Re: Garstone Shore

I don't know where Lyra's got to...

Now is a good time to make a point - when you're interacting with the world rather than just each other, I will allow roughly a day for everyone to post before I move things on. This is because I'd like to keep the game going at a decent pace. If you're just talking amongst yourselves I'll wait until you're all ready before moving on.

Re: Garstone Shore

Yeah.  I usually let the DM know before I get going, but I wasn't able to.

Well, I'm back so I'll be catching up.

Re: Garstone Shore

You can post them IC in a private line to me, or in this thread, either in a private line or in public.

Anything OOC beyond actions or rolls to go in this thread, however. (Your note about defense was fine in IC thread for example)

I'm breathing a sigh of relief that you both realised that lethal force isn't called for...!

Siliwen is a sane, rational person, and hurting others unecessarily is not her way of doing things.

Re: Garstone Shore

Glad to hear it! Sane and rational have not typically been characteristics of the tabletop group I run.

Re: Garstone Shore

I see a game as a mini slice of life in a different setting.  People need to mostly work together to get things accomplished. Even Heros can't always do it alone. and woe to them that think they can.  Evenough goblins in a mob can take doen just about anything. and dagger in the eye slit of a well armored knight, kills quickly.

Re: Garstone Shore

You'll fit in just fine here ;)

The players in the tabletop game are slowly learning to think like you do - the odd death here and there has certainly helped.

Re: Garstone Shore

Death by stupidity helps some see the error of their ways.  Some never seem to learn but in the game I play death by stupidity has penalites to the next character they create.

Re: Garstone Shore

How far away from the poachers are we? Is this going to take a few days, or can we come and go from the woods to the town in no time?

Re: Garstone Shore

Just in case anyone was waiting - in party conversation there's no need to wait for everyone to post. If someone is a little late they can just reply to several posts at once. It's only when actions are taken that we need to be polite and allow time for others to state theirs - in which case it'll be a day or so.

No word from Milo, so I'll move things on - it seems you're all quite happy to head out there without much prep other than fetching your gear.

Yeah that's what I'm talking about, though I wouldn't include the bits saying 'backpost', I'd just describe what happened.

Re: Garstone Shore

I went ahead and got a post up.

I got hit with a double wammy, first stomach flu, now cold, though I think I've got strep or some other infection of the throat because this is the worst sore throat I've ever had..

I'll try to be around.  And thanks, I hope to start feeling well soon.

Re: Garstone Shore

Thanks.  I'm feeling better today.

I was going to post yesterday, but I was just too tired to convey what I was thinking into the post, so I settled with juts waiting.
