My wife and I have had a pretty good weekend, but it has kept me busy and prevented me from posting.  We went out to a belated Anniversary dinner to an incredible seafood restaurant on Saturday.

Wow... our guests didn't leave until after midnight last night. I had started getting stuff ready for dinner the night before, putting a dry rub onto the pork shoulders and cooking up the base of the fruit soup. Got the pork shoulders on the smoker at 7:00 AM and took them off at around 6:30 PM. The pool was a balmy 90-92 degrees the whole time, and everyone had a good time.

My family went to to an air show and Marine's display at a local park and was almost hurt by a V-22 Osprey that flew in too low and blew down trees on top of them as it tried to land nearby.

I've eaten too much, have too many left overs in the fridge, and am way deep into the 'I don't want to go to work tomorrow' blues.

Yeah we are all fine. My brother was even interviewed for fox news but he was an idiot so they didn't put him on. At least not by us anyway.

I think we get the same Fox feed, but I wasn't paying close attention.  It had impressive footage of the plane though.
