I usually see Latin words used for languages like Draconic or old tongues, so it was odd to see Zane use it for Common (always English) when 'water' is much more obvious. As for why it matters, I wondered what language we'd need to use to talk to him.

Assuming he was a kid raised by animals, I'd probably expect such a character to use their first language, one of the real ones like Chondathan or whatever.

When you guys are all agreed I'll move us along, I think basically that means waiting for Abbas to concur as he seemed to want to investigate the monolith. Alas it seems Fareeda IV lasted but one post. I think it's fairly clear that finding replacement players for existing characters isn't going to work - Thaniel you are the exception to the rule! I gave her every opportunity to make the character her own, rules-wise and rp-wise, but no luck.

Oh well, 8 is a nice number and we'll stick with it. I'll NPC her for now and leave a few more days in case it's an RL issue, then I'll make her an official NPC and have her keep up with the group until I decide to murder her in the most degrading and horrific way possible forever more.

Who is wounded and who has the best Heal score? I put my HP in my bio-line. My Heal is only +0 (I can increase that with levels).

I have two ranks in Healing, oddly enough.    Not enough to make that big a difference, but enough to make the attempt, eh?

Abbas is the same Krogan. All hail the +2.
