Choose die colour option

This is what I got on my mobile phone when rolling dice with a new color option selected.. This information is listed at the top of page after rolling.

09:31, Today: Hand of Fate rolled <darkblue>9</darkblue>,<darkblue>13</darkblue> using <darkblue>3d6</darkblue>,<darkblue>3d6</darkblue> ((3,1,5,3,5,5)).

Seems as expected to me... is there a problem?

I think what Jhaelin means is that the color tags are coming through twice, so you both see the colored element AND an extraneous tag around the colored element...or at least that's what I'm also getting on mobile, now that I went to check.

You do get them both on the dice roller screen.

However I assume that's intentional because it allows you to both see the color results and copy & paste the output text from the dice roller into a post and carry over the colors.

Though it does look like the tags doing the coloration on the dice roller screen could be adjusted slightly so only the number is getting color coded on the dice roller, and not both the number and the color tags.

So you'd get

09:31, Today: Hand of Fate rolled <darkblue>9</darkblue> using <darkblue>3d6</darkblue> ((3,1,5)).

Instead of

09:31, Today: Hand of Fate rolled <darkblue>9</darkblue> using <darkblue>3d6</darkblue> ((3,1,5)).

Such a change may improve clarity for new users who are unfamiliar with the RuBB code as this behavior is slightly different then the system generated color coding results as presented in the post composition interface, though I think it may mostly be an aesthetic change.

But that's not what he's getting...

Note he's rolling 3d6 twice in one roll: these rolls are separated by a comma which is not coloured.

09:31, Today: Hand of Fate rolled 9,13 using 3d6,3d6 ((3,1,5,3,5,5)).

This seems like expected behaviour.

True.  I cut it down to a single dice roll for my example, but I would also assume the punctuation isn't intended to be included in the color coding based on the way the tags are generated.

Without feedback as to what exactly the issue Jhaelin is having with the output (as it seems to be working as intended, based on best guesses) it's hard to do more than speculate.

I think we're speculating on what Jhaelin meant, I'm certainly not clear, and we should wait for clarification.

But individual colouring of the numbers/dice only is debilitate, as is the visibility of the colouring tags so that it can be pasted into messages.

debilitate = deliberate ?  Curse that auto-complete !  :P

I understand now that the coded portion of the output is deliberate for "copy/paste" functions.  I did not realize that, as I was not expecting it.  Thank you all for your clarification on the matter.
