Re: OOC

In reply to Tyre Slag (msg #21):

Ivan is not in your group, he got there by accident, my fault. Try to ignore him.

Re: OOC

should I be waiting on Signarlieb von Hutten to post a response to Bosper? or should I just carry on and let him pop in later?

Re: OOC

I suspect he will not respond, but I keep going without him. Check the private threads, there is happening.

Re: OOC

The journey should be fun to get to know each other, at very least.

Re: OOC

Umm, Whats the distance to our destination from where we are at?. What public transportation is here?, iam guessing the coachs but are there canal boats also?. And what would be the cheapest form of transport. ?

Re: OOC

I added a map about the area in the documents topic, there's Krugenheim and Königstein on the map, so you can determine distances, presuming that someone knows about the area or buy a map.

The cheapest way is on foot or with horses but usually there are merchant caravans going from bigger towns such as Krugenheim.

Re: OOC

Hmm, ok, ladies and gentilemen, we need to deceide if we are to take a river boat down to the city before the river turns or walk or as some wish to buy/rent horses and ride there. Now are going to do a vote? or just let everyone get there as they can?.

Now my toon likes the walking idea or river boat, horses dont suit him where he sometime travels, so he wont be buying a horse.
What do you guys want to do?.

Re: OOC

I say we have a vote here in the OOC thread and let the Gm summarise it in the IC thread, something along the lines of "The group decide to head down the river".

Ivan is for taking a boat, but will hire a horse anyway unless it is very expensive. His reasoning is that if the shit should hit the fan, he'd rather have a horse to flee with.

Re: OOC

Welcome welcome! I'm still here, just waiting for everyone to get ready. My vote is for the river, then by horse.

It will be 3 days.

We got a noble removed from the game, I'll manage it in the IC thread.

Re: OOC

I've been thinking about where I'd like Axel to go if this game were to last for a good long time and xp was abundant.

I have three lines that he might go down. Currently Axel is fresh faced from basic training, he's youthful and eager to see the world but he's also very people oriented, so:

1) Axel sees a lot more of the world becomes hard bitten, experiences the death of friends, the horrors of the world etc. Next career = sergeant or veteran possibly captain, possibly champion

2) Axel sees a lot more of the world and loves every minute and wants more. Next career = vagabond or Outrider and from there scout and explorer.

3) Axel sees a lot more of the world and loves every minute but isn't bothered about seeing the world so quickly and spends a long time in the pubs and inns telling tales about his travels. Next career = raconteur and from there rapscallion possibly duelist...
This one's my favourite currently..

Any thoughts on where your character is headed?

Re: OOC

To an early grave with liver problems. ;)

I haven't got any major plans for Ivan yet, beyond getting enough money to purchase a farm or such. Mercenary would make sense, but peasant would aswell.

Re: OOC

Fairly straight forward for this toon, on down the priest career but it will be interesting to see how he ties it in with the wild nature side of his cleric.

Re: OOC

Don't worry the GM is here. I've read your posts, but I'm at work right now and I don't have the adventure itself here with me. I'll post at the evening (GMT -1 here), to your innfindings, gossip searchings and such, and also I'll update the date information and description about the town. Until that you can chit-chat, work on roleplay, relationships between characters etc.
