RTJ Information

Welcome to The Wolf's Head Tavern!

The Wolf's Head is a tavern hidden in a forest, a forest that exists throughout dimensions and worlds, realms and planes, and is accessible by anyone.

This game has been created for freeform interaction between characters. There is no story to speak of, and no character sheets to fill out. This is your area to interact with whoever you might choose.

Simply provide a character name and a brief description, and you'll be welcomed in.

A few rules:

The Wolf's Head Tavern is a no-fight zone. Any attack will be nullified, and the attacker catches any damage that would have been dealt themselves. If you want to fight, take it outside.

Hopefully, this will generate some little sideplots and collaborative writing efforts between people. If your character meets someone and you want to go off and have an adventure, feel free. If you ever need a unique thread opened, then simply send a PM to any GM and it will be set up for you.

In the same vein, if you wish to play more than one character, you're more than welcome to. Again, feel free to send a PM to any GM with the name of an additional character and it will be added to your character closet.

Please have respect for other players. Everyone is here to have fun, so please allow that to be the case. All are welcome to this game, regardless of skill or ability, please treat everyone equally.

As you'll notice, this game is not flagged Adult. Please, therefore, refrain from any extreme violence, language and certainly refrain from any adult scenes.

Re: RTJ Information

A few guidelines to consider when making a character.

~ Please, no omnipotent, godlike, or completely over the line characters.  Have sensible limits to your abilities. If you do not have some limits you take away from those that are playing more 'human' characters. Magic is fine, but have a limit or a cost.

~ Please remember to make dynamic characters.  This is not a combat based game. Although, if you want you can go out into the woods and fight what ever you wish, but in the tavern it is peaceful and based on story and interaction.  Remember that the most interesting characters have flaws, quirks, and other traits that make them more than another face in the crowd, or too perfect and impossible to believe as a character.

~ This is a freeform world, that takes fantasy, sci-fi, and everything in between to make a unique experience. If you want to make a character that is 'Lone-wolfy', or that looks down on others, that is your choice but you may find you will have a disappointing experience.

Although it is not a requirement in any way, I would like to recommend considering the "Mary-Sue Litmus Test." It is a good way to judge the dynamics of your characters.

============================
If one of the moderators finds that your character is ruining the experience for others, or is pushing these limits, you will get a private message asking you to reevaluate.  If left unchanged, all the moderators hold the right to remove you from the game at their discretion.
============================

The Wolf's Head is becoming quite popular and the cast has grown to quite a diverse group.  We are all having fun and always like meeting new players, so come and join the fun.
