Hey all.  I had the flu and then got hit by a car...it's been one of those weeks...

Assumption1: on a showboat, not a road, so everyone was heading in the same direction.
Assumption2: everyone was going to Vegas

Assumption 1 and 2 true: 1+1+1+7+7*2+3+3*3+3*1=39
Assumption 1 true only: 1

Assumption 3: There was a daughter for each of the wives since the next to the last line says daughters and not daughter.

Assumption 1 is the problem.  I just used showboat to go with the Vegas theme.  They were not on the boat with him.  Even if he was, I suppose they could have gotten off along the way.  No boats go into Vegas.  The best they could have done is gone down the Colorado to Lake Mead.  I probably should have chosen a different mode of transportation though...maybe a Harley.
