Re: Next Pathfinder Game

Our game is on though Richard is going to miss it due to another obligation that came up. I've updated the party treasure and the storyline. I apologize for the late posting. Having trouble keeping up with everything. Speaking of which, a number of you still owe me updates for what you found on your task list.

Re: Next Pathfinder Game

Thanks Dave. It's fine if you can't make the game but please try to inform in advance of the game instead of after. Feel better and take care of yourself.

Re: Next Pathfinder Game

Due to the current curfew in place I think I'm going to wait a week before posting for the scheduling for the next game. Also, as Andrew has mentioned before he is available for an earlier afternoon game which I can probably accomodate as well.

Common cold, nagative.  Flu, negative.  It's either pneumonia or COVID19.  Waiting for test results -- which will arrive in 5-7 days.  Meanwhile its getting hard to breathe.  Doc says if it continues to be unaffected by antibiotics, I have to come back in, COVID19 test results or no.

What are the odds of two people in the same house getting pneumonia at the exact same time??  I think it is the coronavirus.

Re: Next Pathfinder Game

Well if anybody needs anything let me know. Our local shopright is rationing out toilet paper but at least they have it. Most food items seem to be re-stocked now. Amazing what fear does to people.

In reply to Zarius Longbough (msg # 48):

That's rough. I hope it is unfortunate coincidence.

As for toilet paper, I bought a thing from Costco months ago and don't think I'll finish before the year ends, haha.

For the future: In case any of you are getting cabin fever and the lock-down is extended.

A Call of Cthullu group I'm part of is planning on moving their games online using a discord server. They're going to have the DM stream a copy of the map/minis and use the voice chat function to continue playing. I'm likely to have a little more free time just being stuck at home, in case anyone wants to try to play something online.

Stay safe everyone!

Working on some online options. Stay tuned.

I installed skype today on my new laptop and I'm planning to participate in an online game tomorrow with it. I'll see how it goes and post an update.

Ok. Skype works fairly well. I also have a better web cam on order. Please let me know if anybody can't use Skype. If you have skype please let me know your skype id so I can set up a group for us. Thanks.

symbaroum rpg

I don't think we're technically allowed to link items for sale so I'll just say that the alternate game is called symbaroum rpg. If you do a search for it you can find it for sale in a number of places such as Amazon, Ebay, drivethrurpg as well as modiphius. You are welcome to use my books when creating a character. Once you do you may not need them again until you want to spend experience points for something. I'll post a seperate thread for details on pc creation. For example, no servants for starting characters and I'll be modifying the rules for those since they are a clear game breaker. I will also post some suggestions I've learned during the character creation process. Best to clear with me first any non-human characters. They are a special case.

They do have Symbaroum character sheets here on rpol too. I'll try to find one a post it.

Pathfinder next game?

Ok, folks, I would like to know if we can have our next game. While I don't have a problem with getting together it may be better if we do it online for now. My first preference at the moment is to use skype since I know that works well, is free, and most people should be able to use it.

So, here's what I what to know. Do you wish to have an online game? And if so, do you have or can you use skype? Skype is available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux which should cover everybody.

Pathfinder next game?

In reply to Steve (msg # 56):

I'll have to install Skype on my Mac.  I'm willing to game online.  Until the virus has burned itself out, online will be infinitely safer than trying to physically meet.  Will this be Pathfinder or are we switching to Symbaroum?

For those interested, Cool Stuff Inc. web store has the Symbaroum core rule book marked down to $38; they are still shipping online orders at present.

In reply to Steve (msg # 56):

I am ok with playing online. When did you have in mind?

Any system works for me. I can install Skype but I've run other streaming like Hangouts on this computer so i know my camera works, worst case if I start to lag, I'll just use voice and not video.

We'll continue with Pathfinder for now and use skype for the moment.

That said, I also started creating Symbaroum threads. If interested, you can send me a PM with your character name for Symbaroum and I'll grant you access to those threads which is a different group number. The PC name you choose isn't permanent so you can change it later if you wish to.

Pathfinder next game?

In reply to Steve (msg # 59):

I've been using Skype for my online games, so I could do t hat pretty easily. I'm not available this coming weekend, but should be good for any other weekend (barring school stuff, in which case, I'll update you). Would we want to do it at the usual time?

Has anyone heard from Dave about his test results?

Good news. Dave is stil not 100% but is well on his way to recovery.

I've been updating the Rise of the Runelords - Storyline thread fairly frequently. I don't know if post updates flag as new posts to read or not so just in case it doesn't I thought I would mention it here so you can check that thread periodically.

The Easter triduum is April 9-12 so that weekend is out for me which is why I didn't list it above. Sat 6-9pm via Skype. Though if we get a majority to vote for an afternoon time slot I can accomodate that too. Let's see if we can get the next Pathfinder game on the calender. If by chance you see this Eric and want to join in, now is as a good a time as any. We're all still first level and you can catch up via the Pathfinder Storyline thread.

Good to hear Dave is doing better!

I really get a kick out of the storyline write-ups.  BTW, Did I miss the outcome of Lapis' the natural 20 with her rapier on the feral goblin?  The rapier is her artifact.

I will be celebrating the completion of my partner's graduate presentation this coming weekend and cannot play at 4/4/20 at 6-9.

If it was an afternoon game, around 1-4, I'd be free.
