The gold ball rolls for just about an hour, south. The morning sun still shines bright as the ball enters the hills just about 10 miles north of Kiev.

As the golden ball rounds the bend, the beautiful sight before you almost takes your breath away. Arrayed in a circle at the top of a hill are a series of upright standing stones some standing upwards to 12 feet tall. A small road winds it's way up to the circle.

The ball rolls on, past another marker stone. You all cross the line of the slight ditch and bank, which for a round enclosure, with in which is a large stone circle, inside this is another ring of standing stones, but they are smaller and made of a blue mineral.

The ball rolls on. Enclosed by the blue stone circle is a horseshoe arrangement of stones open to the northeast.

The ball rolls between the feet of a robed figure that was definitely not just there when you rode up to the stones. It reaches down and snatches up the golden ball..."So you've come to claim the Prince eh?"

The Knight looks on the mysterious figure suspiciously.

"Yes we have. What do you know of him?"

The hooded figure throws back the hood to reveal a tall youth, not more than 13 years of age at most. "You have come far bogatyri, I am Vladimir son of Sviatoslav, your new Knyaz!" He speaks with great authority despite his age.

"You have followed the trail I set for you with the help of Baba Yaga, to draw out my foes. Baba Yaga spoke well of you. I will return with you to Kiev but I am made aware that my greatest foes lie in waiting for me there."

He whistles and from a copse of trees ride out 15 armed boyarinas. He points to them and says... "My aunt Sophia and her guards. It is she who took my body tot eh Baba Yaga where she healed me with the waters of life and death."
