Re: GW Inspired Video Games

flakk seriously how bad is the psp game, I have been waiting for that to come out and now it sucks, what is up with psp all the games I have waited to get have been terrible does any one know of a psp game that does not suck Warhammer or not, I don't understand how PS3 can come out with such good titles and even the psp versions are not even close to as good and it seems they change the whole programming this is not a good sign, because Blood Bowl for some reason is not coming out on PS3 but it is coming out on the psp, chaos stirs in the french developers of Blood Bowl and they have been very slow working out the release and I heard there are some problems already.  Best bet is PC most likely or just go back to Fumbble online for free, anyone new to Blood Bowl Fumbble is giving "coaching" techniques for the game, each race, special players and so forth, they are a good bunch.

sorry here http://fumbbl.com/

Re: GW Inspired Video Games

A great PSP game!  A little short but well worth it.

There are a ton of good PSP games-
Burnout: Legends, Metal Gear Acid, Ridge Racer, Final Fantasy I, Lumines I and II, etc.....

The new PSP Go is coming out this fall and looks amazing.

Re: GW Inspired Video Games

In seconds the Prime Edict Flakk of hand held electronic duty to the Emperor is served.

Thanks again, can you just get your own website or cable channel for all that is GW, actually that would be sweeeeeeeet, they have a ton of gaming shows GW channel, painting tips in RL so you can see the actually work, interviews with the crew, some animation shows,

If people can stand to watch poker, let us geeks and freaks watch the big tournaments roll by roll with sick camera's set up to look like a real battle with some animation of gunfire, lasers, bombs, psych attacks during turns and movement..... sorry but a GW half hour or hour show would be awesome and has me drooling. I will stay off the boards for a few hours and remember to breath.

Re: GW Inspired Video Games

Yup it looks very cool!  I saw a video of some game play a few months back and it looks very fun, although from all reports it is less of a shooter and more of a hand to hand fight (missile weapons "stun" opponents allowing you to close and kill them so hopefully that is not correct and you can also kill with shots).

Xbox 360 and PS3 but no Wii?  Makes me cry a little inside.

Re: GW Inspired Video Games

From Snidesworth on the FF forums re. the old trailer out a few months back

"It's not technically the same game. The old, leaked video we all saw was made by a different development team. It got scrapped and what you see above is an entirely new endeavour. I presume it was "ballet of destruction" and SMG style bolters that got it canned.

Anyway, yes, much excitement to be had."

There might be hope for it yet then....although no Wii still makes me cry inside.  I'm not buying a whole new system for one game.  No way.

Re: GW Inspired Video Games

I'm hoping there is multiplayer or co-op involved somewhere, well that and the option not to play as a smurf.

An option to play as an Ork might just convince me to buy a new system to play.  Well I can dream can't I?=:)  Orkie dreams full of oomie stompin' and giving the Pansies a taste o' good old fashioned boot leather!

Re: GW Inspired Video Games

Think GW.s singleplayer games more and more turn towards the fact that Spacemarines are the bomb. I mean i really missed the presence of multiple sides in DOW2 outside of multiplay

Re: GW Inspired Video Games

That is actually the reason I haven't bought the game yet. Only space marines to play? Bah I'll pass XD.

Give me my Tau or my Guard and perhaps I'll consider it!

Re: GW Inspired Video Games

Cyanide did fallout 3 graphic engine, the game is pure fun, the designers played table-top before they even pitched the idea, and the hopeful drop date around before the American football fans work themselves into a frenzy should help, but they are against the two second attention span gaming core.  50/50 but I will be losing a lot of sleep.  What platform you going for Araxosh?

Re: GW Inspired Video Games

If the action mode part of the game is as entertaing as Chaos League was I'll be happy, the rts point and click play style worked quite well and the commentary was fantastic, here is hoping that the commentary will be done by Bob and Jim and Lord Borak is hanging around handing out his own famous brand of advice.

Thanks Araxosch good luck on the pitch, oh great tips for all races coming from the grand folks at http://fumbbl.com/
Instead of being pissed for being shunned for so many years they are more excited than most, great tips, do not unwrap the game until you have read, "The art of blocking".

Has anyone picked up a copy of Blood Bowl for the PC. If there is enough people we could start up a league.

LOL! That Blood Bowl game looks hilarious!

I don't play PC games really, but I might pick up a copy for my hubby if it doesn't come out on PS3... SERIOUSLY doubt it'll come out for the Wii, being that the Wii does very few games that aren't "family friendly" really. So crossing my fingers for a PS3 version. ;-)
