat 3 attacks Logalog.  Only bat 1 hits and starts sucking Sam's blood.

From next to Sam a figure appears as the Cacodaemon bites her and she goes down.

Shosuro voice says "A bear, really Cat?  Were you absent alot when your Master taught your class to wildshape?  Where I'm from, bears don't fly.  Bats on the other hand..."  He sweeps down from above and lands next to Sam.  At first you think he has a magical cloak, but as he lands you realize the truth.  Shosuro has somehow turned himself into a man-bat combination, complete with nasty teeth and claws.  Could be a vampire.  And he picks up his sister, "Come sister, we have much to discuss..."

Talis will wait for Logalog to go, then drops his spear and moves toward Shosuro drawing his sword, "Alright Desna, if I ever needed some extra glowing power, now is the time."  His sword glows with a silvery light.  "Unhand her bloodsucker.  She might think you're worth saving, but I don't."

Jan snarls as he chomps down on something he tosses into his maw. With a sickening crunch, a pair a black feathered wings rip themselves from his shoulder-blades. They give a great big flap, flicking some unknown liquid off, before the Alchemist took to the sky.

Jan howls and laughs as he zooms up at the Faceless Stalker looking to drop another bell.

Sammiya had a quick impulse to attack Shosuro, but then thought twice about it. Shosuro might not be too far gone. She still might be able to save him. Feeling a wave of doubt over what she should do, Sammiya did not attack and just held on to her swords as Shosuro grabbed her.

[Private to Sammiya Koi: You do realize Sam is currently at -1 hp and is not in any shape to resist even if she could?]

Tanrov will scream out an oath stating that, "Sarenrae will see you dead for your crimes, Halfling  (racial insult here)."And striking out with his scimitar at the glowing red orb near him since he can't get at Shuhuro right away.

16:53, Today: Tanrov rolled 14 using 1d6+8.  To damage (I did at least 13 pts. of damage)

Cat as a bear, grumbles at the dark druid. She's doing the best she can. Since the scarecrow thing is dead, she heads towards the nearest enemy to attack, finding the bear kind of clumsy. If she can, she'll bump Murph, urging him to attack.

Round 3
Sammiya Koi & Akihiro goes down from the golem, wakes up thanks to Miriam…and goes down again from the Cacodaemon.  Akihiro turns his attention toward Sam and Shosuro, but at a word from the Dark Druid(Shosuro) he turns his attention toward the bear (Cat) and attacks, hitting for 6 damage and somehow he manages to trip her.
The trip was a very lucky roll on Akihiro’s part.

Catessa Fallowfield & Murphis are surprised by the unexpected attack and instinctively strike back, trying to drive off their allies companion.  The attack has thrown them off their groove and they all miss.

Miriam says, “ Wait a second Jan, ” and heals Jan with the wand before he takes off.

Jan flies upward, getting to 10’ away from the Faceless stalkers.
I am calling this a “run”, so you are really easy to hit, but move faster, hopefully they don’t have any ranged weapons.

Zer-wedula hits Shosuro with his Scorching Ray, but apparently the druid has energy resistance because he doesn’t appear to take much damage.

Round 4
Logalog casts a burning hands spell and all the bats go >poof<.  Shosuro hardly seems to notice it as he duck under the flame, making sure Sam is out of the fire.

Talis moves carefully back through the wreckage, drawing his sword, which starts to glow with a silvery light.  With a quick swing he almost takes off Shosuro’s head.  Only the Halfling skill allows him to duck and the sword only takes off some hair.  Even with it only doing a scratch, the glow seems to hurt him.  He grits his teeth from the pain.

Tanrov moves forward and swings his scimitar hurting the flying ball of teeth (Cacodaemon ), but it is still up.

Faceless Stalker 1,2,3 1 bleeds, 2 stands up and grabs a chunk of wood and 3 starts working on the next bell.

Shosuro bares his teeth and seems on the verge of attacking Talis, but recovers his composure from his near decapitation, "Nice try, but just hold on and my employer will be along shortly to kill you.  I've got business elsewhere.  But I have a small surprise, ready my master."  Shosuro, Sam and the small daemon begin to glow with a blood red nimbus of light.  As he picks up her sword, Sam and Shosuro vanish (teleport), leaving behind a set of bloody footprints.  At the same time, the Cacodaemon transforms into another, stronger Daemon.

As you think about it, Shosuro could be a vampire, but is more probably either some sort of partial daemon or werebat.

Transformed Cacodaemon now looks like a large red snake with arms.  It takes a moment to stretch out it’s arms and admire it’s new form before it looks down on Tanrov and speaks for the first time, “You hurt me, me hurt you. and lashes out at him, hitting him for 16 damage.

Tactical Situation
Sam is currently unconscious, somewhere…
Akihiro is attacking Cat the bear…
A Daemon is attacking Tanrov…
Somewhere is “Wanton of Nature’s Pagan Forms”…

As Talis' feels fear creepining up his spine.  He reminds himself, "Hey it's not a goblin ghoul," shrugs and moves to flank with Tanrov, tumbling as needed.

  After taking the sixteen point hit, Tanrov will brace for his next attack with his scimitar.   While he waits for Talis to get into a flanking position, Tanrov will then swing, "My turn..."
