It is pretty old but I picked up a second hand copy of "Status: Deadzone".  It is a collection of short stories revolving around Necromunda and a great resource, especially if you are going to be throwing PC's in a hive (especially the underhive).  Not the best writing in the world but fun and interesting enough.

Gaunts Ghost is definitely my favourite, a good way to show the life os a slogging guardsmen in the worst situations from the lowly trooper to the Colonel Commissar himself. There are 11 books in the series, with my favourite being either number 3, "Necropolis." or number 10, "His Last Command."
