Re: Out of character - non-game chit chat

Here's a character sheet I made...  It uses codes for formatting.  Looks best in anything other than Internet Explorer.

Note: Use at own risk. I dont really want to support everyone with the code stuff, but if you get stuck here and there, feel free to ask.

Edit: I cant get the code to display so you can copy it... If you want it.. PM me your e-mail address and I can send it to you.

I am on leave all of next week, but not really going anywhere nice, just Bristol and a house hunt.

I doubt the hotel they have booked me into will have any decent access to web, so my posting will be limited from 3rd to 9th August.

No worries.  One thing I know about D&D and that 1st level characters are fragile and need to be babied a little.  That's why I sent a little help.  I'm not going to swarm you guys under (yet).

Sorry that Holly not been posting as much as I'd like.  Work really got hectic over this week, and probably next.  Still no broadband!  Not having much luck there.

Will keep up as best I can, and ensure that there is a little input everynow and again.  If we hit combat again, I'll keep up with short but prompt posts if i can.

Certainly been an interesting start for us.  Glad we didn't have to get mcuky with them gobbo's.

Re: For the record...

I thought it's like this:

Person A and Person B are walking somewhere.
Person A sees something that draws their attention.
Person B notices the item without Person A saying "look what I see" due to body language, direction they are looking and the such.

Otherwise I would think the GM would have made that section of text private, such as if you saw a sign in draconic.

Guess we'll let fritz make the call.
(I mean not in the jerk ass way of I'm right and you're wrong, but I think both our interpretations on Fritz's post are valid.)

But why wouldnt Snow point out things she saw to her party anyway?  :P

------------------------

All that being said, I think this is an awesome game.  We're so playing very indepth characters instead of just the typical hack and slash for exp and items.  The family drama puts a interesting spin on things.  We're soo like a real family. lol.

Have a good weekend everyone!  :)

Seeing and hearing stuff

I've been typically employing a Dungeon Mastering technique by which I choose a player, mostly by whim, to see or hear things that require no spot or search check.  (Spot is used to counter hide.  Search is typically used to examine details or actively look for something not obvious.)  I think it's more fun to roleplay than just always saying everyone sees and hears everything at once.  This way someone notices it first and can point it out to others.

That said, I didn't envision that the party would reach such a point of bickering that they intentionally hide their discoveries from each other.  It leaves me in a tricky situation.  On the one hand, Snow has valid reasons for not pointing the pit out to Glumr.  On the other hand, there's no reason that Glumr would've missed this obvious feature.

In this case I think I'll let Glumr see the pit somewhat after Snow saw it.  I'll try to be more careful dispensing knowledge in the future.  Sorry for the confusion.

Re: Seeing and hearing stuff

In reply to Snow (msg #45):

I recommend analyzing Snow's reactions a bit.  All other personality traits aside, if she wasn't intrinsically curious and didn't have a taste for power and adventure, she wouldn't be training to be a frost sorceress and she'd never have signed up to do any of this stuff.  You'd just be the wistful cook at a Triplefang camp.

Sure, be the super-ego counterpoint to the id-kid Glumr and play up the part.  But deep down inside, its all a ruse.  Protest staying, and finally make the excuse to provide overwatch while Glumr searches, only because his foolhardiness will surely get him killed...

But thats not the real story--you need him to go down there because you might not be ready to let yourself (yet), but you just gotz to know whats in that creepy pit.  You spotted it because it stuck out to you; you just knew something was odd about it.

Play it however you want, but thats my take on it.  As-is, the reactions don't explain why you'd ever have left the Triplefang cooking fires.

Re: Seeing and hearing stuff

Snow has her reasons for the way she behaves, i've already had discussions with Fritz over them.

There are reasons why she came, though if you think back, the 'adventure' was only suppose to be for 2~3 days, and it's notably extended, so she's just a little homesick at the moment.  She also takes a very dim view on Glumr's jump in first, think of consequences later view point.  She's conceded to his desires and got cut up good in the last fight to prevent having him swamped by trogs, and he still hasnt learned his lesson.

I believe on the last fight not only was she not appreciated for trying to help but a dim view was taken on her standing in the front line, when she's so ill suited for melee.  (It was to keep Mord from being flanked, and Glumr from being engaged in melee while he had a bow in his hand)

At this point if he wants to run off on his own, he needs to learn the consequences of doing so.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Out of character, the player thinks its bad to investigate an encounter designed for six characters with three.  That usually doesnt end well.  If someone is going to jump off a bridge, i'd be foolish to follow.
Re: Seeing and hearing stuff
It sounds like you are thinking about it as a person playing a game more than someone in that situation.  There's no reason to believe that the situation we are in is geared for 6 people just because we are in a group of 6 characters.
Just saying.
Likewise, I dont know why your character would feel unappreciated in the situation, or looked down on for joining the line.  There was no mention of hint of that from my point of view.
I mean I could say the same of Glumr in the goblin ambush situation.
But more so I think everyone is just expected to do what they can in a combat situation.  Plus there will be much more time to give praises and talk about close calls once the adventurers are safe at the end of this quest from the characters point of view.  If anything, Glumr is not intentionally doing that, but maybe just needs to be reminded that a little thanks can go a long way.  He's not used to working with groups as he's spent much time alone on the out skirts of town during his adolescence.
From Glumr's point of view, it's not that he's brash.  It's just that's there's nobody else to do what needs to be done.  And in a situation like this, he feels that the more knowledge they have, the better off.  He tends to almost over think situations before he acts, but likewise is not one to wait and loose the initiative in a situation.
By not checking the pit out, considering that it's not really any more risky than their current situation (in checking the triangle structure), the team could be making decision down the road off of impartial information, which could cause them to make wrong decisions.  So in his mind "We need to know, and if not me, then who will go?"
Likewise, from Glumr's point of view, his cousin Snow seems to expect hit o follow her lead, yet in situations such as talking to folks they meet, she likes to move to the back and go unnoticed and not direct the conversations at all.   She also seems to not back Glumr up in social situations, which gives him an idea of how she must feel about him and his lines of thinking.  And then likes to contradict most of his ideas without being willing to really talk things out.
Glumr wants to air all of this out as he really likes his cousin, but feels like this is the thing that should be done in more comfortable surroundings as this adventure has been fast moving for the bunch.  He just doesnt get why she doesnt seem to have his back except when combat is happened (he's just happy that she does do that, so she likes him enough not to want him to meet an untimely demise).
I expect these issues to fade away as the group becomes less fragile and more comfortable with how the others react to situations.  It's a lot of fun playing characters how we are... It adds a lot of depth to them allowing us to play them really in character and less as a player.
I agree with Mord on how Snow is acting.  But realize that she is being played similarly with a lot of background stuff effecting how she handles situations.  But once again adds realism into it as many times in life when you have a job to be done with a group of people, there is always mixed enthusiasm and conflicting ideas on how a situation should be resolved.
It is what it is.
If Fritz thinks i'm misbehaving, and i'm out of character, or worse the character is unplayable he can tell me so and i'll scratch Snow and make a new one.  He's the only one that sees all the facts and is closest to impartial, I dont have more to say on this, since it's counter productive.
Re: Seeing and hearing stuff
I think you misunderstand...
I think you are playing snow great.
I like that she and Glumr but heads.  While he doesnt always get her motivations, he believes that her line of thinking is what she believes is best course of action.
It's just character interaction.  These are situations that make the game more like a real situation and less like people playing a character.
So dont feel like this stuff is making the game less enjoyable.. I think it makes it more so.
I mean if we all thought things should be done the same way, the game would be pretty straight forward and basic.
Please dont feel like I am upset or frustrated with how you're playing.  Glumr from time to time is frustrated with Snow, but from player to player I dont feel that way.  You have reason's for your character's actions and I dont feel like any of them are 'to spite me'.
So please play on. :)
Already did a detect magic, that's what caused Snow's little altar save throw thing.
The whole room was essentially magical, making the detection of non room magic difficult to impossible.
Mord
I talked to Mord's player today and he's going to drop out of the game.  I'll run Mord as an NPC for now, but we probably want to add another player to take up the role.  I'm not exactly sure how to recruit a new player.  As for the character, I'm pretty flexible.  The new player could take over Mord the way he is now, or change him around, or make a totally different character with legendary strength.
Thoughts?
Wait... the whole reason I was suggesting snow do this is it's a diplomacy check, which is charisma....
Meaning, she'd have a knack at such things our characters would observe.
I thought we were just going to roll for that check and the 'gift' would be just whatever...  from the abstract.
If we roll play it (according to Fritz) it's not a diplomacy check, it's the GM discretionary if the proctor likes it or not.
All that being said, I'm still (or Glumr is) leaving up to Snow.  ;)
flanking
Here's the order things went.  One dog moved and attacked.  There was no one threatening from the opposite side, thus no flanking yet.  Next (let's pretend the wildcat was still fighting after the first attack) the second dog attacked from the side.  There was no one threatening across from him either.  If snow then moved to where she planned to she *would* be flanking.  She'd get the +2 and the sneak attack damage.
Assuming the wildcat still survived, the next round dog 1 would get the +2 for flanking, but the second dog wouldn't because there's no one across from him.  The flanking rules have always been a little screwy.
Re: flanking
I thought once something was flanked, it was considered flanked for anyone meleeing it, not just for the two that triggered the condition...
(shrugs)
If that's the way it is, that's the way it is.
Though if were really going to quibble, the dogs arent listed in the initiative order, so i figured they acted with Snow.  If that's the case.
Jeff would move in to set up the Flank, no flank bonus but he didnt really need it.
Snow would move in after to finish the flank move, so she could get a sneak attack.  The Cat should be flanked for Mutt's attack at this point?
Snow CAN NOT get into position to flank the cat by Mord (at least not without trigger an attack of opportunity for the cat, which i'd rather not do).  If she does, the cat gets an Attack of opportunity if she takes more than a 5' step unless she's withdrawing and giving up the ability to attack.  Even if she gets to M12, she's doing it on a withdrawal and cant attack, and wont be able to flank that cat.  So regardless of how the flanking situation works out, she should be at M 08
Re: flanking
I think flanked used to be a status in 3.0, but I could be wrong.  In 3.5 the rules just say this:
When making a melee attack, you get a +2 flanking bonus if your opponent is threatened by a character or creature friendly to you on the opponent’s opposite border or opposite corner.
As for drawing AOO form the wildcat when you moved, your dogs had already taken it out of the fight.  You could move to flank Mord's cat unhindered.  One of the great things about that 10 foot reach weapon you're using is you can maneuver around enemies without entering any squares they threaten.  Handy!
You guys finished off all the cats in round three.  You can now stand in any square you like.  :-)
All this talk about flanking aside, I wanted to say that I liked how you played Mutt and Jeff.  It felt like they acted like dogs would.  Entertaining and nicely done.
So, is Mutt long, quiet, and intelligent while Jeff is small and scrappy?
In other news, do I have any trouble regaining control of my horse? And why this sudden dearth of IC posts?
Who was that one guy with the sword?  Where did we drink that one beer?  How much did I pay for that magic lamp that didn't work?  Who was that girl who could dance to cast spells?
The answers to some of these question may some day be all in one place - the brand new Triplefang Wiki!
It's in the early building stages now, so there's not a huge amount of content, but come check it out.  Register as your character name.  Edit your character's page, but certainly feel free to create new pages, fill in places and characters, etc.
Thanks go to Glumr's player for the web space and setting up the wiki.
Well I cant say what she's going through.  I know I've been really stretched and it's been hard.
More so I honestly have enjoyed playing the game with her a lot.  Even though snow and glumr bumped heads all the time (as cousins will), it really added a lot to the game in making the roleplay aspect have a real feel.
I'm going to miss her in the game is all.
There's a list under the Rpol Announcements forum, and another thread in the General Rpol forum that people can post questions and/or bugs to. I haven't read the whole thread over, but I did give the list a quick once-over, so if you have any questions I might be able to help.
I know the tr, th, and td buttons have to do with tables, while the list buttons obviously have to do with lists (list+ being bulleted, while olist+ is numbered). Also, the 'code' button will add
so you can show off code.
Here's an example graph.
exampleexample 2
another exampleyet another
... and the code for it.
<table><tr><td>example</td><td>example 2</td></tr>
<tr><td>another example</td><td>yet another</td></tr>
</table>
If you want to make a table (for some reason), I have a basic knowledge of how to do so and will gladly help.
This is a 'list'
 • example
 • still an example
This is an 'olist'
 1. example
 2. also an example
You can even combine the two if you wanted.
Israth dropping out
I just received a PM from Israth that he's dropping out of the game.  He sited the slow pace of the game as a major reason.  It has not always been this way, and I can certainly see where he's coming from.  I wonder if it's something that would be fixed by merely skipping over some current plot elements, or whether there's general gaming fatigue.
So I'd like to ask everyone their opinion on how we (and if we) should continue.  It seems like we have a few options.
1) Go right into the songbook nabbing encounter and press forward from there.
2) Narrate recovery of the book and return to Rankor Heights and skip to the beginning of the next adventure.
3) Call this a good stopping point and wrap.
If we choose one of the first two options we'll probably need to recruit a new player or two at some point.  Please post your thoughts.
I know the game has been slow, as I have recently as well, but would like to keep going.
I think the 2nd option might work in getting the pace going agian, as I suspect the others are like me, not into thieving as such. Holly is justifying it to herself that it is actually retreiving a stolen item, and that stealing it from someone from the Empire is in the Triplefang tradition. Just not normally on our own soil...
I'd say skip to next chapter/adventure, and see who we can recruit.
I've always wondered whether characters would actually call "masterwork" items that, or whether they would call them better quality, or "specially made"?
Masterwork
My guess is the crafter might call a weapon a "Masterwork", but the wielder would have a different view.  It adds flavor to the game if you describe it as you did to Cordelia.
Holly
Holly's player sent me a private message saying that, due to health issues, he is going to have to drop out of the game for now.  He would like to return, but doesn't know when or if he'll be able to.  I wish him a speedy and complete recovery, and I have to admit the game will be diminished without him.
I'm inclined to finish out this combat running Holly as an NPC, but I'd like player input on the following option.
I recently received an unsolicited request to join the game.  My thinking is we could ask this player if he or she would like to take over playing Holly during the original player's absence.  If and when Holly's original player were to return we could add another character for the substitute to play.
What are your thoughts?
Never played the original, but those who have played both say that the new game cuts out a lot of the base management aspects to focus on the ground combat. The combat is not only unforgiving on "Classic" difficulty, it can get very dramatic. When the camera zooms in on an alien aiming at your troops, you know that's the signal that one of your troops is going down. At that point, all you can pray for is that it's only a critical injury that can be stabilized, and not insta-death.
Holidays
When we started this game it was pretty well accepted that people wouldn't be able to post regularly on the weekends, but we were hoping everyone would peek in every weekday and post if needed.  That doesn't typically take any more than 5 minutes to read a few responses and write a few lines in reply.  It's more about habit than time.
That said, over the holidays everyone's schedule gets screwy.  People are away on vacations or busy hosting.  I'm not sure what happened to Sunna, but we might have to all take a little time off til the end of the year and see if she returns.
I'm hoping that you're willing to stick around and play once we get rolling again.
what to do
I agree it's tricky.  All of your spells have verbal components, so casting spells in this silence is impossible.  Sunna and Farden seem to have the Stone monsters occupied.  You could move to E7, E8. or E9 and attack one of the stone monsters.  You could also charge up to D7, D8, or D9 and attack the dwarven smith if you'd like.  Either of those might make a speedy retreat more difficult, though.  If all else fails you can just stay put and wait for an opening.
The strange disappearance and reappearance of Holly
There's been no sign of Statesman88 (who was running Holly) since May 16th.
Coincidentally, Phil, our original Holly has retuned.
I would like to make the transition of getting Statesman his own character and returning control of Holly back to Phil smoother, but in light of Statesman's disappearance I've swapped him to Mord for the time being and given Phil control of Holly, so we can get the game moving again.
What's not to like about Holly? :)
Hi there all, glad to be back, and hopefully onwards to more adventure. Good to see all much as I left it.
Will be putting up some spell suggestions for the grand entrance, and any help in or out of character would be very useful as I try and catch up with the reading.
I dont know if you all use chrome?
I tried to use the RSS feeds from the site to notify me and they work worth a crap.
The issue is instead of adding new posts, the single post for the game is updated to reflect if there's a new message or not.
This causes every RSS reader I've used to not show correctly or timely.
I found a guy who made an android app to notify.
link to another game
I decided to make a chrome extension which will give a small visual alert if there are new posts.  Here's my development:
link to another game
Mods giving me some crap, so here's the code:  http://yoyo-pete.github.io/RPOL_Notifier/
Will link extension once build is complete.
If you use chrome, join the game and I should have it working next week.  I think it will be awesome.
Economics of the Identify Spell
This was written by a friend of mine and it's a really good read:
http://projectmultiplexer.com/...-destroys-the-world/
The Identify spell use is a bit different in Triplefang lands, since there are no human wizards, sorceresses are very rare, and their selection of known spells is precious.
However, the Harper's Guild has both access to the spell and an intelligence network.  Hmmmmmm.
I think Jacob would be more subtle than this.
I love that player character style groups of adventures are referred to as "murder hobos".  Of course the real heroes are the bard and her crew.
At least music is your wheelhouse.  You guys have 3 bards if you count Scottfard.
When I ran this campaign face-to-face they had no PC bards.  They did have an NPC bard join them on occasion.  They hired a 1st level NPC bard who got killed by Bicorn lightning in his first encounter.  Genessa also signed The Tome of Legends and travelled with them a few times.
Horses
quote:
"Can't go wrong with Bid.  Kept me in horses when the damn goblins kept ambushing our mounts to slow down slaughter of the wretched little pests - the goblins, I mean.  He also knows if he tries to cheat us, that I'll rattle his noggin off the rafters," Mord grinned broadly and laughed as he thumped Bid on the back/shoulders.
As much as Mord likes horses Tora will not allow her troops to use them!  She has something against animals.  She says they are unpredictable and refuses to have them around.  This policy is non-negotiable, so no horses.  For that matter Mord noticed that even wild animals stay away from Tora's camps.  How does she do that?!?
PS - I love the "The Finding of Name of Whassisname" quest.  How many exp is it worth?
Is Adiel a Triplefang?
His character description does not clearly state that he is, and i dont want to make a bad presumption on the side RP.
Adiel should know by now, that Erma's not much of a talker.  So i'm not sure what he's trying to learn from her, which cursed harper are you refering to?
I was referring to the floating eyeball. Adiel is a Triplefang from Pliffa. He thinks that a powerful Transmutation spell was used against the cursed harper, and he's seen Erma change form, and apparently teach Holly how to do so, so he sees her as an expert on the topic.
You can see everything the group knows at http://triplefang.yoyo-pete.co...ndering.minstrel.eye
...but Adiel has no way of knowing what Reynard told the group, about healing him via a powerful priest or the original warlock.
I saw Mad Max : Fury Road Wednesday night and it struck me how much Charlize Theron's character, Furiosa looked like my post-healing mental picture of Tora by the end of the movie.  Coincidence.  Now if only Tora can get her hand on a mechanical (magic?) arm like Furiosa's.  I'm not going to hold my breath for that one.
Saw it on DBOX on Saturday.  Good flick, and the new Max did a good job.  Though it held well to the others in the series, though more akin to the latter than former.
Re: Max Max
Love it.
Varies in activity, depending on the show, but we really enjoyed it even in Maleficient, which wasn't even an action show but a kids' flick.  Of all the shows we saw, only ChapE was disappointing with it, and we see a goodly # of movies.
I loved the leg room in not having my feet trampled, when folks go to from washroom, and shoulder/hips seating room, being a broader guy.
The movement helps keep you from developing long movie "sleep butt", and the adjustability means you can reduce or cancel it if you don't like it as strong, or ramp it to full if you do (you do full).  I've found it's great on the extra involvement in the show, and gives the show a definite plus to enjoyment.  Especially with how good home theatre set-ups are now, this was a real reason why to still go to the theatres.  Definitely not a movie distraction for any of our crew.  Even the father-in-law was hooked after his first visit, and insists we hit a DBOX movie every time we hit the city. :)
In reply to Erma (msg # 402):
Here's what happened since Erma was last with the group:
Crim, the southernmost Triplefang village, was ambushed in the middle of the night.  An assassination attempt was made on Tora Triplefang, the brilliant tactician who has been leading the clan's defense against the goblins.  Tora survived thanks to timely healing from Sunna and Holly.
The party joined some of Tora's warriors lead by Giselle to hunt down those responsible for the ambush.  They found a camp and defeated the goblins, hobgoblins, dire wolves, and bugbear at the camp.  They also found a shrine guarded by two huge trolls.
The party split up.  Half went to Silvergate to sell loot from the haunted tower.  The other half went to Goldenpoint to request aid from the high priest.  They were hoping to break the curse on Scottfard that has trapped him in floating eye form, and to heal damage done to Sunna's heart by an incorporeal spirit.  Sadly, Halfgan wasn't able to accomplish either task.  He did recommend a priest or Pelor in Rankor Heights who is more powerful.  Holly left the Celestial Needle (magic staff) with Halfgan for safe keeping.
Selling loot in Silvergate was a success.  The party now has enough gold to buy The Tome of Legends.   While there, they also witnessed a lavish wedding.  The party suspects that the bride is possessed by the spirit of Kelney Sowell, who escaped the haunted tower.
The party travelled to Rankor Heights and so far they have sold a magic dress to Proctor Limon's vizier, Cordelia.
In theory we had internet.  In practice it was almost always down, and crashed repeatedly when it was up.  I managed to load the RPOL once, but it crashed before I had read a single post of a single game :)
I did miss my gaming and internet, but with swimming and chance to read (I finished 10 novels (though only nine were "thick"), my biggest job was keeping my wife from trying to check facebook on data plan, or messenger app to find out about work.  :)
Beach was outstanding.  We were in for hours every day except one, and that was pool after Smashup and Pandemic.  I think we played cribbage too.  Still cannot get over the beach.
I don't look sun-worshipper, but no longer look like Casper's Canadian cousin.
All in all, superb trip, and cost-effective that my wife didn't lose her mind :)
I thought it was very well done.  They did a great job of establishing a hero and humanizing her while entertaining us.  My only complaint is that it, like so many other superhero movies, feels compelled to tell an origin story.  This left almost no time to develop a decent villain character and the "climactic" clash lacks any compelling drama.  You'll see this same formula over and over again in superhero movies - origin story combined with a poorly developed throw-away villain.
Even with this complaint I thought it was a very good movie.
For an under represented hero, especially on big screen, I can appreciate the value in giving a bit of backstory for those less in the know, which, let's face it, is a big market slice.
I did think they missed a bit of making her a leader focus when she abandons everything at almost every instance, to pursue her goal against a nebulous (and too terribly predictable) villain.  As a woman-empowerment, I thought it actually worked cross-purpose, as almost none of the women in the show were shown doing anything, and certainly not heroic.
I mean, cmon... not even a "New Yorkers throwing bricks" look how she is a hero for us?
Nothing on the nurses in the camps, the families doing undercover work for the resistance...  just an out-of-touch woman on a historical vengeance quest when she doesn't know the who/what/why beyond "Uh, someone, somewhere I need to beat up?"
Anyone with a quick link to the treasure/post we received?
I might want to find what coin Mord has on him/share being transported.
We certainly don't have time to have magical items crafted (if possible), but it would be nice!
Healing potions and holy water would be in-character interests as well, I imagine.
wagon
The wagon is pulled by two horses and is pretty deluxe.  It comes complete with three secure lockboxes built into the structure.  Adiel had it built in Silvergate, I believe, to replace the little one horse cart you picked up in the very first encounter.  At the time the weight of the coins onboard alone was crippling it.  Nevermind the fact that Farden had to stand guard over it any time you stopped moving for more than 2 or 3 minutes.
What's on the wagon is it's own topic that I try to keep nicely up to date.  (That said I didn't update the new provisions.  I'll get right on that.)  It also lists the party funds.
link to a message in this game
On Thu 9 Nov 2017 I dispersed lotsa coins from the party funds into individual character's pockets and put this info on your character sheets.
quote:
Ch10 - Journey to Yggdrasil
A little bookkeeping.
Before the winter I'm going to assume you split up some of the coins.  All four of you took 1,000gp and 10,000sp.  I'm also going to deduct 2,200 silver to buy Ragnar and Ros horses, saddles, saddlebags, bit, and bridle so they won't slow the party down.  Mord now has the Buckler +1 and the leather coat +2 natural armor.  You gave the spirit realm book to Coal.  I've update the cart item and your character sheets.
Sadly, it looks like all of my updates to Mord's character sheet have been overwritten.  This includes the money listed above and the equipment taken of the summoners corpse.  You can add the coins yourself.  I'll see if I can dig up the list of new equipment.
Mord sowwy.  And appreciative :)
Well then.. 1K gold, 10Ksp (so ~2K total?)
And I forgot about the buckler - Mord's definitely feeling more resilient with the new cloak and his formerly-a-decoration buckler :)
Folks, do you think we could manage a faster pace, to keep people checking in, posting, and the story moving?  Something like every day or second day?
I find that when the story becomes very slow moving, people check in less and less, "I'll post next time..." and things slow to a grind.  We are facing weeks between things advancing even a tiny step.
Putting things in perspective:
- We've been involved with Dunmeal's plan step of mini-arc since the end of Aug!  That's half a year to just arrange his plan - we haven't even started anything.
- This Chapter, The Journey to Yggdrasil has been going since 2017, and we're still stuck at the FIRST STOP.      *TWO AND A HALF YEARS LATER!*
