Brother Demyan smiles at the Slavic woman..."Perhaps...who might you be? Clearly your are home here...a fellow Christian?"

"Yes, I am a native of Kiev," she supplied, and bluntly: "No, I am no Christian."   She tugged her own holy symbol from within her mail, to display it.  "I serve the Zorya named Polunochnaya, the Midnight's Star. Whatever our differences, sir, I think blatant theft of a holy artifact is a concern to us all.  If the perpetrator of this gets away with it, others will think themselves safe to do such things. I believe we should show them otherwise."

"Now, when exactly did you discover it had gone missing? Do you have any record of pilgrims to this shrine?"

Gebretsadik steps forward with s slight frown upon his face.
I am  Gebretsadik bisi Dakuen. It was my quest to find the relic."

Brother Demyan bows his head and replies to Geb..."I am happy to welcome you here Gebretsadik but sorry that you have come all this way to be disappointed."

He offers Asya a weak smile and says..."You are correct and your offer of aid is most welcome."

To Rudolfus he says...I notticed the staff was missing two days ago. I am afraid we do not have a record of visitors. They are so few and far between that it makes little sense to do so."

"Then, perhaps you would remember them. Was there anyone who seemed strange, like they weren't here as a pilgrim? Or maybe someone who seemed like a relicmonger wanting to sell it for his own profit?"
