Re: How to think about clans

I have two weeks of very intense work that will consume most of me.  My goal while Koigan is visiting family is to get Havaland started.  Bolstered by NPC's, we have some great characters for what should prove (I hope) an interesting adventure.  The real question, from my perspective, is whether I should open the game for two more.  If you have some friends who you recommend, have them contact me to join.

Taletha, that's awful, at least no one was hurt.

Re: How to think about clans

Do the police have any leads?  Did you have pictures?

Looking around my own home, if that occurred, I'd be hosed.  Surface as you can.

Re: How to think about clans

Looked around my place as well, and I realized, my electronics are ALL that would be taken... that's the only nice stuff I have.

Re: How to think about clans

Nothing but electronics were taken, which is a blessing since draws were not opened and contents scattered.  You can insure stuff so it's more just inconvenience.  The police don't really want to know, they've got bigger issues.

I'm pissed mostly because my daughters scared in her own home now.  Hopefully that does not last too long.  You think you're doing better by your family by moving into a better suburb but there are always bottom feeders lurking.

Re: How to think about clans

While the example of what just happened between Edrich, Shih, and Commander Ashwann will give you a better feel for this culture, the situation I'll be throwing you all into will take you away from class conflicts.

Welcome to our final new player

Welcome to our fun Korbin.  At this point, I think we're good to go on players.  We're priest/druid heavy, which actually works very well.  I feel very comfortable throwing very bad things at all of you. :D

Re: Welcome to our final new player

Hi Korbin.

Everyone it looks like we may be able to get over the class system, which is great, but my apologies now for the royal pain-in-the-arse that Taletha, paladin of almighty Apollo will probably be if we are a scattering of gods heavy.  All praise and power to the god of the sun.

Re: Welcome to our final new player

Thanks for the welcome.  And Taletha, we can argue the merits of Artemis over Apollo as we go romping through the wilderlands...

Re: Welcome to our final new player

That will be lovely. Be sure and walk out front to alert the local fauna. Welcome, Korbin, I'm Havaland. I'll be your basic, unassuming, unprepossessing fighter type.

Havaland...I like you already.

;)

Looking forward to playing gang.  I've played with Xandros in another game and enjoyed it - and I appreciate the opportunity and the welcome.  I should have my character ready to go by tomorrow.

The fist of Apollo is happy to walk out front Havaland, but there will be no need for arguement Korbin.  He that provides the light is surpreme.

She carries a long bow with 1000' rangea and is none to concerned with orcs...and she looks great in brown leather.

Ok, it's a flamin' shame to have her out front for the Orcs. Better?

J/K Taleka. Can't let anyone that looks like Uma get hurt.

I was thinking more along the lines of Kate Beckinsale from her Van Helsing role, but Uma's good too...

Re: Welcome to our final new player

The bow, however impressive, only fires 155mm exploding arrows and makes an incredibly loud sound when shot, burying its owner 10' into the ground.  If she ever manages to find an arrow, she'll have an incredible first shot.

I think there's something known as game balance - unfortunately.
