At least it was daytime, cloudy and sleeting. Imagine how much of a beacon that would have been on a clear, moonless night!

Sooty, and steam still wafting from his beard and clothing, he coughs several times before responding.

"I think that might have got them...." he breaks into a nervous laughter.

Oh that is just priceless! :D

We owe Falx a bit of kudos as pcs... we went through his horde earler for quest rewards. Jer got +3 full plate. Still, he's meant to be resting up.

Re: Oops!

I prefer to have EVERYONE posting before resolving each round, but since there's a few players a bit slower than others.... :(

As for game post rates, style, direction and all that, if anyone has any suggestions or comments, please let me know. We're all here to have fun.
Note though that I'm trying to stick with the guidelines contained in the module and the party does have a mission to complete. If you want more combat, we can do that, if more roleplaying and PC interactions, then we can do that too. We just need to find a balance we're all comfortable with, but we can't do that without player feedback.

Re: Oops!

I like combat, enjoy puzzles, and love role-playing, I just want SOMETHING to be happening most of the time.

Them's my two cents.

Re: Oops!

I can be patient or post multiple times a day, but I like a long story arc, something that is fun along the way but has an story that requires a team effort and smarts to figure out....but the more the posts the better, otherwise, you don't get to know each others pc's well enough

Re: Oops!

Wow, I just wrote a big long post here, then realized I was in the wrong game.

MIND FREAK!!!

Natasha, not sure what the DM has on his platter, but if there is some side quest available to those of us who are most eager to play at a faster pace, count me in girl-friend.

When I run a game, I really prefer to keep the cast down around three to five players, and even then things can get slow. I have a policy that I try to employ where players who don't post within three days simply do nothing, which can mean hide in a corner, embarrass yourself, or even take damage.

I like to think it pleases more players who appreciate the tempo then piss of people who quit, but when I am capable of being strict, it works pretty good.

Shall we adopt this rule? Since our glorious GM hasn't posted for the bug that would mean Nat can shoot it full of bolts, party wins, treasure all round!

Re: Oops!

I, too, could post more often....If players are dropping out, maybe those of us who can post often could each take 2 characters.  I'm up for that challenge to get the story rolling along.

OotS is still my favorite followed by Goblins.

Re: Oops!

That is a good one too, though I found the LotR one funnier then the starwars one.

I'm a big fan of OotS, but it's gone downhill in my opinion, not as funny as it once was.

I used to like Goblins, but it also drifted away from the original concept, so I have wandered away.

I like Sinfest a lot though, and there are a few others I glance at on occassion.

Soory about the delay ladies and gents - struggling a bit with RL at the moment. Should be back on track by the weekend.
