Request: Go-To Page Number
Not sure if this is possible or not, but a fellow player and I were discussing the trials and tribulations of searching through long threads, and what would make them easier...

The ability to 'go to' a specific page within the thread would be amazing. Often, I know roughly where what I'm looking for is at, page-wise, but it's without fail somewhere in the middle of the thread and I can't get to it quickly without either clicking back (or ahead) one page at the time, or doing a 'Show All' and then having to scroll a lot (easier for some people, probably, but for me that requires paying more attention than glancing quickly at the top of each page until I find the one I'm looking for).

If picking a specific page wouldn't be possible, maybe having the page links auto-populate whatever the 'middle' page of the thread is as a start-point option, as well as the beginning and end would be doable? That would still help a lot.

Re: Request: Go-To Page Number
As long as the thread hasn't exceeded 999 posts it can be open in full, at the top right of the thread is the page number listing choice, usually look something like "Page 4,3,2,1 etc [all] [bottom]".  The 'all' button opens all the post in one page as long as the thread has not exceeded 999 posts (it might be 1K, but I've never let a thread exceed 980 just in case).  The just Alt+F and search the whole thread at once.

Yes, I'm aware that works if I want to search the whole thread for something.

That doesn't help me get to a specific page that I know I'm looking for any faster than the existing way, however. :)

Re: Request: Go-To Page Number
It's not as easy as a dedicated UI element, but at the end of the URL when you're in a specific game thread you should see msgpage=39, for example.  That number on the end is the page number you're currently on.  If you manually change it to can go directly to any page you want.
