Re: Character Creation, RTJ, & Character Sheet

New Rule – Hit Points

When rolling your hit points after the first level, you will roll only half of the hit die for your chosen class.  To that result, you will add the other half, plus any other modifiers that apply (i.e. CON modifier).

Example–
Erky Timbers is a halfling druid (level 1).  His hit point total is 10 because his Constitution score is 15 (+2), and the hit dice for the druid class is 1d8.  Upon reaching Level 2, Erky furthers his druidic career and rolls 1d4+6 (half of 1d8 is 1d4, plus the remaining 4, plus his +2 CON modifier).  At worst, Erky is looking at a minimum gain of 7 hp at Level 2, which is well above the average druid.  This makes Erky proud, as he believes himself quite exceptional.
