I can do 150 feet/round. :P Run seems to be a wasted feat.

Close, but not quite.

Normal running is:
3x mv if heavy armour/load
4x if light/medium load.
5x if have the Run feat and light/medium.

Of course, monk/barbarianish increases to base speed make everyone happy  :)

Speed is great. I have a Monk with a 55ft move speed. When we came upon a Sharran cult's secret fortress in the wilderness and we had to stop their end-of-the-world ceremony soonish, I hustled back to town fetch the Cormyrean army to help. Then I went back. :D IIRC, the distance was about two marathons in six hours.
