Re: OOC

Nice job RPing so far everyone!

I was thinking that we would be further along by now but you guys have been interacting with each other so well that I didn't want to short change anyone.

We will be advancing the story some tonight. I know weekends are generally slow for most people so I will keep that in mind as the replies dribble in:)

Re: OOC

You may have posted this already and I've missed it, but what time of year is it in the game?

Re: OOC

I think I posted it but then again I made have sent it PM to someone who asked...sorry about not being clear. The season is early spring. Beginning of April.

Re: OOC

For those of you who are enjoying this type of historical setting and would be interested in playing in a similar game, check out Europa 512 AD:
link to another game

I have been playing in that game for a few months. They have several groups going at once and I know they are looking for more players. I think they use 3.5 but their character generation method is unique and the game itself is rather mechanics light and roleplaying heavy.

Re: OOC

Thanks for the news on the other game. If I free up any time for it, I will certainly consider joining.

Sorry for my brief absence A'kos, I'll try to post later today.

Re: OOC

DM, are they in bow range already?  (How many game inches away?)

How long does it take to change weapons?

Re: OOC

They are roughly 150 ft away and are in range for even short bows.

Time to switch from bow to melee weapon is negligible. To put away everything nice and neat would be 1 rd.

Re: OOC

Good eve, gamers...wanted to share - I bought a book on the Magyars, replete with maps and historic information that coincides with the timeframe of our game.  I'll be interested in rounding A'kos the player out more than I have thus far.

Looking forward to the game continuing.

Cheers!

Re: OOC

I'm not sure where we are, exactly.

Does anyone else have missile weapons to use this round?

I don't know about you guys, but Roderychus is behind his shield, and that's where he'll remain until the enemies are at reach of his sword.

Re: OOC

I guess it is about time I listed Balthazar's memorized spells:

3rd level, so that's 2 1st and 1 2nd.

1st) charm person, sleep
2nd) invisibility

Re: OOC

My apologies! I got booted offline last week and just got back online this morning.

I tried accessing this site at the library and it is blocked, I also tried getting on Drangonfoot forums and letting some of you there know I was having computer issues...after one post on the forum the libraries program caught on and blocked that site as well.

So all is back to normal and as much as I hated to leave  you guys hanging on the verge of being attacked, there was little I could do about it...expect a post later this afternoon or early evening.

Wow.  Your library sounds super-strict on sites visited.  My own local libraries couldn't care less.

Welcome back.

Re: OOC

I agree. I was surprised to see these sites blocked. I can understand myspace, youtube or facebook but of those three only myspace is blocked. But at least I am back on here at home....incoming!

Roleplaying is a tool of the devil. We're lumped together with porn and big hairy naked bodies. Things that children shouldn't see. :)
