Re: Day 4/5 - Imperial Base/Sienar Complex

“We head for Sinya then. Perhaps it’s best if just the two of us approach her without the others. If we all start walking around the city we’re bound to attract attention” Narik signalled for the driver to stop. He then removed the last of the stormtrooper armour “find somewhere to lie low we’ll contact you on the comlink when we have the location of the ship”.

More gently he looked to Kala “are you up to a meeting with Sinya?”

"Yes. I'm fairly beat up, but I will be fine."Kala replied, not mentioning she'd need a good amount of time to recouperate. Sinya was more important right now, and getting everyone off world was another concern.

Re: Day 4/5 - Imperial Base/Sienar Complex

The pilot sets course for the clinic.

The speeder arrives there after a circuitous flight through the city in an attempt to throw off pursuit.

It looks just as it did the last time Kala and Narik were here.

Once the speeder pulled up to the clinic, Kala stepped out, her wounds still sending pain through her body. She had something she needed to do though, so the pain could wait a bit, at least until she accomplished her task.

At the clinic Narik followed behind Kala. The soldier kept close and offered her his arm to steady her. On the way to meeting Sinya he spoke quietly to her “I would suggest that you present the box to Sinya unless you don’t feel up to it”.

Kala nodded to Narik. "I know. I should be the one to deliver the news anyway, since you didn't know him." Kala replied, as she walked through the doors.

The receptionist looks up at their entry. "Ah, Ms. Jorn. How may I help you today?" she asks.

Kala smiled weakly at the receptionist. "Is Sinya in? I need to see her about a personal matter." She asked, as she did her best to keep her composure.

"Yes, she's working on charts at the moment. After your last visit, she left instructions that you were on her 'allowed visitors' list, so you're welcome to head back there now."

"Thank you." Kala replied, as she nodded, and began to head back to the back area of the clinic. She was trying to think of how best to break the news to her, since the bothan had been her mentor for quite some time.

With ample reserve Narik took the back seat and let Kala lead him. After the shock of learning she had connections with the Jedi he believed he wasn’t going to be shocked by much else today.

Sinya looks up as they enter and nods. She senses something, though, because she puts her datapad down. "Yes, we can. What's wrong? For one thing, you like hell, but I don't think that's it."

"It's been a rough day." Kala replied, as she walked foward to the woman, and handed her the package. "Krey'lis gave my friends this to give to you." She said, as she bowed her head slightly. "I am sorry. I wasn't strong enough to do what needed to be done."

Re: Day 4/5 - Imperial Base/Sienar Complex

Sinya remains calm as she takes the package. She opens it carefully to reveal a code cylinder and another smaller package. She connects the code cylinder to her datapad and then uses headphones to listen to the message.

"Well, I understand... at least.

"Krey'lis believes that he will not survive the fight,"
she says.

"He implemented the escape plan. There's a transport waiting to take you off-world. You'll need to go to the very deepest level of the city. I'll copy the map for you.

"I probably won't see you again, but if you make it back to Ryloth, know that you have an ally here,"
she tells them.

Then she follows through on her words and makes a datadisk for them.

"The contact's name is Leller, a human. The code phrase is 'A ranger's duty is never done.'"

"Thank you for everything Sinya. I just wished it could have ended better." Kala replied, as she nodded to the other woman. She would have to train herself, to become stronger, more adept with the force, so that this would never happen again.

"Krey'lis clever. He knows how to escape. Don't count him out just yet. And don't blame yourself. Krey'lis made his own decisions," she says.

"Good luck. You'd better get moving."

"Good luck, to you, and your husband." Kala replied, as she turned to go. They would have to get the others, and get to safety. She hoped that the force was with Master Krey'lis, and that she would meet him later.

Re: Day 4/5 - Imperial Base/Sienar Complex

The Zeltron and Twi’lek pair talked of much that had been unknown to Narik. The soldier felt he could only grasp at the meaning of what they discussed. He was a soldier trained and understood that some things we on a need to know basis. Narik had no interest in learning more of their hidden agenda. His experience of the galaxy and war left him feeling any seed of rebellion or resurrection of the dead Jedi order would result only in suffering and pain for many of the galaxies inhabitants.

Narik let Sinya hand the datadisk with the map to Kala. This was something Narik would see to the end as he was a man of honour but he would require much persuasion before he believed it was the right thing to do. It sounded as if they had now become traffickers of illegal Force users, not something he would have planned to do.

“We should get away from here as soon as possible” he urged his Zeltron companion. To Sinya he offered sincere thanks “thank you Sinya”. He then sent a comlink message to their speeder to let them know they would be outside in moment with a new destination.

For one reason or another, Xander remained outside. When the others come out, he's leaning against the wall with his hood up and hands tucked in his longcoats pockets. The man is breathing rather heavily and finally catches his breath after a moment, perhaps putting himself in a bit of a mild force trance to remain calm. He looks over as the others come out and pushes off the wall."So...."

The jedi jumps back into the speeder after nodding to Kala. He looks out, seeming lost in his own thoughts while rubbing a spot where he was hit gently. The man winces a few times then turns his attention back to the others.

The other party receives a signal with the instructions and directions to the meeting rendezvous point.

And the pilot of the speeder takes off to the destination he's given.

On the road Narik was calm. To be on the move with their course plotted and a plan of action formed he could concentrate on playing his part. Being a cog in the machine that held the group together. As they flew through the street Narik took what he suspected would be his last look at the city of Kala’unn, it had been a memorable visit.
