So Ante must be sea talk for drunken 3 way?

Description
These ragged, leather boots look like they've seen better days. The leather has obviously been dyed black, the toes are horribly scuffed, and the soles are worn. However when put on the are quite comfortable and fit nicely.
The magic of these boots is two-fold. First, they allow the wearer to "kick" open chests and doors at a distance of 10 feet. The wearer may attempt to break locked chests and doors, gaining a +4 circumstance bonus to the check.
Finally, the wearer may also preform the bull rush combat maneuver from a distance of 10 feet. The wearer gains a +4 circumstance bonus to CMB, but cannot move with the target.
Construction
Requirements Craft Wondrous Item, open/close and bull's strength; Cost 4,000 gp

Inspiration - Various. Link kicks open chests in many of the Legend of Zelda video games, which I always thought was interesting. The benefits of opening things at a distance in D&D is obvious, although the application didn't come to me until after playing with a good friend for several years. I think he ultimately inspired me to create the Kicks. His approach to the rules can sometimes be overwhelming, but we always have fun.
When I first revealed them in-game, I described them as having the initials G.R. scratched on the inside, a tribute to my friend's legendary character, Gregory Ryans.

I think Sawyer's player would have no trouble here. What Jon is asking Sawyer to do is root out who is behind the problems that have been plaguing the voyage. That means talking to NPCs, searching bunks/racks in the berthing areas, etc. Someone on the Wyvern has tried to kill Stan a couple of times, and now Brogan. It stands to reason that Sawyer may be next.
Think outside the box. What would Sawyer do? Get creative—take a little control of the narrative here. That's something I know you can do!

I'm not sure if I'm making Clementine super clear. She's not asking about her amnesia--she doesn't know she has it. She wants to know how she came to be married to Stan, and most importantly to her, how she lost her wings (and other demonic abilities).
