From the 19th until maybe August 1st, our internet connection will be questionable due to moving.

I'll be mostly off-line for the first two weeks of August, for the Pennsic Wars SCA events, give or take a few days in either direction.   I might be able to sneak online for bit once a day, but I'm not positive.

March, is going to be a VERY weird month for me.    I have a family trip all of next week, plus a few other social engagements that might take up a lot of my GMing time, not to mention a lot of my playing time.

I still might get a few posts in, but please be prepared for a very hit or miss schedule for the rest of the month.

I apologize for the trouble.

I'm going to be heading out of town starting tomorrow evening until Sunday.  I don't think that I'll be able to update during that time but I'm hoping to get one more update in before I leave tomorrow.

By the way....

 I'm leaving, probably in a week, for the Pennsic War, an SCA event in Pennsylvania.  I'm not positive when I'll be leaving, but it'll be sometime in the last week and a half of July (not very helpful, I know).
 I won't be back until at least a week into August.

The Official dates of the even are from July 19th, until August 3rd.  I might not be there for the entire time, but I'm going to try to be there for most of it.

 I've been threatened, on pain of random smacks about the head, not to be on my computer for that time.
 I probably still will, because I'm a rpol junkie, but it will be much reduced.

 I'm not leaving permanently, unless I get hit by a bus or something, so I'll be back no later than the middle of August.

Sorry everyone.   I just learned that my grandmother passed away, and I'll probably be leaving in a day or two to fly out of state for the funeral.

  It was fairly sudden, though not totally unexpected.   Still, My posting will be a bit off for the next week or so, due to travel and distraction.
  I'll need the break from reality, but might not be up to posting too often.

This is scott carson's wife, greyghost passed away last night.

Oh no!   I'm so sorry, ma'am.   You have our deepest sympathies and condolences.

I know we're just "gaming friends", technically, but greyghost was a very good friend to us, and will be missed dearly.
Thank you so much for taking then time to tell us, as I know how crazy and busy everything must be right now.
I just woke up, and will be going to my grandmother's funeral in a couple of hours, so I know how crazy things will get.

Sorry to hear about Scotts passing.  I enjoyed playing in RPOL with him and I know that he will be missed.

My condolences to both you and Greg, on your grandmother.

Thank you, Bard.   I'm back, and it was a good weekend.  I went through many old photos to help make a collage for my grandmother, and it was a very good way to say goodbye.

And greyghost will be missed, too.  He was one of us, after all.

Same from me. I didn't get the chance to interact with Scott much, sadly, but he will be missed. My condolences to you both.

I'm going to be going into surgery tomorrow and I may not be able to get on line for the next week.  I'll try but I can't guarantee anything.

I have a vacation coming up, and wanted to let everyone know.

Technically,  I'm on vacation starting today,  July 22, until August 10th, with the event starting on the 25th and ending the 9th.

Of course,  we're WAY behind in our preparations so we might not leave for a few days, perhaps a week.  letting everyone I game with know my status was, of course,  one of the preparations I forgot about.  *smiles sheepishly*.)

  I won't be back home until a week into August.  That being said, I'll have a smart phone on me, as well as some limited access to the Internet (since most of the medieval enthusiasts there are also huge nerds like me, there's an Internet station there, covertly hidden,  for people who can't be without Internet for personal or business reasons)

I'm heading out on a vacation starting on Friday, and going until the middle of August or so.  And I might be very busy with preparations until then.
