Ch05 - Eburacon's Songbook - Part 2

Israth's father is a shepherd who watches over his own, and three other families' sheep and goats.  His fields are basically east-north-east of Crim, closer to the village than the burial site was.  Travel by moonlight is easy even though the sky has clouded up a little (still mostly clear).

Activity here has wound down for the night but you can see smoke wafting up from the longhouse hearth.  You bang on the doors like barbarians and it is answered by none other than Israth himself.

Re: Ch05 - Eburacon's Songbook - Part 2

A youthful man opens the door, his eyes adjusting to the darkness outside. "Um, can I help you all?" he asks curiously, having not been expecting visitors.

Outside the doors are two men and a woman.  They are dressed in the style of the Triplefang and are accompanied by a large floating eye.  I will leave it to everyone to describe their appearance.

Re: Eburacon's Songbook - Part 2

"Are you Israth?" Holly asks, as she stands in the light of the lodge so he can see her. She had placed some greenery in her hair and is twiddling with a twig as she stands besides Glumr and Farden. "These are my cousins Glumr Triplefang, Farden Triplefang and I am Hollykahn Triplefang. We were sent by Leon, as he thinks you might be of help to us."

Although she is slightly battered in appearance, Holly stands proudly for Israth's inspection, the only think worrying her is that they had got so used to the Eye, that for others it might appear very unusual. "Oh, and this is a travelling companion of ours. He once had a connection with the Harpers, and does play rather lovely music at the most opportune moments!" WIth that, Holly makes a slight bow to the Eye in recognition of its help in battles past. She also hoped the mention of the Harpers might tweak Israth's curiosity.

On cue the eye summons up a quick brass fanfare out of thin air.

Re: Eburacon's Songbook - Part 2

"Yes, I am Israth Triplefang. Are you all friends of Leon's?" he asks curiously, looking at the eye with a curious glance. "The Harpers, you say? Hm, how... interesting. Oh! Where are my manners. Come in, come in!" he welcomes, ushering them inside the house. It was starting to get cold, and letting all the heat out would surely upset his family.
