Anyone plan on running Rogue Trader;)?  I'd love to play.

Re: RT:GM Wanted

I would love to play as well, but I just do not have the time to run something.

Re: RT:GM Wanted

I would be interested in playing a Rogue Trader game as well. Though my game store won't be getting the book until the 28th :(

Re: RT:GM Wanted

As would I.  I'd hate to have this shiny book and not be able to use it in the pursuit of profit :)

Re: RT:GM Wanted

Well that is six of us which is enough to fill all the important positions. All we need is a GM.

We would also need a fair system to decide who gets to be the Rogue Trader and so in the spirit of the game and the setting I think its should be solved as follows. I have dibs on being the Rogue Trader...

Hmm, I dont think it worked. I dont feel any more dashing, heroic or richer. Let me check on something outside.

No, I don't see a large spaceship parked up there. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

Re: RT:GM Wanted

Well following that line of thought, spaceship or no I could always claim to be a navigator and instead of really having a third eye or the safety (relatively speaking) to navigate your ship I could just be a guy who got some glue and stuck a third looking eye on my forehead and tried really, really hard with crazy looking math and drawings to pull it off ;-)

Re: RT:GM Wanted

I don't have the book yet, still waiting. What I can discern from those free bits of information that Fantasy flight games gave us there are 8 careers:

Astropath Transcendent
Arch-Militant
Void-Master
Explorator
Missionary
Seneschal
Navigator
Rogue Trader

Some of those careers are self explanatory, but the others. What roles do they fill.

Void-Master and Arch-Militant sound nice in my ears.
