When you use the dice roller on the responsive site, it includes a bit of code that I believe identifies the roll. If you copy and paste that into a message in a game, it shortens that to a period or other text which is fine

But, if you paste that into a private message within a standard post, say to the GM or another player, that code disrupts the brackets for that private message and makes it public to all.

Not a huge deal but definitely not working as intended.

Are you doing it manually or by using the "insert a private line to" drop down list?

The drop down function seems to automatically insert the second bracket, which is needed to close the private line.

So your PM portion should look like



(Private to GM: (roll=1111111111.1111.111111))


I had to replace the normal [  ]  with (  ) as rpol wouldn't ignore the normal "private to" code even when enclosed in [code][/code] tags.

I used the insert a private line drop down.

The problem comes with Multiple  rolls in the same private  line.  The Private Line code appears to terminate the private line at the first Square Bracket it sees.  That said, I am still using the 'traditional' interface, rather than the responsive interface.

Odd.

Short of manually deleting the second closing bracket, I can't get the private line code to break on the responsive site.

Mentioned it on the main dev thread, but it'll break if you (or anyone) uses the "old" site.  Basically don't mix dice linking, private text and rpol.net.  Should not be a problem if you're using r.rpol.net.
