Somewhere between 12 and 16 because the 11 is a miss and the 16 is a hit.  You can roll damage on the second one.

In reaction to the flames that dart towards her Sunna lifts her left arm to shield her eyes and hisses in pain as the flames burn her skin.

She steps to the side and slashes at the wolf in front of her.

Battle of the Burning Wolves round 2

"Careful Sunna..." Holly cautions before letting her sling stone fly, but there was still too much commotion in front of her to hit her target.

The metallic spider bathes the third wolf in streams of cable.  The cables wind and twist around the dark, fiery wolf, binding it securely.  Glumr takes advantage of the wolf's situation to fire two shots at the beast.  The first shot passes trough the flickering edges of the monster's somewhat ethereal body, but the second shot strikes solidly.  The arrow comes aflame  shortly after lodging into the wolf's chest.

Sunna steps confidently up into the front line to hold back the dogs.  She deftly slashes her perfectly balanced blade, lightly cutting the beast.

Trumpets sound.  Scottfard's Charge rings off the mountainside.  Farden smiles through the pain as the opening notes of the familiar song fill his ears.  It is the moment he has been been waiting for.  Sadly, his sword does not find its mark.  The burning wolves are difficult opponents.

The center wolf makes several attempt to bite Farden, but the warrior's defense is too well planned and executed.  Wolf 1 lets out a deep growl and a fiery blast.  Wolf 3, somewhat immobilized, choses to follow suit.

Sunna and Farden each need to make two REF saves (DC13).  They will take 8 point if they fail the first save and 7 if they fail the second.  Successful saves will each still cause 4 point apiece.  Farden receives a +1 to both of these saves.

Thanks to the eye's magical music, all to hit and damage rolls by the Triplefang will be at +1.

I need round 2 actions for everyone.

14:04, Today: Farden rolled 9,18 using d20+3,d20+3. ref saves.

Farden gives a scream of pain as the fires burn him. The warrior is left with flames lcking over his clothes but still standing, barely. He makes another attack, but the pain is clearly interfering.

14:10, Today: Farden rolled 9,9 using d20+6,d8+4. attack, damage.

Seeing the the wolf he shot is snared in a web, Glumr draws and fires at the wolf engaging Farden.  At the sound of Scottfard's music, Glumr's confidence boosts and he lets two arrows fly.

Glumr rolled 20 using 1d20+10. Arrow 1 @ Wolf 3.
Glumr rolled 16 using 1d20+10. Arrow 2 @ Wolf 2.

Glumr rolled 7 using 1d8+2. Arrow 1 Damage Wolf 2.
Glumr rolled 7 using 1d8+2. Arrow 2 Damage Wolf 2.

OCC - Accidentally submitted the dice roller form.  Was using the automagic form complete stuff in chrome and was really wanting to shoot wolf 2.  You know how you start typing and is shows you a pull down of the previous things, I meant to change it to wolf 2 but accidentally bumped the enter key and the form submitted.

Holly focusses her attention and calls forth the powers of the wilds to paralyze the burning wolf.  It growls, struggling in a battle of will against the druid, but loses out.  The infernal creature is held motionless for the time being.

"Do something quick.  I can't hold it for long," she warns.

Sunna, when you retreat you still have a standard action left.  I would suggest either falling back to E4 behind Holly and healing yourself with a Cure Light Wounds (Don't forget your spells.) or stepping back to G4 and healing Farden.  You're both in bad shape (I believe you're at 4 HP currently and Farden is at 3 HP), but if Farden goes down there will be no one holding the front line and the party's entire defense will collapse.

Battle of the Burning Wolves round 3

Sunna steps back and heals Farden just in the nick of time as the burning wolf in front of him clamps its teeth into the warrior's flesh again, burning and tearing at his side.

(Really?!?  Geeze.  That wolf had a miserable chance to hit.)

Wolf1 struggles in a battle of wills with Holly, and Wolf3 struggles in a battle with weblike cables.  Neither can move or act.

Farden is healed 6 points and promptly takes 6 more points of damage.

Holly steps up to G5 and casts a healing spell on Farden to keep him from collapsing.  Glumr's shots take the middle wolf down.  Its eyes go dark and the ethereal flames that lick around its body flicker and go out.

Farden receives 7 points of healing, bringing him up to 10HP.

"Thank, ladies." gasps Farden as the healing keeps him on his feet. Then stepping forward, he drives his sword through the brain of the wolf Holly had paralyzed.

Full-round action, coup-de-grace on the paralyzed wolf.

Battle of the Burning Wolves round 4

The lilting sounds of healing from Sunna's pipes mix well with the floating minstrel eye's dramatic fanfare.

Farden is glad that Glumr picked off the center wolf, allowing him to concentrate on a deathblow to the burning wolf Holly was magically paralyzing.  The wolf howls balefully, but falls with a THUD right where it stood.

This leaves only one tightly webbed, but still struggling, burning wolf.  It comes close to escaping but can't quite get free.

Not that it maters too much, but Glumr goes before Farden.  Are you holding your action until after his attack?  Either way, the wolf is not finished off.

Ack... for some reason, I thought he was going to do another coup de gras for some reason.  But yes, Glumr would wait for Farden to attack thinking he would do that.

Glumr waits to see if Farden deals another death blow.  When he does not, Glumr draws another two two arrows and fires them off at the web encrusted fire wolf.

Glumr rolled 21 using 1d20+10. Arrow 1 @ Wolf 3.
Glumr rolled 5 using 1d8+2. Damage from Arrow 1.
Glumr rolled 12 using 1d20+10. Arrow 2 @ Wolf 3.

Re: Battle of the Burning Wolves round 4

Holly readies her new spear and loops around to J5 to attack the webbed wolf.  She thrusts the head of the spear deep into the beast's side.  Her attack is quickly followed by Farden's slash and Glumr's shots.  Between these three attacks they finish off the last wolf.

You stop to catch your breath a little after the assault.  Glumr asks the eye to cut the music short so he can listen for other enemies.  Things seem quite and still.

You're a bit nicked up.  Sunna is lightly injured after her healing.  Glumr is still lightly injured from the previous battle.  Farden is under half health.

What's your next move?

"I say we rest and heal until morning, then press into the cave."   Glumr asks the eye, and his companions, if the eye can stand watch and sound some horns if danger is near.  That way they can all get the most rest without needing a watch and heal as much as possible.

Glumr does an examination of the creatures, looking for any marks, known or unknown.

OCC - Full nights rest to heal, which means if someone has middle watch, then they wont heal?

Re: Battle of the Burning Wolves round 4

The eye needs to sleep just like everyone else.  He can take a shift if you'd like, but in the past he's only gone on watch with other people.

You're in no hurry today, are you?  If you take 4, 4 hour watch shifts everyone can get at least 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep.  Or you do 2, 8 hour shifts with two people on watch at a time.  That boils down to the same thing anyhow.  The only problem is it's summer (shorter nights) and it might be tricky to sleep in the daylight.

There are no Krammishir or Krammishir-like marks on the wolf husks.  The corpses are different from normal wolves in many alarming ways.  There are chunks of the physiology completely missing and the flesh is... not exactly meat.  It smells like hot blacksmith's iron.  Sunna shouted a warning about them during battle.  Maybe she knows more.

After doing a little bookkeeping I discovered that I let Sunna cast 4 1st level spells today  (goaded her into it, actually).  She only has 2 per day.  My bad.  Sorry.   I'm not going to take any away, but we'll assume that she used her 1st level spells for tomorrow already too.  She still has 3 0th level spells, though.  Want to cast some Cure Minors on Farden?

OCC - my thought was the eye is not injured and interrupted sleep wouldn't penalize the healing.  It's whatever... If Glumr can get a good nights rest, he will be healed when he wakes.

OOC: Save the cure minors for when one of us inevitably drops to the negative.

Farden is in no shape to continue without a chance to rest, and the others look in less than top condition. He suggest they find some defensive position in the rocks and rest up to heal. "If there are more, we don't want to fight them now. If there aren't we can wait a little before raiding the cave."
