I was going to carry everything unless other objected, putting the coins into an empty sack and tying the bundle of weapons to my back or side (whichever was easier).
I figured we'd "divvy" it later. This message was last edited by the player at 11:12, Thu 13 Aug 2009.
I'm back! Interview went well I feel, hopefully it'll get me a job as I'm so skint right now it's depressing! And have fun on your LARPing weekend Thaniel, I really want to try it but I doubt my girlfriend would get over it haha. She doesn't even know about RPoL.
I watch lots of videos on Warhammer LARPs across Europe, some of them look so cool with literally thousands of participants. I'll add it to the ever-expanding list of things I must do one day ;]
My wife is a gamer, so she's okay with my on RPOL, as long as I don't ignore her too much.
Granted, she might look askance at some of my stranger characters, but she knew I was strange when she married me.
*grin*
Things may become a bit tricky now as I'll obviously be moving down to London, and not sure when I'll be able to get my PC transported down. This could mean eratic posting depending on when I can get to a net cafe over the next couple of weeks but fear not, once I get settled in we'll be right back on track.
Congratulations! Where will you be in London? I'm a Londoner myself (used to play silly buggers LARPing on Hampstead Heath) but have not been there for three years! This message was last edited by the player at 17:31, Sat 15 Aug 2009.
Not sure where I'll be living yet, probably the Richmond area as that's where I went to uni and I love it there. My new job is on Oxford Street though. What made you decide to leave London for the jungles?
Ahhhh...I've lived in Staines and in Oxford, as well as NW London. Along the river is grand.
Why Brazil? Better jobs for me and for my wife (permanent, government jobs so really permanent; plus I'm an entomologist so Brazil...you know). Better standard of living (we are building a house now instead of being priced out of the housing market in Oxford), even more so with the current economic situation. I am no longer commuting an hour a day (though driving through the Cotswolds has its plus side). Plus my wife is from here.
similar here, Man... moved to Newfoundland from Saskatchewan (northern) for easy lifestyle and b/c Renee is from here (good folk to work with in both locations, fortunately), but the 5 min commute is a big sell :)
Apologies for the delay, been a very hectic week so far. I guess this is the eratic posting I warned you all about ;] Bear with me I'll get on it later tonight.
