Appearance-
Severus stands about 5'8" tall and is of slight build.  He is usually clad in
fine clothes of various styles and colours, but tends to favour red jumpsuits
with high collars trimmed in black.  Severus has long dark hair that he
sometimes keeps ties back, and has grey/green eyes.

Personality-
Cold and calculating, Severus is a professional right down to the core.  He
often walks among the crew in disguise to make sure there is nothing strange
going on, and personally inspects many cargo deliveries to make sure everything
is as it should be.  Severus has no time for jokes and seems to enjoy few things
in life- expensive amnasec, fine clothes, and his work.

Background-
Severus Polaski was trained at a young age to act as a seneschal for House
Ventris like his father and his father before him.  Working his way up through
lowly ranks of adepts and scribes Severus excelled in his teachings and once
he began work he also rose to the top.  It was clear that Severus would be
accepted as one of the upper-echelon of House Ventris's ranks of servants.

Serving aboard the Archangel's Flight was the only life any of the Polaski clan
knew as far back as anyone could remember, and his duty in life was accepted
by Severus.  Traveling to planets without number the young seneschal in training
knew that life could be worse....much worse.

2 years ago Severus was job shadowing his father on a mission working with
another Rogue Trader house allied with House Ventris.  During warp transit
poorly maintained geller systems allowed daemons from the warp to invade and
nearly destroy the craft and all aboard.  Only the quick thinking of Severus's
father and his subsequent self sacrifce saved the few survivors.  Severus's
father was forced to open much of the ship to the void to expel the foul warp
beasts but he was also killed.

Eventually House Ventris investigated the disappearance of the ship and recovered
Severus and a few other survivors.  Severus received a promotion and was
determined to be as brave as his father and to be a loyal servant of the House.
