Well, I know that I'm not the most elegant woman around, but there's not need to be insulting, Dan.   *grins*

Re: ~ OOC Discussion Round 2 ~

Actually, I was channeling Mutley ... But Mel Blanc did tend to use much the same muttering for the Looney Toons, so I'll let it slide.

Ah....my most profound apologies, my friend.  I'm embarrassed that I didn't recognize the little guy.
I'll go watch soom Boomerang Channel cartoons in penance.   :)

Gosh I miss Saturday Morning Cartoons.

Re: ~ OOC Discussion Round 2 ~

It's expensive, but if you get the Boomerang Channel when you're home, you can see them all.
(though the D&D cartoon is on Disney, I think)

Most of them are really painful now, but I still love them.

Re: ~ OOC Discussion Round 2 ~

So do I. The Batman/Tarzan Adventure Hour, Shazam/Isis, Spider-Man And His Amazing Friends. Wow, I could go on. Cartoons are not what they used to be, that's for sure.

Re: ~ OOC Discussion Round 2 ~

Oh wow, someone else who remembers Turbo Teen! (That cartoon and Widget the World Watcher are probably at least partly to blame for my being here now.) Saber Rider, Thundercats, Captain Planet... they don't make 'em like these anymore.

Re: ~ OOC Discussion Round 2 ~

It's pretty funny to watch old saturday morning cartoons on YouTube.  They really did seem better back them but its fun for the old nostalgia.

That and seeing cartoons before they became half hour advertisements for card games.

Re: ~ OOC Discussion Round 2 ~

Well, back then many of them were half hour advertisements for action figures (He-Man being the most egregious example)... up to you to decide which is better.
