(Anik) The Lesser Bounty

Bounty is a massive realm the size of Europe, and just as diverse. There are moutains, seas, forests, plains, low-lands, tundra, and swamps through it.

The Bosmer (and Anik) live in a part of the realm called the Hidden Vallies. These are smaller moutains that are inbetween two large moutain ranges. The moutains provide difficult access to the outside world but allow for an abudence there to flurish. The plan of Nature seems to connected to this place as it is unnaturally fertile. The lower parts of the vallys often contain rives, forests and some clearings, while the upper reaches of the moutains contain large pine forests.

In the legend of the Elves before the great spliting of the Wild Elves, the elves were masters of all magic and many great skills. They built many grand cities, which were often saced and destroied. Now what remains untouched from them were their Tombs, Forts, and Temples. Tombs were not quite a place of rest... as they the wild elves were morally... well wild. Wild-Elf tombs were often massive complexes with tons of traps, undead gaurdians, and hidden treasures (as they belived that all treasures in one's tomb would aid them in the next life). The forts were untouched mainly because after the splitting, the Demonic Gaurdians in the forts could not recognise friend from foe... so they just killed everyone who enetered. The temples were not to the gods, but to the Planes themsleves. They were mostly on the ground but a couple Air temples were said to fly and some Water Temples were said to be under the seas. These Temples also had gaurdians, great Spirit Elementals which like the Demonic Gaurds could no longer tell friend from foe, and so turned on all.

---

The Bosmer: There people are short elven people who are always trying to make things. They are craftsmen, artists, and visonarys at heart. They share a well ingrained magical potention but instead of comming out in the form of powerful wizards instead legendary craftsmen are born... for when they put their time and effort into making something that object will almost always contain some form of supernatural power. The art-works they make (I say art-works but I mean even a sword can be made so perfect to be called a piece of art) all are semi-living. They don't speak or or even have minds, but the power they gain is through the talents of the maker, his reason for making it, his emotions while making it, and also the complication of its admires. The more time that their work is on this world the more they can absorbe into them... so the more powerful they become.

For instence if a man carved and made a beautiful diamond and place it on a masterwork ring for someone he cared deeply for, then the ring would take this trait, somehow helping the one who wore it from harm or by bringing them happiness or luck. Now if this ring was worn all her life while they love eachother it would grow stronger by the emotions place through it. Then when passed on to gallery where the work would be seen by all, as its fame grew and people admired it, it would become an even greater ring, perhaps even makeing it a full-fledged artifact. By this time even copies of this ring would carry some much smaller form of its power.

Besides being wonderful craftsmen they are also quite good at swordsmen ship and bow and arrow. If they fight it is only to protect what they love. Generally they are peaceful, but sometimes objects will come into being that promote violence and hatrid. These objects are often locked away in vaults and kept away from people.

---

Long Ago there were the Anor, or Wild-Elves! They lived in the realm and not only were artists and craftsmen but also powerful wizards. It is said long ago that the wild-elves soon though split into 3 different sub-types. The Bosmer or Wood Elf, Altmer or High Elf, and Dunmer or Dark-Elf. Through the split of the elves all the major cities and works were destroied through the wars that followed (mainly the Altmer and Dunmer fighting with the Bosmer just trying to stay alive). The war is said to have gone one through centuries, and left the realm in ruins.

The bosmer were able to eventually escape the fighting in the Hidden Valleys of the

The Bosmer were the artist, craftsmen, and enchanters of the realm. They were considered to be "Neutral" beleiving in nature being a guide for living. The Altmer were the greatest builders (making grand cities and large castles) and powerful Wizards, but were weaker and often their pride would not allow them to work well together. They would be considered the "Good" Elves, though often their pride will get in the way of alot of "good" they could do. They also think very highly of themselves as they are immortal when it comes to age (though they don't breed as often, and each child a woman has, it takes 10% of her lifeforce with her. They would almost consider themselves gods if their weren't accually gods out there. The Dunmer were the stronger, quicker, and more resilent of the three races (though all of them are more magical than tough). They would be considered "evil" as they will turn to more corrupt and vile means to eradicate their eneamy, they are also the only ones who dabble in Necromancy.

Re: (Anik) The Lesser Bounty

The wind was calm in the night sky. The world was at peace, or as peaceful as normallity would allow. Nothing significat singled the comming of Anik. Perhaps that is because it doesn't matter how you enter or leave, but what you did and made while there that does.

Anik blinked a bit, not sure how long he had been looking at the stars.

His head hurt... how many lifetimes has he lived? And in each one he had not remembered any of the others. He was there at The Beginning, but the Beginning was not his start. No, his start came far after that. But everything seemed like a dream to him, and whats worse, is that he felt like he was missing a big chunk.

He got up and felt within himself. This was a new body, though it looked the same. A new "incarnation". He could feel other small differences. What he knew about Magic had changed, and psionics... they had evolved into something else, yet far more powerful. And as such, he lacked what he used to have.

The knowlage hadn't degrated, just... wasn't applicable here in this time. For when the rules of reality shifted, sometimes the way you play the game changes, even if under the same name of "life".

He looked around the land... his Bounty, how many times has it appeared on Yiggdrasil? Looked to the Valley in which he knew the Bosmer must be (they always settled there it seemed, waiting for him) and started walking that way.

Re: (Anik) The Lesser Bounty

The winds spoke of peace to Anik, as did the Earth.

Though he was not familiar with the details of the gorgeous realm of The Bounty, he felt at home here.
Something about his realm gave him confidence, despite his clear lack of knowledge at the current moment.

With the utmost of grace, Anik moved through the beautiful landscapes of The Bounty, towards the near-by City, where the Bosmer lived.

Anik continues to the village. He knew of course that with every incarnation of his, he knew the land would be different, but it still felt like home.

((He's had 2 played and 2 not played incarnations, 50% of it is missing info, 40% of it is jumbled up, and the 10% avalible isn't applicable... but it makes great RP.))

Re: (Anik) The Lesser Bounty

As he continued on to the village, Anik remembered small things about The Bounty, things like the beautiful lush Flora, the ancient rocky slopes of the mountains, the smell and whisper of the air the swelled and wound around him.

Then, something particular caught his eye - as he pressed down a rocky track towards the village, he spotted a small blackish obsidian orb. The orb was about the size of a golf ball, and had a strange marking carved into it, which looked like it had been filled with an orange wax, or filler of some sort.

Re: (Anik) The Lesser Bounty

Anik's current train of thought is quickly derailed, as his mind starts filling with information about the item.

The orb is infact a key, the marking - which is currently covered with a sealant - is pressed against the turn-key of a lock, the seal will brake, the orb will bind to the lock, and the orb can be twisted, to open the lock. It becomes obvious to Anik that this work of superior craft was made by him, and that it opens a gate - or portal - of great importance.

As quickly as his thought and sight had faded, they were back, Anik's mind now buzzing with new knowledge.

"I see" He says to himself, wondering if this is perhaps the 'key' to his lost knowlage, perhaps it involves the tower as well if he made it. He puts it in his pack, anik carries with him almost at all times a small pack which carries his tools (should he want to manually do work) or interesting things he finds. He then proceeds to the village.

After pocketing the item, Anik continues.

He shortly arrives at the Village of the Bosmer. Even to Anik's eyes, this village is of unfathomable craftsmanship. The Bosmer people were deeply in love with the land that surrounded them, and it showed. The Village lay sprawled amongst heavy bushes, shrubs, and many shacks and stores were pressed against the thick rooted bases of the trees, the soared right up into the top of the valley, their thick branches and foliage forming a sort of roof over the valley.

The people of Bosmer gave Anik looks of intense love, and respect. Some even put down their tools and crafts, and eyed the god intensely as he walked among them. Anik got the feeling that in his past life, he had done some great deed to the Bosmer, though, he was not sure what this great deed was.

As he walked amongst his proud Bosmer people, he layed his eyes upon their magnificent crafts. Weapons, armour, jewels, and intricate devices and crafts of all shape and size were made here.

However, as he walked through the beautiful village of the Bosmer, Anik had a strange feeling of unease, as if, perhaps, there were suspicious eyes watching him.

"Someone in charge? You'd be looking for Eilduen. He can be found in the temple, in the Chamber of Kings. He will be eagerly awaiting you my lord!" said Mepherian, still very excited.

"Thank you Mepherian." He said before proceeding to the temple. Jewelcrafting, he wondered where they were getting their materials from. Of course his being here would mean he could turn anything from wood to dirt to what they needed, but still he prefered to have a people that could work things out themselves as his powers would need to be used for his own works.

He began contemplating a shop me might build here. He remembered having both large shops and small shops, he smiled as a memory of his false life as "Olin, god of enchantment" where he actually worked for... what was the daemons name? Oh well, he couldn't remember, but he remember that there were several daemonic smiths who were very good at their trade (mainly weaponry) and taught him much. Looseing himself in though he had a "wakeup call" himself when he finally found the temple. He then proceeded in looking for the Chamber of Kings, and the man he was suppost to meet.

Re: (Anik) The Lesser Bounty

Anik's thoughts carried him to the Temple of The Bounty. The Temple was a monolithic structure of immense natural beauty, hidden amongst trees, covered in overgrowth, and intricate , detailed carvings, that told the story and history of the Bosmer for a thousand years or more.

Upon entering the Temple, Anik was struck with a strange sense of alienation, as if, he had once been to the Temple before, but it had changed significantly since..

He enters the Chamber of Kings, a magnificent golden oak chamber, where the officials and most important icons of the Bosmer would regularly gather to discuss their latest, greatest, and most beautiful crafts.

Before Anik could even look for Eilduen, he was already grovelling before Anik.

"Lord, the prophets, they told of you're coming, of you're return, and here you are! In all your glory and splendor my lord, here you are!" proclaimed Eilduen, his voice full of love and passion.

He rose to his feet.

"My lord Anik, please, what is it that I can do?" he asked graciously.

"Thank you, Eilduen, for your most receptive greeting, but I do not require such a show, so if you feel you must do as such let it be only for your own pleasure." He say quite politically correct. "Beyond your words or actions, this temple, the building in the valley. Sir, I would call this village a complete success upon first and second glance. Just walking here I could not see the beauty of the buildings until they were meant to be seen, and then when in coming here I have seen fine craftsmanship on my way here." He smiles delicately at the man.

"Though you are correct, I have returned, though I no not for what reason yet, but there is always a reason. I hope there is not too much lore about myself that I cannot live up to. Through time things often get muddled or changed, but then exact history isn't as important as history perceived.

As you would well know, I am a Crafter myself, and as such I will need a place to work in my realm, should I decide to do so. Perhaps if there is a suitable place I can purchase, for it is only fair, or if not, a spot of land that I might build a workshop."

"Oh, right, I am sorry my lord.."
Eilduen trails off, seemingly hurt. This man, and the surrounding Bosmer were incredibly grateful to Anik for something, alas, it was something he didn't remember, but he did know it must have been something great.

Suddenly, Eilduen's attention is snapped back, as if waking from a dream.

"Oh yes, the buildings? Why thankyou my lord, after the great war we did our best to restore the village just how you would've done it yourself, I am very glad you're impressed" he croaked, his full of emotion, but cracking a smile at the same time.

"A workshop my lord? You must not remember the many you built yourself! We have restored them all, all 18 of them, scattered around the realm. You placed 5 here in the city, my lord.." Eilduen trailed off again. Something, was deep in the thoughts of his head.

"Ah, lord, I, uh... well, you see..." Eilduen is suddenly overcome with emotion, a single crystal tear falls down his cheek.

"Lord we lost the key to the Overforge of Ihl'Asuun. I am most sorry" he says, very apologetically.

"I can get someone to take you to one of your 5 workshops in the City, though. Would you like to go to the one in the east, west, north, south, or center of the city?" Eilduen asks.

He nods. "I thought I may be missing something, these are not the only things I do not remember building, but then... for some reason I remember a lot from previous lives, tens of thousands of years back." He ponders for a bit on that before snapping back to the man's attention. "Right then, whichever one is closest, and right now I don't seem to remember the Overforge... a bit. As you might guess, waking up after a long period of sleep trying to remember what happened tens of thousands of years ago like it was tomarrow, as well as what happened last... is not easy. But like most things, it can be repair with time." Actually there were many grand workshops he build so it could be any one of them, but he suspected that this was not so, as there seemed to continously be a pattern to the section of time of which his memeory was gone... perhaps this was not an accident.

He would have to look into it later though, he followed the man to the first forge. "So then how long has it been since my last departure?" He asks while they were walking to the first workshop. He wanted to get his berrings on the time-scale of things. He remembered Gaia, and the Titans, then suddenly things jumped a long ways, Metatron... a name he could never forget, but it was still fuzzy, and definatly out of chronological order.

"Oh, nevermind my lord, the tales do not tell of it being THAT important."
"The closest workshop is in the center of the city, only a short walk from here."
he says, quickly skimming subjects.

"Please, this way, my lord" says Eilduen, as he escorts Anik out of temple, and heads to the workshop.

"Well, hmm, the stories and legends last tell of your departure many aeons ago my lord. Many years before any of the Bosmer you see around you were born, and more than likely before their fathers, fathers, even. The people here know of your legend my lord, but this is the first coming of you in there time, there first sights of the mighty lord Anik! You can understand why we are all so excited" says Eilduen, genuine and courteous in his information given.

"Ah, here we are my lord!" exclaimed Eilduen, as they wheeled around a huge fern, revealing the tall solid wood doors of the workshop.

Re: (Anik) The Lesser Bounty

"Oh, it was nothing to important my lord. It shouldn't bother you." says Eilduen, clearly lying. Perhaps some secret hid within the Overforge of Ihl'Asuun.

"Well, you see my lord, we had written many tomes of the history of the realm, but they were all lost in the war.., you see my lord, legend tells that the war carried on for many moons after your flight from the land." Eilduen's voice was again, full of emotion. This was strange, for the Bosmer general had obviously not served in the war, but was so deeply affected by it.

Eilduen stood at the door, while Anik looked around the workshop.

There was an average array of items in here, impure metals, draws full of gemstones and jewels, all uncut, every tool any master craftman would need. All the items were covered in thick dust.

"Lord, over on the far bench ... we found it amongst the ruins of the old workshop" said Eilduen.

Anik walked over to the bench, and laying there was a thick, silken robe. The robe was spun of a very alien silk, one that Anik didn't recognise, black as the darkest side of the moon, and flowing with magical power.

Anik gripped the robe, and used Lore on it.

The same strange feeling, his current thoughts ripped out of his head, as he learned about the robe.

In his mind, Anik saw a powerful muscular man, standing in the robe. The man kneeled down amongst the scrub, and sparked flame into it. The flame grew and spread at a terrifying rate, it was in no way natural. This man was quite obviously a powerful magician. The man in the robe flung back the hood, revealing his Dunmer face. The man was covered in tribal tattooing of a grotesque magnitude, and just as his thoughts started connecting again, Anik heard the Dunmer speak;

"The Bosmer will pay the price for the suckling at Anik's teat, ei fuhn asam hemmar!" and the Dunmer dissapeared in a flash of light.

Re: (Anik) The Lesser Bounty

"Strange..." He says sort of lost in time for a bit, information of seconds passing faster than "real" seconds. "This was a Dunmer's robe... one who disliked me." He shifted the focus of his Lore to read a bit about the robe itself, its properties. Once that was done though, if there was no immediate danger, he put the robe back in its place, making sure to fold or hang it nicly.

"Alright then, you may leave if you wish, if not, please stay out of the way. I have some work to do."

He then went around the place cleaning it up first. There was no way he could work with the layers of dust on the shops so he began to clean it up, from top to bottem. He used a stick to gather cob-webs from the cieling and around windows before sweeping it down. Once that was done he went down to the walls and upper shelves. Next came the lower shelves, walls, and furiture. He made sure all the windows and doors were open so he could clear the room out. Finally when it was done everything had been cleaned, oragnised, and somewhat polished. "Alright, now work can begin." He said to himself, all in all this would have taken far longer than what he had plans, but would be an investment none the less.

He went over to the resource section of the Workshop to get some iron. He felt the metal, letting his senses dive into it just getting a first glance of the thing. It might have been a bit crude for his tastes. But he needed to streach first before he began a run. In only second the long thick rod of iron was turned into a crude dagger without a leather-padded hilt. The metal ran like liquid around itself once more as it began turning into a long metal rod. It was pencil thin, it kept getting long, slowly streaching farther than one would think the metal would go, but only anik noticed that it was because he was unbonding the metal enough to allow for less density. This would weaken the metal, but that was nessicarry to clense it. The first thing he did was begin pruning.

Suddenly it looked like tiny shockwaves or liquid moveing along the length of the rod. Eventually a small red tint could be seen at the base of the rod. Anik held his other hand out under it and a small collection of impurities dropped down from the rod. Then in mere seconds the rod began to shrink back into the form a hilt-pad-missing dagger. He played with it with his power letting the legnth and density change. Turning it from a wide punching to a long stabbing and slashing to a moderate hunting knife.

He nodded as if he had decided what it was to be formed as. He goes long the length of the knife with one hand while still the shimmers of liquid metal move back and forth, a sign that Anik is still working on the exact make-up of the thing. As his finger runs up the blade suddenly serrations appear, behind its path. As he touches the tip the quiver a bit and seem to shine.

Minutes pass as he goes through and turns what was once a simple rod into a stunning solid iron hunting knife. Putting the knife down gently on a recently cleaned table top he goes over to a selection of wood inspecting each one carefully touching them as he goes so he could "feel" inside them to get a layout of their being. He shakes his head. The wood was old here, though still in good condition.

He then picks up the knife as he goes outside. He moves from tree to tree touching it for long periods of time, trying to find what he needed. Eventually he finds it in a small Ceder Softwood. He touches it with a single finger and then focuses. Minutes, more than it took to make the dagger, pass as he stand unmoving by the tree. As he does the tree seems to be "growing" something out of its bark. This of course is not the case, as anik is gathering the perfect grains from the tree while still re-routing any major veins the tree still needs. Once a small block of wood has come out he touches it the base of the dagger. Suddenly as if the wood was a sponge and the knife water, it moves into it until the wood comes up to the top of the hilt. After the wood is there he begins the process of alignment and shaping. Going into the internal works of the wood and metal, literally binding them at their base. At the surface he went over the wood and removed the unneeded bits letting them fall into his hand. He went over it and then it begins to shimmer and then there is the smell of wood burning. The outside of the wooden handle is smooth now, and has a glossy sheen.

He put the exess wood back on the tree and it sinks into it. He continues going over the tree for several minutes before he is satisfied that minimal damage has been done to it. After repairs, he lets his mind return from the material, and now looks at it with his eyes. He sees the sharpness of the tip and knife blade is far sharper than a normla blacksmith could do, and stronger for its being thin-points. The serrations themselves were a feat as upon closer inspection you notice that each one is actuall a slightly curved serration which would allow for a far more smoother cut. It was balenced fairly well and was of course perfectly fit to his hand. He smiles at his creation, then looks up to take notice if anyone was nearbye, and how much time he had taken. Anik knew he was known to get lost in creations for hours, he think his record though was somewhere around 3 months... he couldn't remember what, but it was a big craft.

Re: (Anik) The Lesser Bounty

His mind was filled with the property values of this robe.

The robe was made of a very refined silk, which came from the Black Ha'Mun Silkworm. This particular type of silkworm was common amongst linen crafts of the Dunmer. The robe was otherwise, just like any other robe.

Anik placed the robe down on the bench top.

"Yes my lord, you know where to find me if you need anything!" Eilduen said, as he rushed off back to the Chamber of Kings.

Hours pass as Anik goes about his perfect process. Cleaning, polishing, tidying. His process was the most magnificent form of art.

Some of the Bosmer look on near-by, immensely inspired not only by the impeccable craft and skill of their god, but also just by his presence.

Hours pass as Anik works on his hunting knife, turning it from a crude possibility, into a knife of lethality, and master craft that none could compare to.

Anik looks at his knife after he is done, and is filled with pride for his own skill.

Re: (Anik) The Lesser Bounty

He would need rest for a couple hours to let himself recharge. But this was only the first step and an inspiration for many more to come. The knife, was but a tool, only a weapon at last resort. So he went into the shop to do some "manditory work". He went on to bits and pieces of leather. He gathers and measures them to the lengthes needed. He uses some of the "old wood" and does use his power to "clean them up" on the inside, but that takes no less than 10 minutes or so. When he goes to use the saw he sees its not that sharp and then uses his powers to sharpen and "clense" it (not the point of his knife, but still good). He sighs, and then goes to work on the rest of the tool. Time was always his obsticale...

Suddenly there was a flash of memory... Xellos, god of time. He remembered him. Friendly chap if a bit outlandish and immature. Simple too, mainpulation... he was always a good friend as he could be manipulated to do as Anik wanted. He remembered an arugment though right before he died a final time (well in that incarnation anyway). He also remembered the hourglass and cursed axe.

Anik shook his head. Memories memories, he had to many and not a big enough brain... so it seemed his brain had compiled a lot of the information. He went back to repair and the making of the leather and wood sheith. After some time he sat down and streached his neck out a bit. His "break" had turned into a project itself... still he had gotten a lot done. So he desides maybe to visit the Eilduen, that is, if the hour wasn't to late.

Re: (Anik) The Lesser Bounty

Anik goes about crafting the sheath of the sword, undisturbed.

As Anik ponders on his new found memory of the god of Xellos, his thoughts are swept away from him.

He see's before him - what appears to be - wave upon wave, however there were many more of these waves lapping forward than backward. This told Anik that there were two currents at work here, and the one pushing forward was much stronger than the one pushing backwards. Amidst the waves he saw a skull floating.

Anik was compelled to reach out and grab the skull, and as he did so, he lurched forward, knocking things on the bench over. The thought was entirely gone, and the workshop eerie silent, save the bugs and insects chirping and chattering outside.

The vision was immensely strange, and worrying to Anik, but he pushed on with his craft.

After some time, his finely crafted hilt sat before him.

The Bosmer officials that resided within the Temple never slept, so it was fine for Anik to go see Eilduen.

"Ah, my lord, you have returned." chirped Eilduen, as Anik strode into the Chamber of Kings.

"Was everything to your expectations my lord? Is there anything I can do for you?" he asked happily.

Re: (Anik) The Lesser Bounty

"History of the realm my lord?" asked Eilduen, inquisitive at first, but then remembering that Anik knew nothing, he wised up.

"Oh, well, after your last dissapearance, the war with the Dunmer rose up again. They tried to burn the Village down, and when our men were tied up putting out flame, their legions came forth. The black filth of the Dunmer wailed upon us for hundreds of years my lord. Whole bloodlines had begun and ended before the war was over. The war ended with the slaying of the King of the Dunmer, Baeldugn. One of our greatest trained assassins took his life as he lead a siege upon a fortress we had setup in the south of the realm." said Eilduen. With this, he was slightly lost in thought.

"After the war, our people struggled to survive. The Dunmer had wiped out major allotments of our resources, and we were defenseless to any other attack. Many Bosmer sought refuge amongst the Altmer, though, we know not where they found them. It took us about 60 years to regain some resources, and we were then able to go back to our crafting and living." he said, his voice picking up as he spoke.

"And that was nigh 200 years to now my lord, to your return to our beautiful land." said Eilduen.

Re: (Anik) The Lesser Bounty

"I see. Just wanted to get more reasoning on that. I shall have to look into more when I travel, and I will eventually, for there is much I have forgotten and much to be found. But I am nowhere near ready to leave, nor do I wish to before I can do what I can for the village here. While I am out crafting some works I would like you to go around the village, or visit with some elders, to see what exactly the village needs done. As you might predict I have much in the way of skill of craft, but knowledge that I may give may be 1000 times more useful. In addition to collecting such needs, and please do limit them to thing benefiting the entire or majority of the village, I would like a sort of inquiry on the village to be done. Create a census of the population if you haven't as well as a recording of social infrastructure, as these things allow a society to examine, and improve itself.

There is no need to rush, as I have much to do, weeks of work. Quality of work is just important as getting the work done."

With the instructions laid out Anik went back to the shop, he had plenty of rest, both from the journey, and on Yggdrasil's time-line. Now was the time to begin crafting his personal effects, and perhaps something of a sample to sell in the market.

Now that he had his "practice" with the knife. He could begin with something much more complex. In the past Anik had used a longsword and rapier so he decides that should be first. He grabbed some metal and made different miniature-moulds quickly going through changing it as he went along, eventually he settled on a long double edged rapier. He next went through different hand-guard designs before settling on a practical, yet fine, one. Next he thought about material. While iron is very good for a dagger, it is far to brittle for a rapier. He could try to pull something off with aluminum, carbon, and iron. He went through his basic chemistry and metallurgy equations. There was something he remembered, Titanium... it was rare, but then he could produce it if needed. Some other rare metal ingredients along with some tin and aluminum would make an excellent blade. Adding in a carbon edging, could make it also very useful.

Going over the equations on the table, literally warping the surface to act as a sort of paper, writing with his finger. He also scribbled some mathematics (though he could easily do them while he worked) just to double check the measurements of what he needed. About an hour later he was done with the pre-making process and he could get down to the material gathering.

Now several of the ingredients would be easy to get. There was plenty of zinc, iron, tin, copper, and carbon. But Titanium, a minutes amount of lead and other rare metals would be needed as well.

He went outside to inspect the forge. While the forge itself was not going to be used for the making, the massive amounts of heat it could contain would be useful. He then went out around the area to find any large stones or boulders that wouldn't be in use. Once he found a suit able one he began to take chunks out of it (as large as he could carry without to much extreme physical effort) back to the workshop and by the forge. They would provide some useful energy for the alteration of the iron rods. Once he had enough raw stone he deemed sufficient he went back into the forge and began to clear out most of the charcoal or coal that had been left in there. A dirt process, but a necessary one, and one to give him a "power rest", though he was nowhere near tried enough to fail. After he got everything set up be began splitting some of the stones into smaller balls which he put into the unheated forge. The rest of them he began to "fill up" any spot in the room that he deemed accessible from the forge, especially the windows and doorways. There didn't have to be much, perhaps just an inch of stone filling them.

Once the forge was complete he could begin. He went over to the iron rods and went once more through the purifying process, until it was nothing but a pure iron rod. Iron was a pain to, but the best thing, to transmute. Its atomic strength was neigh impenetrable which meant a lot of energy had to be used to break it, but in the cross end, it was so damn exactly in the middle of everything, that once you got it "in the zone" of breaking bonds, you could damn near change it to anything. He put the iron rod in the unheated forge, and in one hand he grabbed one stone ball. He stood motionless staring straight at the end of the iron rod, watching as it began to glow. So far nothing visible could be seen to the rock he was holding, he had to go slow, as this was his first time in a while he had done transmutation.

As time went on though he could get faster and soon half of the iron rod was red hot with still very little seen to the stone in Aniks hand. Hold on... perhaps maybe a bit had been removed off the top. Steady had he went, he knew this task would take hours. Soon though on top of the stone a little spark issued its way from the top, and at that point the red-hot half of the iron rod suddenly began to glow white. Sweat streamed down anik's face, not from the heat coming from the rod, (which was all focused internally) but from the sheer amount of concentration. Soon a couple hot sparks could be seen flying off both the rock and the iron rod. Anik smiled a bit when he could feel the iron was "in the zone". He dropped the rock he had been holding, letting it fall to the ground and shatter, revealing it had been completely turned hollow. He then grabbed another orb of stone and brought it to the white-hot rod. What appeared to be a line of light suddenly connected the iron rod and the rock sparks danced down into the forge, a sound like much that of welding gun echoed through the small room. The temperature got suddenly hotter, like a real forge. He did this for about 10 minutes, stopping and examining the rod every minute, until anik deemed it done.

Now for the cooling, he wouldn't use water, that would be deadly. That were what the other handful of rocks were. Stone, unlike metal, could handle a lot of heat. He touched the end of the iron rod to one of the stones inside the forge and suddenly it began glowing red where it touched quickly spreading to the entire thing. He rotated to the next stone, and then the next. Until he had several red-hot stone balls sitting inside the forge. When the rod suddenly when from white to red that was the time to use water. But just to be sure, he "pushed" a bit inside the forge and watched as flames seared the walls, catching whatever debris he had left in the forge. He then went to the water and dipped the rod. Letting it sit there for a while (his hand still on it) slowly let the hear climb up into the iron part of the rod. Transference of heat was a critical part of the cooling as if he just let go of it, the bar would snap.

Once cooled down he looked proud at the bar. Part of it was still iron, the part that had never turned red, while the rest of the bar was a shiny silver material, though only Anik would know that the compounds for the alloys he needed in precise measurement were layered one on top of the other on the rod. Titanium and Aluminum taking up the most of it while just an inch or two of minor materials (with shell around it to prevent raw-exposure). He went over and set the rod down.

For now the rod was stable, and Anik was beat, and hot. Without windows or doors, something he only did as an "over-protection" in case some sort of radiation had leaked from his making, it was stifling in here. He went over to a window first and made a hole in it about the size of his fist to allow air-flow into the forge (as the hot air would climb up into the forges chimney). He went to each window and made similar holes so air wasn't restricted to comming into one place. After that was done he went over to the door and made an opening on it large enough for him to step through.

Out of the forge he relaxed a bit outside, it should be nearly dawn by now.

Re: (Anik) The Lesser Bounty

Watching the sun come up in his realm was a nice way to pass the time and relax as he took a break from his powers. The forge would require some clean up now, and it might be good to store the stone in or on the doorway somehow. He thought abit it for a bit and then decided that they would make lovely decorations as window and door liners, when they weren't in use as an over-protection for radiation leakage.

He went back into the, somewhat cooler smithy and began to alter the stone inside the windows and doors, altering them into decorative window seals and door frames. He began turning the stone into different patters and shapes that mimicked the forest around it so like much of the village, it would only stand out as decorative when it was supposed to, and natural when you were father away. After that he got the brush and shovel and moved all the choke back into its proper place in the forge. He then cleaned up the area with the extra stone balls (which would be useful in later transmutations) and then tidied up the place. Cleanliness and order were necessary for fine craftsmanship.

He then went over to the rod he had transmuted into the materials needed for the mainly Titanium-Aluminum Alloy rapier. Bringing it over to the previous iron prototype (which he gave a little bit more detail as to the decorative properties) he sat down at the workbench. He went over the prototype rapier one more time before beginning on the alloy. He then separated most of the iron from the titanium bar and then proceeded to begin his crafting. He grabbed a working stone in one hand, and the rod in the other.

First he began with the handle, forming it of a material composite that even used some of the iron from the base, since it would need to be a little bit heavier than its size would allow, and even then it needed to cushion blows the rapier would take. As he went into the heart of the handle, he began to shift his focus back up towards the length of alloy above, and the stone in his hand. He didn't need much energy to get the alloy excited enough to begin heating up, but still a constant flow would be needed. This sort of crafting might take longer than producing a fire and heating the metal, but this way he could move the heat exactly to where he wanted while he was working.

When the rod, minus the handle, was glowing red it would be easiest to work with, once he was done it would take even him quite a while to reforge such a thing. Mixture of the metal was the first part, and that would require the most heat. Soon the thing was almost to the point of melting, and if in any other hands, it would have turned into a liquid at that instance, but Anik continued to focus on the rod, easing the flows of heat within it. Then came the mixing of metal, the metal began to spin, and as it did the centrifugal force made it get a bit wider though slowly it compressed down, and the metals began to combine. He let it cool the point where it was something more like liquid plastic now. Control and time were key factors in its making. This was not something Anik would be able to do in just minutes; the aligning of atoms to its core was not a fast process, nor an easy one. Metal was fickle... it wasn't something that liked to be reheated time and time again, for each time, bonds would break, and last times work would be totally undone.

As time went on Anik then began to invoke a power which he had not done with the dagger, his power and his magic of earth. He began to entwine the metaphysical and the physical together, so much to the point where magic was no longer magic, but something entirely twisted with the sword. Anik though, being only a conjurer, wouldn't get much earthen magic out of himself, but some was better than nothing. Next came the magic of air. Being that air and earth seemed always at odds with each other, he did not try to force them together. Instead he twisted them around each other. Like a checkers board that kept breaking itself down into smaller and smaller spaces, until there was nothing but grey to someone who viewed it.

At this point Anik began to shape the metal, now bound with a interweaving weave of earth and air elements, he could continue with the shaping. At this point the natural heat of the thing began to dissipate until there was just a small red glow coming from the rod. The rod began to warp and shape itself, flowing like water around itself; its metal literally moving by rows of atoms into the shape it was needed. This process would look something like a shimmer that wove itself around the rod, with each pass the shape would change, and with each second it would get wider, but thinner.

After hours had gone by, he carefully finished off the materials. The sword itself was amazing, even by Anik’s standards. Its core was the titanium alloy with trace metals, the combination gave it amazing strength and the ability to withstand shock and pressure, it gave it the minor flexibility it needed... millimeters of bend and shift. Its outside had a lot more carbon in it (if by a lot meaning a jump from the .0001%'s to the .1%'s). The outside was stronger but less flexible. The edges and point of the sword were sharp enough that the damn well might cut through whatever it went though, and as a rapier, stabbing meant it would move through tissue like water, and also had the benefit of a tactile use as a saber. Its edges on the molecular scale were diamonds micro-serrated to the point of atoms, which made it quite literally "hard as diamond" and literally be able to cut a hair in two... long-ways. The tip itself was completely made of diamond, since the tip was in need of the strongest material, and had no need for flexibility, this only made sense, the diamond for some strange reason seemed to hold on to the metal instead of being 'inter-twisted' at the edges like Anik usually did. The twisting of earth and air magic literally driven into the making of the sword at the atomic level made the thing even more deadly.

But it wasn't quite done yet... Anik took the blade and pointed it at his hand. He then proceeded to cut himself slowly, which because of the sharpness took no effort except to bare the pain. As blood rain down the sword it began to seep into it, making a permanent red stain down the middle.

Re: (Anik) The Lesser Bounty

Anik smiled looking at the Oath Sword... how fun it would be to make a real Oath Sword. He would have to talk to a Callisti about that. Anik thought about it for a moment before, he thought it was time to test the sword. He went over to the table and picked it up. He almost wants to call out to the other god so he has an audience. He looked down the table... he makes a few light jabs at the thing, seeing it cause almost inch thick marks. He then moves back and gets ready to make a move that he would almost for sure never use the sword for... he chops straight down, and cleave the heavy wooden table nearly in two. The only reason it stands is because it was wider than the sword's blade with length was. He smiled put his hand on the wood and repaired it in a second. Looking underneath the table to the floor below he quickly repaired that two... the slash had put a several inch deep gash in it. He moves over the iron rods and grabs three of them. He thins out one and make its longer, puts it on the table. He then proceeds to make several short chops downward, cutting the iron bar like a chef does a carrot.

Now was time for the real test. He repaired the iron bar and then put all the three bars on the table. He then activated the sword. A small hissing noise could be herd by Anik. He power swung the sword down... it not only cleaved through the iron bars and the wood, but Anik misjudged the swords own driving power and it drove straight into the floor... only stuck up by the hilt. "Opps... I better add the grip." he said going over to the leather he put it on the hilt and slowly it began to fuse with the handle. He held it tight in his hand, so it had a grip fitted to him. There were small ripples around the leather to improve the hold.

If everything went well with the Viper he would begin making a suitable sheath for it out of steal, leather, and oaken trim. The sheath funny enough was more to protect Anik from nicks when he was wearing the sword. Also he would never actually draw the sword... he could just pull the thing going straight through the sheath! But still he wanted it to be beautiful because The Viper was being carried in it.

Now that Anik was done with the sword and sheath. He began to wonder about some things he might need.

Being a very orderly and thoughtful god he sat down at the table and made a list on some parchment:
Water-Breathing Item
Counter Pressure Item
Darkvision Item
Swimming Equipment

Since he lacked more than basic water magic, using magic power in an item wasn't going to cut it. But air magic. Perhaps if he could preform a ritual this time, using it to infused a container with vast amounts of air, that combined with a mask of some sort that allows him to breath. Fortified Aluminum would do the job this time, which meant more transmutation. He began to close up the shop with the stone windows and doors again. This time though the touched the forge and begin to alter it first so it was more suited to transmutation since he didn't need to manually forge things. He allowed for the vent that led upward to be wider at the top and narrower at the bottom so hot air would literally be sucked out that way.

He than began the transmutation processes once more to get a greater supply of aluminum. While working he was think of such a ritual that would allow him to enchant a something to hold vast amounts of air without blowing up.

Re: (Anik) The Lesser Bounty

Unfortunately, Anik was only a Basic student of the field of Air. He knew that it was impossible at his current magical ability level to conjure an infinite amount of oxygen within a tank, but he also knew that - if he could just figure out the right patterns, gain the right state of mind! - he could contain a massive amount of air within a very small space - perfect, unfortunately, for the diving gear. Unfortunately, his typically keen brain couldn't think of the proper ritual..

Soon a large supply of aluminum had been conjured by the adept hands of Anik, and the forge was readied.

However..

A thought struck Anik.

Water..

Anik could enact a ritual to enchant the things with the property to resist water. It may still be very difficult for him to stay down in the depths for a large amount of time.. no, no, it wouldn't work. What if he filled small pods - that would normally contain air - with water enchanted to process oxygen? It would be tricky, and take a few days of experimentation, and Anik knew that if he wanted to continue on this path he would need to meditate on the idea for a solid day. Thus the magical operation would begin - he would be assaulted with ideas, then.

Re: (Anik) The Lesser Bounty

Anik would think on it a bit more, as his powers grew to rapidly now to consider making something so specific. Perhaps something later.

He began to think instead of making a body-gaurd. Mythcrafting instantly came to mind, and something he loved doing. But before he should even try to mythcraft he needed the nessicary... he could try runes, but he had knowlage of a different sort of mythcrafting. Stone-information centers. He would experiment later with a combination of Rune and stone Mythcrafting, but now he wanted to try out the stones.

He would first need to gather the nessicary stones and would need to refined them. He began with the diamond. Easy enough to get from carbon, he went over the the forge and and began to burn some wood, frowing as he knew this ment he would have to clean it later, but burning wood was one of the easist ways to get near pure carbon, and was a lot faster than his own power. While the wood was burning though he began to think of the other resources he would need.

Opal was made of water and shaped Scilicon Dioxied. Scilicon Dioxied or Quarts, was one of the most common minerals found in the earth. He went outside, looking for flint, sand, sandstone, granite... though any large boulders would contain enough traces to suck out into a small rock (the size just large enough to get stuck in your shoe and annoy you). He spent a good couple of hours on this gathering of quarts allowing the burning wood to move down to a smolder. Once he had enough though he would go back to the workshop. Getting water would be easy enough later, he set the small quarts stone on the table while he inspected the wood and ashes. Still hot, he wondered about the next minerals.

The rest would all contain elements that were a pain in the butt to find out in the wood... he would also need a lot more Quarts since all of them seemed to contain some bonded to it. He looked at the iron bars. His knowlage of chemestry and physics now would indeed speed up the trasmutation process, but it was still something of a hassel.

The good news was, after the wood had burned itself out in the forge, he would have enough carbon for him to make several diamonds. After useing a poker to churn the ashes and disperse what little heat was left he put his hand in them. Suddenly the powery ash was more like liquid and began to have waves and bubble and then it seemed like it was all connected. Soon the ashes began to turn into something like a charcol, then coal, then they began to harden and condense into graphite. Taking the graphite and wood remaines petrified within, he needed. This left a very clean forge since all of it had been harded.

He then went ouside to get rid of the waste. The irregularly shaped pile of graphite soon began to bubble once more and turn over itself. Out of the botem came what looked like white dust, then saw dust, then some blackened chunks of wood. What remained though was pure graphite which twisted itself then like a liquid form into a ball and rehardened. Anik touched the ball with two hands and it elongated soon forming two balls about the size of his fists. He took them both inside so he could sit down for the hard work.

This would take a couple of hours, but soon the graphite began to form itself into a much clearer and glass like substence. Anik didn't worry so much on refining the stuture of the diamond as long as it was diamond. In the end he had a diamond about the size of a regular human fist...

Anik's word was hard, but profitable. Soon, graphite and quart had been created in front of him..

Now all he had to do was to give the rocks metaphysical weight. They were jewels, perhaps, but not Jewels - they required his divine will to become true Mythcraftable items.

Re: (Anik) The Lesser Bounty

((Wow... you are tired since I even PLed a summary, I was geting quartz and diamond... close, but not all the way.))

Mythcrafting would come later... he wasn't done.

Now that he had the first two ingredients the time came when he would have to transmute once more. He began going through the motions again, going from window to window then to the door sealing the place up. After that he grabbed some iron rods, this time he would get as much silicon as he could right now. Now he knew from chemistry that iron was a larger atom than silicon. In fact, so far iron was the largest atom he had worked with which is another reason he could easily see why he liked using it… he was “peeling” instead of “pushing” going to less complex systems were always easier. Ironically the theory of “Lead into gold” would be much easier than “gold into lead”. But back to the business at hand.

After learning what he had about physics and chemistry, he knew now what he was doing was a controlled nuclear reaction, the “energy of the atom” which he was moving were bits and pieces of atoms, breaking down and then reassembling themselves into what he needed. Before he was literally breaking the entire atom and reapplying it. But now that he had his research he could just “knock off” by adding some “energy” in the form of a various radiation with his own power to control where and how everything reacted. He had laughed, all he his powers were doing were applying pressure at the atomic level, which both made his power seem incredibly weak, yet at the same time, earned a certain amount of respect for the level of control and preciseness of that, because a couple neutrons in the wrong place around the atomically unstable iron… ment a large explosion that could take out a good group of trees, which around here, was a block. Something he knew before… but still, it was interesting to know the why, and with the presence of radioactive chemicals, that meant there were a whole bunch of possibilities in the way of weapons. Of course he would have to figure out how exactly to detonate them not using his touch-power.

He put this out of his mind and went back to the task at hand… transmuting the iron. Gathering the small stone balls, his source for the radiation needed to cause the unstable atoms, and the iron itself by the forge. He picked up one length and put it over where the fire had been. Holding the ball it took him a couple minutes to begin to turn the rod red, then white. After that he held the ball near the iron and once again the white line shot between them. The ionization, and radiation of the air.

This time it was easier, and faster, just as he suspected, he also felt that there was bit more control since he was no longer going with gut, but making micro-decisions as he went, measuring with his senses the previously unnamed feelings. Not now though, he could feel which radiation was where, gamma, neutrons, alpha, beta, electrons, ect… they all had their feel.

After he was done he with the first bar he went on to the other two.

Anik stops when he considers his (limited, perhaps) knowledge of physics: the amount of energy required to rework iron, the stablest of elements, into silicon would crack the Realm in twain.. he could continue, but the storm unleashed would destroy most of the Realm..

Re: (Anik) The Lesser Bounty

Anik sweated as his task was almost complete. There was still one more thing he had to do, and was crystallizing and minute creation of elements, then dispersion, and absorption of air... oh the list of things could go on. At times Anik knew he had to work tirelessly before. But now was not one of them.

He stretched for a rest outside of the workshop and watched the beauty of the town. Hours went by but Anik being a "experience" immortal being, was adept at seeing things move in "fast motion". The sun moved through the sky at degrees a second, while bird seems to dart from tree to tree. He could see the branches swaying back and fourth and the grass growing at the speed of a snail....

He took a deep breath and time seemed to slow down back to normal. He went back inside the workshop. And took one more iron bar. There was one last transmutation to do, and that was to get all the other non-primary ingredient. He held the bar over the unlit forge once more, the last stone ball in his hand.

He didn't need the massive amounts of energy like he did last time. Nearly everything he made now was another metal, so it was a bit easier... just a bit though. He concentrated on making the elements he needed and then quickly reacted them to the other metals in there, along with the needed carbon, oxygen, and helium from the air to create a stable crystal.

In the end a rod made of several different colours and crystals was before him. Since he had made it as he went down the rod, it was a bit funny to see his "progress shades" from the red to where heavy chromium deposits were made, to the silver of the aluminum, which moved on the purple, then black, then a lime green. Each row having it own texture and gloss, and in between rows a sort of "fusion" between them.

He took this over to the quartz and silicon he had gathered earlier. Focusing on the material he had... all the ingredients needed to make the physical part of the Mythcrafting Stones. Next he would begin the combination of elements. It looked much like someone blowing glass as the materials seemed to liquefy themselves and then begin to spin rising into a twisted column. Colors merged together in a tie-die pattern as a sort of spinning disk appeared at the top of the column. The large surface area allowed him to snatch needed elements out of the air with each pass, the spinning keeping him from trying to get them repeatedly out of the same spot. Soon though the spinning slowed as the colors begin to settle in "rings".

Anik then "peeled" off the first ring and it formed into a perfect sphere of Opal.
The green that came next could not be mistaken as the Emerald green was legendary.
Next was a blood red Ruby, its dark chromium laced veins deep secrets of magic of the would-be creature.
The next ring was royal purple, his preferred color than the normal blue of Sapphires.
Funny enough the next ring wasn't crystalline and it turned smooth, white, and reflective Peral.
The earth tone of Topaz couldn't be mistaken next.
Finally the Lazuli or more commonly known as Lapis, was the final rind turned into solid stone.

He had all mythcrafting stones needed, except they weren't yet myhcrafting stone, just ordinary stones. That would come next.

Re: (Anik) The Lesser Bounty

Anik now rested and thought. He let several days of rest and planning go by before he would actually get to work. He would need to make a solid physical design before he started on the mythcrafting stones.

Eventually though he thought of a ingenious plan for a mythcrafting being... one that would be flesh but not of flesh, supernatural, yet technical. It would be perhaps on of his granest acheivements once he made it. He formulated the plan both on in his mind with key indicators and equations on the tables. It was utter nonsese and nothing but a true mad god might understand it, unless of course they were a clone of Anik.

Anik would not be able to craft this creature totally now... but still plans would have to be made, and it would need considerable work.

Anik himself was suited for crafting, and very adept at doing so, but perhaps something that was like Anik in looks, but not in feature. Something that was Anik the Warrior instead of Anik the Crafter. Anik of course would need to be kept safe when it was fighting, but also at the same time be able to offer support. So then Anik came up with something called a "Battle Body".

The idea was that the Battle Body would fight with Anik inside of him, this would allow Anik to maintain the creature from within both with magic and his own abilities as support. The body would control all movements and thought processes, though would have a direct mental link to its user.

So then physically he required intensl (almost insainly) strong material that could make up the body as well as perhaps some additional technological features. He began thinking hard of both technical, supernatural, and biological components needed.

Since the information reletive to something like this would be "top secret". Anik would unfortunatly need to remove the Oath Sword for now. He went outside, touched the wood of the workshop to make a hook and then placed the chain around it. Anik then went back inside to make his plans, and to see what he need.

Re: (Anik) The Lesser Bounty

((OK its been 6 days and I haven't gotten a response so I'm going to say I'm going to craft somethings in a massive post.))

1: Modifying the Scuba equipment.

Anik though for all his wonderful plans, was not yet up to such a daunting task. He shelved the project (quite literally putting the plans on a blank spot on the shelf) and then began working at the task at hand. Crafting for underwater adventure. He already had a Scuba tank which he hastily would begin to modify.

He went over and study the components. It was simple, ingenious, and totally mechanical relying on the pressure of the water itself to deliver the right pressure to your lungs. It would also do the same for the vest you wore to attain buoyancy in the water. Though while simple and would work at lower depths he needed something that would be better for higher pressures, he also needed a lot more air. But the best thing he might be able to do is to preserve the amount of air he had naturally I mean in a normal tank there was about 90cubic feet of air already... which if the pressure never got down below = to 10 meters under water, could last him up to an hour and a half of breathing time. So he decided he needed to do 2 things: One, make the suit resist water pressure. Two, he needed to cause the tank to be able to hold higher air pressures (that fact alone would mean it would resist the water pressure). Then there was the air inside... if there was more space or air inside without causing extream pressure(or atleast increating the amount of air in there without increasing the pressure). It would be tricky but he thought perhaps he could do it.

His eye's widend and he laughed. "Too technical... too techncial" He said. Of course all of that would still play in, but he had a different plan for the tank.

He first took the diving suit he would be using, and of course the regulator. He left the workshop and went to the nearest well, pond, stream, or bucket of water he could find. This would allow him to get the suit wet, thus having the element of water present. He then conjured up more with some magic until the thing was soaked. Suddenly then he focused on the suit and he began to rework its structure at the very core of its making. Weavings of the supernatural into the nature began to occur, and the wetsuit would use water aginst water, using the water inside the suit to turn it into a "pressure repelent" water would push with all its might aginst the suit but it would not bend to its will and keep the wearer. The regulator would push air out at a normal sea-level flow.

That was the easy part. The hard part was the tank. The infusion of two magics, especially the conversion would be hard to attain. He brought the tank out to the water source and submerged it. Here he began to convert it a bit. Keeping the air inside at the same extream pressure it would be at. But first the tank itself would begin to open on the end... but air did not come out, but in intially. He made sure there was a "reverse" switch in which he could blast out all the stored air and turn the thing into an under-water rocket, but then doing so would mean holding his breath for a minute while he resupplied the air reserve should he totally deplete it. He turned the bottem of the tank into a sort of "supernatural valve" which allow things in but not out (initially), then came the tricky pater. Using the earth of the metal, the air of the high pressure, and the water it was submerged in, he began to create a supernatural vortex in which anything that when it would be trasformed into normal. Air, of course magic alone wouldn't be able to do this. Instead he had to use his own power. Anik took his knife out and cut his hands... the Left hand of Destruction, and the Right hand of Creation. Together with control they formed trasmutation. The blood flowed out of Anik's body, and he could feel himself getting weaker... the water and soon looked like it got sucked up into the tank. There anything that entered the tank would be swirled around the tanks core where the trasmution would occur.

Anik was beginning to sweat and get pal as nearly two pints of blood left his body and went into the trasfution of the entering water (or even other air that was not normal). Once it was done he lifted the tank by the traps and panted heavily. He looked on the scars on his hand and used what minor power he had to repair and stop the bleeding (though they weren't "healed"). He wouldn't be able to use his blood for a project for a while.

He bran the newly traformed Scuba equipment back to the workshop. He would need some rest now before he continued.

Long story short:
Scuba suit- Resists extream pressure, turning it into a small fraction of what it is.
Scuba tank- Open hole at the bottem can take in things (like flowing water or the surrounding air) then inside the tank it is trasmututed into air. This allows him to "resupply" himself with air even if he's not at the surface. But normally the valve is "off" and he just uses air from the tank. He can go into "reverse" which is exactly like a ballon when it gets released, it goes flying forward! Though this lowers the air supply quickly (gitting rid of a minutes worth of air in a second).

He now though had a job to do. Hopefully the Callisti would be here by now, but if not he would have to wait for it. He went and got the scuba suit and put it on he felt silly having no water anywhere near him, if the Callisti came he would brief him about the message and the job, then head over to Konung's Realm.

Re: (Anik) The Lesser Bounty

Appearing back here Anik sighed and began to take off all of the Scuba equipment. He then put back on his old cloths and took the time to write a simple, yet detailed, report to the conclave.

Seeing that the Calisti was there, he goes ahead and takes the Callisti oath.

After doing that he decided he would get the easier commission out of the way first.

Time to craft! This made Anik very happy. He readied his workshop. The first thing he needed was Carbon, lots and lots of Carbon. He began burning some wood (and then burning it again until there was nothing left but ash) He then separated out all of the carbon and began to bond it together into graphite.

After that he went and sealed up the workshop, gathered more stone balls, and began to create some more advanced materials. A plethora of chemicals to which he could easily assign to synthetic martial. This would allow for him to bond

Now just simple carbon bonds would not be enough. He needed to shape each individual bond creating chain reactions within until finally the nano-crystalline-tubes began to appear within. It started out small just a speck on the black heap, but then it began to grow seemingly sucking in the black dirty rock. At first it looks a lot like dirty diamond, but then as time went on it began to get dark once more, as the intertwining of the tubes created a superstructure within the material. It soon took a look more akin to stone or granite, but Anik would insured that it would be as smooth as glass. Taking some leftover silicon he went ahead and bonded the outer edges enough so that any repair to the dents, nicks, and scratches (however unlikely with just noncrystalline) would just take some heat and a hammer to repair it. He also fused into the gemstone shield a small inner frame of carefully synthesized advanced materials... aka plastics. Not just your ordinary Tupperware through. A standard bullet would find trouble penetrating this, and it would make it over all a lighter and larger shield. This also allowed for Anik to produce the effects of molding when he fit it to Maxilita. It would have a handle and small forearm bracer to which she should hold it with.

All in all the shield was just 13 lbs and was an effective medium shield. The heart had the "small shield" she had wanted made of the hyperdiamond and silicon. This gave the center a dull-gray stony look, except it would sparkle off of light. The thing was reflective and dense enough that even a laser would lose all potency once it hit the hyperdiamond. The expanded plastic parts Anik could easily shape to anything he wanted with his abilities, they would also hold up to extreme heat and impact. High caliber metallic bullets would only be able to penetrate the outside edges of the shield. Diamond bullets put holes in the plastic parts, but would bounce right off the hyperdiamond, infact even other hyperdiamond wouldn't be able to get through due to the high density and non-compressibility.

After all of the physical work was almost done... he stopped. The shield wasn't complete yet, but that was on purpose. The template was incomplete, and so he could still infuse power into it. He set it down and stopped to consider what he should do about it's infusion. He first thought about what the girl was using it for, and her sword, and he got an idea.

He began to gather as much luck and life magic as he would. The two L's combined very well, twisting their way into a pattern which he was able to place inside the shield. Anik tried to preserve room for magic inside of it by allowing for the magic to have a switch and flow. The diamond allows a large amount of positive magical energy to be stored, and the advanced plastic direct them, but he wanted a bit more than that. The shield would literally suck the life and luck out of things that attack it, transferring the positive too the user. In addition to this, it could also be used as a trasformer, turning life of the user into extreme bursts of luck. The inner crystal was a work of wonder, twisting the patters and inverting them almost physically! It would even be possible for someone to use the shield as a magical transformer... using life-magic to increase one's luck or vice verse.

He also used his greater knowledge of abjuration to protect object itself from energy-harm. The plastic began to glow with a white light, causing the hyperdiamond to sparkle. He wasn't quite done yet, but the shield disappeared though paradox. He would finish it at the funeral.

LIST OF THINGS THAT NEED DOING

1. Due to the steady growth of industry within Bounty, the town's water supplies have fallen ill, and many have fallen ill. The elders request that action towards purifying the waters is taken.
2. The Realm of Bounty was once well-mapped and explored, but time has passed and the geography of the place has been lost to the mists. The elders request exploration.
3. The orthodox temples of Lord Anik are showing their distress towards the fast-growing Reversalist Cult and wish for their Lord to smite the wicked.
4. More minerals are needed for the workshops, as mining operations have all but halted and materials are extremely thin.
5. In relation to point 4, several merchants within the city express their interest in a 'paratrade route', which Anik gathers is a reference to one of the ancient trade routs that spanned Realms from Bounty. They are eager to find new wealth.
6. The chief administrator of Bounty, the Observer, is refusing to do his job - but blocks all attempts to replace him. Find a suitable replacement or convince the Observer to work.
7. There are rumours of a serial killer free on the streets of Bounty. A corpse showed up yesterday morning, but the military are keeping it very hush as they don't want to cause a panic.

Anik nodded. "Thank you Eilduen. Show me to the water supply please and have someone fetch the Observer, tell him I wish to speak with him." Along the way he addressed the other issues. "I can buy minerals I have limited income towards the godly markets. If the crafters are able produce things I could sell it might cover the costs for importing material. Do well enough and they might be able to make a profit. I'll go over this with whoever is in charge of trade after I've taken care of more important things. As for the Revivalists, I will speak to them after I am done with the water. Would you mind telling me what the different temple fractions are about?"

Re: (Anik) The Lesser Bounty

As Eilduen brought his Lord to the system of wells that rested, comfortably, within the near center of Bounty, a servant was sent to find the Observer.

A the question of temple factions, Eilduen paused, weighing his answer.

"Lord, most of your people are still loyal to the old temples, to the traditions and ways of the past, to the religion that has served as the spiritual and ethical backbone of this place for thousands of years, maybe longer. But lately - in the wake of your, hmm, pre-return - certain schismatic conflicts in ideology and scripture have came, resulting in the fracture of the core temple body.

"Perhaps the most, um, harmless - while still relatively useful - faction are the Children of the Forge. They believe that the only way to truly experience you, my Lord, the true divine, is to raft and to build and to create - through the flames of the forge do they reach their faith. This is in opposition to the orthodox temples who believe your life, philosophy, and dogma are the most important aspects of worship. While there are often conflicts between the two, for the most part they get along fine.

"The most troubling sect are the Reversalists, who oppose both the Children of the Forge and the orthodoxy. This cult believes that the recent industrial, modernistic revolutions that have been a boon to Bounty have caused it more harm than good, and that the end result of all the forging and crafting is ultimate destruction of the habitat - which is, I might add, supported by no evidence. They wish to abolish all industrial crafts and trades, and have attacked and destroyed two temples in their crusade."

"This is disturbing." He says while looking into the well, using his power to see what the trouble with the water is. "As for the difference between the orthodox and the Children of the Forge views, they are both correct, it just goes with personal preference I would think. That and it would be foolish of me to think that there is more than just religion involved, especially when one's god is here in the flesh. I suspect politics have just as much to do with divisions of the temple than philosophical views. But attacks on others... is unacceptable." He paused for a while going back to figuring out what was wrong with the water. He went to each well first using his legend power to seek out any knowledge there, especially looking for any supernatural effects. After his legend power he pulled up some water and used his crafting powers to determine the makeup of the water.

Anik immediately saw the problem with the water supply: the underground lake with which the wells drew their water had been poisoned. Not with any conventional toxin, however, but with the bodies of the dead - he saw ten, fifteen corpses floating within the darkest liquid.

Anik frowned. "Time to get my scuba diving equipment again. There are 15 dead bodies in the underground lake. I will need to extract and examine them." Anik touched the well and concentrated for a few moments building a ladder going down made out of the stone and earth itself. He would still tie a rope around him just in case. He was at first impressed that the ground hadn't given way with sinkholes, but then he realized that underground lake could easily be a tunnel system, and that these massive trees which buildings were made into could easily hold the soil and even create the cavern system for the water. Another reason the trees could grow so large and stay so healthy he assumed. He used his own powers on the ground to confirm this before walking over to his workshop to gather his diving gear. The goggles that could see in the dark would prove, once again, very useful.

After getting his Diving suit he would bring it to the well closest to the bodies then change into it.

The wetsuit stuck to Anik's body. He knew that the trees would hold the earth securely - this was the reason why Bounty had been, well, so bountiful. Everything came from the trees: fresh water, food, comfort..

"B-bodies, Lord? What, uh, what sort of bodies.. ?" asked Eidulan.

As Anik was preparing, a tall, bulky man with straight black hair and a withering smile came towards them and bowed before Anik.

"Lord, I am the Observer. You have called.. ?"

"Dead ones." he answered simplisticly.

Life-supporting life. As it was supposed to be, everything in balance, everything in use. He knew that should he leave the bodies the trees would absorb the corpses as nourishment, but unfortunately the Bosmer would be more nourishment if the bodies weren't removed and the water's cleaned.

"Good. Now I asked for a census done, and for the priest to list the most important problems for the village. The water being number one. You were on that list Observer. The report said you haven't been doing your job and thus all the administrators are having to go through hoops to get things done without you. This is of course, just one perspective, and I don't judge on first glance. But there is a reason for every complaint as I asked specifically nothing petty be put on there. I would like to hear your side of the story before I go down, that way I may consider."
Anik struggled a bit getting the second arm in the sleeve. When not wet, the suit was like putting on a rubber shirt, a pain. He continued to get ready waiting for a response from the man.

Anik realized that the man, despite his youthful looks, was quite old - small creases along the face coupled with tiny streaks of grey betrayed his young appearance.

"But I have a new purpose. I was staring at the stars one night several months ago, and I saw the most wondrous thing.. a burning, ruby star, illuminating the sky with it's splendour. No one else seemed to mind - I had to climb to the top of the trees just to make good observation of it. The star calls me. Occasionally it returns at night, fickle as all, to taunt me, to spur me on.. I must reach it. I must. I do not wish to abandon my work, Lord, but.. this is a matter of the soul."

He thought it might be something like that, that's why he wanted to keep a close eye on the man. The man might prove most useful in experiments. He got the long rope used for pulling up water and unfasoned it. "Get some soldiers here. I will one body on the rope at a time. Then I will pull the rope back and forth like this." He showed a very deliberate pull that wouldn't be mistake with just jostling. He then put the goggles over his head and went down the ladder into the well and underground lake. Once down in the water he would instantly use Lore to make sure that he was alone in the depths. Then he would keep a bit of water magic ready to pull out in case he needed it.

Something splashed in the water. Fish, probably. A large collection of fish..

Re: (Anik) The Lesser Bounty

((remember the Lens of Crailek would allow me to see down here))

Anik used water magic to harden the water around him, not into ice but like a "water armor", no need to get bitten. As an extra precaution he increased the pressure around him (something his suit was made to withstand), so fishes' natural tendency would be to swim away. He went to the first body and tied the rope on the man's waist. He then tugged the rope 3 times like he showed them so they could pull the body up. He would coast with the body to the well entrance guiding the rope and getting any snags out. If all went well he did this with all body's until they were all up there.

Anik

The body started to rise, and Anik with it. The body was cold and damp and pale and eyeless. As he rose, something lashed out towards him - a school of vicious, red-eyed, insect-like fish. They missed Anik, however, and he was disturbed to hear their screeches as they were struck by the pockets of pressure. The thing was imminently familiar.. Anik was sure that it was what his memories suggested: perhaps an evolved form of the ancient Swarm, forced to feed on bodies dumped in the under-river..

Crailek

He was in a small glade, surrounded by torches. There were the Bosmer about him - some sleeping, some meditating. He was in a field of relaxation, it seemed, and felt immediately calmed by the very presence of the acts about him.

Anik reached out and severed the rope from the body with just a touch, simple separating it into two different pieces. He let the body drop. He strengthened the water around his body by condensing it into ice with his power (combining with the already magically made "liquid armor"). He let go of the pressure he wanted to be able to touch or brush against any of the fish in the swarm as they came by, but still be defended enough against their attack.

Anik felt another presence in Bounty.

As he crashed back into the depths, the body with him, he was attacked again by the Swarm of fishes. He got a closer look; they seemed to have the shells of beetles, but with small flippers and the tails of fish.. as they brushed against him, his mind gathered information regarding the things.. it was confirmed that they were, in actuality, the original Swarm.. forced to live underground after the disappearance of Anik.. worshiped by a certain cult within Bounty as a life-bringer, offered sacrifices - usually once a year, but more and more with the rebirth of Anik..

Anik looked around. "How... How did I get out of the well?" He was thoroughly confused but he guessed it was for the best. And of course he was wet, but he had scuba gear on after all. He shook his head. "No time to worry about this now." he told him. "I have a very powerful and prestigious being coming here. To meet with me. Priest, the water supply is poisoned by sacrificial bodies to the swarm, a being that was once a Guardian of the realm. So in other words, don't mess with it. Instead all drinking water is to be distilled. Just in case." Anik touched the priest and suddenly he would know how to distill water. "A gift of knowledge."

Anik took off the scuba suit and with a brush of magic he was dry all the water in a circle around him. He put on his normal cloths and allowed the funeral dress on him to appear from his Valley self to this one. "Crailek. Simply put. I will be working closely with the conclave in many technical fields, but know that my allegiance will always be to old friends before new responsibility. As for who the Logorgos is, I think I have an idea.. when Lictros, curse his name, purged the Conclave of some of its finest members, Balverstus the most prominent among them, I set him up with my brother - a weapons merchant named Xakuu. Xakuu was - still is - our pin on the Earthborn blackmarket, specifically on contraband weaponry, and it was easy enough for him to smuggle Balverstus out.."

He smiled, shook his head.

"I prattle again. I was to be the Logorgos of Anvildramadum, for Balverstus hadn't yet had a Systemarch he could trust enough with the knowledge besides me, but a time never came up.. and I couldn't when he was cast out. "Master Roid..." He wasn't sure if he should comfort the man, Anik wasn't good with other emotions unless he was manipulating them, but when it came to honest tears, Anik seemed a bit sensitive to them. "I understand but know that I will do more than try my hardest. I will rebuild the Mighty Hammer. Thank you for the information. Oh and about the Returned Gods, I'll see what I can do."</DarkGreen>

Anik mentally went through the list of stuff he had to do:
Max's experiments (ironically something he had intended to do before assigned)
The Old Man's Bomb
A Realm Healing Device
Mythcraft his Battle Guard
Gift for Crailek
and many other things.

"Thank you, Anik," said Roid. "I regret, also, that I cannot grant you access to the Tower of Anik - that's in the hands of Lharazed, and while I'll talk to him, we've never gotten along very well before. I can tell you, though, that I when I last spoke to Xakuu he wanted to meet Balverstus's champion and avenger - the boy you're studying, Max. Perhaps you can find more information from the so-called 'hero'. I personally think he is a deeply foolish individual with no real merit towards the Conclave proceedings, but there are those who beg to differ.. perhaps he can be your lead."

Anik smiled. "So then the Systemark mind reading is true?" He wanted to ask about that but didn't dare suggest a legal way in before he was ready, lest this throw obstacles in his way, also of course friends were something to build up. He detected the entrance into his realm. "Yes, it seems he's on his way here."

"Yes, the Systemarch species have natural psychic affinities, in direct line with the maturation of their fangs," he said. Roid grinned, showing a full set of teeth. "Only Councilmen are allowed to fully grow their teeth out, however."

Roid nodded.

"Good. You can ask Max here. However, I really must go - have you heard that the Valley of Mist has come under assault by Sura, minion of the Dreaded Lord. Inform Max that if he wishes to fight in that battle he is encouraged to do so, but finish your business with him first. I bid you good day."

With that, Roid wandered off, disappearing entirely.

Anik felt that a Divine spark still remained - Max. Very shortly, he saw Max walk into the glade where he was found.

The shield had slipped into hammerspace; taking it's place on her back was a lengthened, weighted version of her blade, one meant for a person of immense strength.

Max had changed dramatically; her hair was now a deep red, and she had matured into a woman. She wore a simple black cape, and a flattering white-and-blue outfit. She, was, in a word, beautiful.

She smiled at Anik across the glade, waving. "Anik! Nice to see you again!"

"Ah my lady warrior. I thought your speech would be the end of you, but it seems that fate's protection, and certain councilmen's, shines greatly on you. Personally I don't believe in fate as objective as that, but I must quell my own bias and stick with only the empirical evidence presented." He motioned Max to follow him. "Ironically both your payment to me and my Low Lord Task happened to deal with the same issues. The first thing I will need is your blood, just a sample though. After that I can begin with tissue samples, next I will begin a full theomagnetic spectrogram followed by physical, mental, magical, divine, and combat tests. All of this will be followed by a psych exam and interview. In the end I will accomplish 4 goals. I will be able to explain both your abnormally effective intertwining with fate or luck or whatever it is. I will be able to duplicate, to a point, the effects. Your own abilities, with greater understanding and perhaps a bit of my assistance, will be heightened. And finally both your debt to me, and my task will be solved."

Anik wanted no misunderstandings, about this either, so he continued, not waiting for any response. "Of course I expect your full cooperation for the sake of your debt to me, the conclave orders, my own orders, any respect you have for science, and finally if all else fails self-gain. Upfront I will warn you that some of the tests will be painful, but not torture, everything will be healed and everything ethical. As for any samples taken to you, they will belong to myself, not you."

Anik smiled a warm friendly smile as they finally got back to the town, again, not waiting for a response he continued. "But before any of this begins, I want you to help me on a little errand, it seems there is a lost grand workshop of mine somewhere in the realm, the priest knows where, and he lost the key. He doesn't know I found it at this incarnations birth ironically. I shall pay you 200 conclave stones to act as my bodygaurd as we enter the place, just incase there are any (as I expect there will be) unknown defenses or residence. Besides, I want to see you, and my shield, in action."

He went to find the priest to ask him where the ancient workshop was, now if Max wanted to say something along he way, there was an opening for him to speak.

Anik touches the stump and instantly fuses it together (something akin to cauterization but less painful as he simply disconnected any nerves). "In a bit." He quickly puts protections around themselves making their skin seem like it was giving off the heat of a flame (as that is what leech feared). It is an illusion anything nearby and able to would sense.

He then looked towards the man in the flying ship. "Aye. Keep heading south until you reach my village in the main valley, It's pretty sizable. Unload the materials there." He gets a piece of paper and it suddenly has a written note.

*To the Bosmer
*These are the materials which were requested.
*Please send all class B materials to my workshop,
* the man will point out which ones are.
*Please don't use them all at once, remember to share.
*
*Anik

He rolls up the note and ties a string around it. Then uses air magic to lift the note up to them man.

Re: (Anik) The Lesser Bounty

Once he had dealt with the trader and made sure they were both protected from the leeches. He was about to heal her when he stopped. "You know. Why waste the magic when your about to die?" He was obviously disappointed about something, but he went ahead and healed the arm. He pulled the divine energy and life energy from the old one but still keeping it physically separate (that way the leech wouldn't be inside her body) and should make it a lot easier to heal since the divine and life energy would actually help the process.

This should leave the old arm a dry husk, decaying rapidly.

The land leveled out, and soon was flat. The sun began to rise. Soon, the river was rushing past them. There were certain lagoons and watering holes along its bank, and it was at one of these that they met the Architect, purple eye emblazoned in paint upon his forehead, unarmed. Dressed in heavy robes brown.

"Welcome, friends," he said, smiling. "It is good to meet fellow travelers."

Anik looked into the distence. "If your going that way you may come with us. We are heading to an old workshop of mine. Beyond that we cannot spare much time, to much time has been lost already."

Anik will not resist but simply said "I understand, perfectly. Now release me." in quite a calm tone, one devoid of any emotion which he might have previously had when talking to her. Once released he will quickly tell the traveler. "Excuse me one moment." Then looking back at Max continued. "Why do you insist on losing friends and burning every bridge between anyone you come across? I actually felt sorry for you. Wyrn did you a favor! I did you a favor. You would have been KILLED if it weren't for me, Wyrn, and Ruse. Instead you go and challenge Wyrn do a death match, and then react like this after you threaten people in MY realm! I don't know why I bother telling you, you’re so egotistical you'll consider anything I say as some sort of reprimand instead of advice anyway, so instead I am giving you instructions, both as your current employer and the one who you currently owe 2,000 conclave stone to.

1: You are not to speak to anyone in my realm except me or other out-realm visitors. You have interfered enough, and it’s a common courtesy NOT to threaten everyone who you come across, especially those who offer a friendly greeting!

2: You can forget the trip, I shall being the examination now.
Now all that aside, your right, I shouldn’t have tried to hit you. I’m sorry, but damn it woman, your moral compass is so screwed up I can’t believe you can walk straight. Self-Control and Self-Reflection are traits that anyone who denies evil should embrace; lest they find themselves the worse than any evil they come across."

She then spoke to Anik, turning towards him and drawing her blade. "I have been excused from my duties as your shieldmaiden. My higher duty calls. Alkan is under attack by a Mad God. To save the world, I must defeat Chalybis."

She raised the shield she had received from Anik. "This shield was forged in expectance of this battle. If you cannot be there in person, Grand Magus Anik, then you shall at least be there in spirit."

The traveler smiled. Her hair was a deep brown. Her purple third eye, crafted with paint, glimmered slightly. "It's alright, really. I forgive her crimes. Youth can be rash, sometimes. I am actually looking for a certain workshop that I have been told lies along these river banks. there is something within it that I need. A three-thousand year contract must be fulfilled, you see. But I am patient. Content to take my time. I have been a practicing Architect for longer than I can remember."

Anik shook her hand, and saw her. She was telling exactly the truth.. looking for a key, wrought of electronics and strange magic, as promised to her long ago by Anik.. she'd spent her time fighting, worshiping, meditating, writing philosophy.. there were secrets to her, but they were too well-guarded for Anik to find. Her intentions were pure. Old friend?

And there was the fight with Max, and his sudden retreat from Bounty. Doom indeed.

"I am extremely proficient in the art of stave fighting," said the monk, smiling. She twisted the stave and pulled out a long, deadly sharp saber. "And I am perhaps even greater with my swordsmanship. There are those, would you believe, those who would wish a simple Architect harm - or death! It is a strange, wicked world, Anik. Let's strive to keep it that way."

The water became a stunning green as they walked - the product of certain minerals and flora, Anik knew - and then a stunning red. The Architect stopped at this point. They were lined by the beautiful river on one side and cliffs that rose nearly three hundred feet in the air. There were no markings or runes inscribed upon the rock, but to Anik's trained eye - he knew the monk couldn't possibly see it - there was a carved, manufactured look upon the rock. Of course, the look was perfectly natural, but if a Master couldn't recognize his own work..

"We are here," said the Architect. "The map ends here. There is, I was told, a small entrance somewhere within this place. But where.." She smoothed her hand against the rock. There were no caves or other signs of an entrance.

It was time for Anik to break into his own workshop.

Anik suddenly remembers how he was to enter the workshop. The main, 'public' portal into his base of operations was designed to be sealed and practically impossible to enter for those wanting to steal his research or simply to trash a rival.

It had to be opened from the inside.

The cliff went deeper down, he knew, beneath the river, which was much deeper than it looked. He knew that Aqua Anik had to dive into the river, enter the chambers beneath, and begin the unlocking protocol. But to get to the underwater chamber he'd need the key - the orb he'd found at the beginning of it all.

Slowly, the door opened, and Anik found himself within a long chamber filled with machinery - kept dry even as the door had opened by certain scientific forces - and he knew this to be a remote control center. In order to seal the place he'd need to take back the orb, but for now that didn't matter so much. Archaic machinery and strange calculation-machines chattered nearby, perhaps recognizing their creator. The room itself was kept at a cool temperature, with plenty of oxygen, by the vents above.

There was one machine in particular that Anik recognized. All the others simply monitored the activity within certain parts of Bounty and the Workshop itself, storing and encrypting information as it took it, but this was the machine that would open the main portal to his sacred place of construction when he deemed it right. Now, could he remember the protocol: a password. What was it.. ?

He thought for a bit... what would he make the password? It would be simple yet creative he knew. After thinking long and hard he typed in the word. While looking at the screen he saw something. The blinking cursor... it seemed to not to skip blinks some times. Patience was the key. He looked for a moment, waiting. The cursor was in fact blinking not at a steady rate, but one of: |.|..|..|.|.|..|..|.| (each . representing the length of the pause and each | a cursor blip), then skipping one beat exactly in between this pattern. He thought a moment. The patter was a Sine wave obviously, but he wouldn't have made it something anyone could see. That would have only reminded him of... of course! It wasn't just a normal "type in your password" it had to be entered in the exact Sine wave presented. The wave would be consistent... so then what was consistent about himself.

He thought about the consistent things about all his lives. His name and primary domain would always be a part of him. And if each one of the letters in his name A N I K and his domain C R A F T represented a "cursor blip" on a Sine wave... the would in fact cover each one.

He typed it in waiting for the skip of the cursor before typing it in with the blink and then. A.N..I..K.C. R..A..F.T

There are seven calculation-machines in the room, each one designed to gather and regulate information regarding Bounty. The first mapped and analyzed the topographical and meteorological features of Bounty, reading fine; the second mapped the levels of various minerals and chemicals within Bounty's atmosphere, soil and waters, reading fne; the third mapped the native population of Bounty, as well as the flora and fauna patterns, reading mostly fine; the fourth was a security terminal, confirming that the Workshop hadn't been accessed in close to a thousand years, and that the regulatory and scanning options of the terminal had shut down; the fifth mapped the presence of Divine activity within Bounty, reading fine; the sixth mapped, simply by having access to Anik's theoelectromagnetic field, the fall, rise, parabiological and mystical signs surrounding Anik, reading fine.

The seventh, rather bizarrely - using a powerful fusion of divination and electronics - mapped currents of belief and heresy as well as, perhaps more importantly, the various static and ever-shifting magical forces flowing throughout Bounty. The streaks of cold blue representing a sudden vacuum within Bounty did not, alas, read fine.

"Pause the Countdown for opening the workshop." He commanded the computer. First he went over to one that could scan the workshop. He scanned it all... wanting to know everything he could about it before hand.

Then going back over to the station he deepened his Legend to learn when the vacuums began appearing, and tried to feel if there was anything he could do about it from this terminal, and if not where. If Legend-ing didn't work... he asked the computer.

After getting the information he paused for a moment feeling the Tree-time. "Shit, shit, shit! I don't have time for this! Set the countdown to 3 minutes." That would give him more than enough time to get back up there. He then turned and shot back up through the water in his air-bubble he had constantly around him.

He made sure the traveling monk looking architect woman was still there and then waited for the opening, his mind already creating and improving his intended project.

Countdown paused at - 7:45.

The scans routinely failed when asked to monitor the workshop. The innocent explanation given by the terminal is that certain technical issues had occurred within the workshop itself. This was maddeningly vague.

The second machine freely gave its information. The vacuum had occurred roughly half an hour ago, Bounty-time, but no more than ten minutes ago Tree-time.

Countdown reset. Countdown resumed. - 2:58

Through the emerald waters, back onto the shore of the river, the monk waited.

The door opened suddenly, and the craftsman and the monk were met with a massive gushing, an obsidian wave, of black plasma crashed, ever so slowly, across the sand. This was bizarre. Upon touching the plasma, Anik saw that it was the product of a strange fungus, a biological entity designed, apparently, by a rival of his - ever familiar, smoking dark cigarettes, wild hair and yet so alien, so unknown, there was no name or face - and then he was gone.

The fungus had been created to expand upon the consumption of steel, iron, the lesser metals - to work through the door, four hundred feet thick, at the end of the short tunnel. It had failed, starved to death - perhaps when it had reached the mythrolasium, that fusion of mythril and solasium, purest ore harvested from suns, which Anik knew no simple creature should overcome.

He stopped. Two pieces of information - mythrolasium and the shadowy rival. Important..?

"What.. what is this..?" asked the monk, honestly disgusted.

He brain was stirring with questions, thinking simulations, scenarios, all really done subconsciously by now(still took brain power)... this was bad he was annoyed. A rival would throw a hitch in things. A rival meant... even competition. And what was worse is that he needed his memories to gain all the memory. "Alright. Be careful! I have no idea what lies beyond this point."

Anik thought about the pussy plasma ooze... "Still, there is the problem of getting through. Re: (Anik) The Lesser Bounty

Anik separated a piece of flat rock. He took out the rock filled with lady bots and had them begin munching and breeding there way though it until there was no rock left. After a couple minutes and he had enough to fill a 10x10 cm cube (:P not even on full-production since I don't want to strain myself) He removed one more rock. He concentrates on it as if he was crafting, but let his Ladybots help. Soon the rock became one of his "crafting rods" in which he had all the elements needed to make something. This included non-radioactive uranium and thorium, A plethra of metals, silicon, carbon, and different crystals. Most of Ladybots (which to the naked eye grouped together look like a black liquid) grouped together creating two bracers for Anik, their job done. But a few(trillion) would still be inside his creation acting as his nano-hands for the more delicate parts.

Anik took the rod and began crafting once more. While most of the thing was made from a composite of Boron Nitride, Silicon Carbide, and an Aluminum Composite it was the insides which were a real beauty, with crystals arranged close to the same geometric patters which was fine for him to do himself. The nano-parts came when he had to create the nanotubes running through connecting the crystals, and he made to created two miniature battery replica of his original with some modification in the design for rapid-energy unleash  and rapid-recharge.

In the end was a weapon made by Anik and for Anik. Like the Nanobot's breeding, this weapon also took an active role with his powers, but on a sliding scale. Anik's power would allow the power creation of a non-volatile Power-Cell, or allow for amplification of a volatile power-cell. Any god's divine power would allow for the use of a volatile power cell. But anyone could use a pre-manufactured energy cell.

He pulled out the Ladybugs and allowed them to rest with their sisters.

Physical Shape: (the first one)
http://attachments.conceptart....c=1&d=1241733037

Inner-structure:
Technology used in this once again of techo-divine manufacturing. The semi-divine enchanted crystal structure inside the gun combined with nanotubes are used to direct the raw energy from both the (currently depleted) Thorium Battery (not inside the pack, but instead a component in the gun itself) and the Power-Cell. The crystals were arranged a configuration that allowed him to change the output type into 5 different types.

The Power Cell:
Power cells came in 3 varieties Non-volatile, Volatile, and Pre-made Energy Cell. A Non-volatile is literally a bunch of stable matter. Rock, stone, etc. A Volatile cell is one with radioactive material, something that already would decay. A pre-made energy cell is something Anik has yet to make, but would allow for anyone to use the weapon because it would supply the power without any need of matter destruction.

How it works:
Non-Volatile- Anik holds the weapon, the crystals on the other side of the rubber grips are able to accept divine energy (cannot pull out energy) from a god. In Anik's case the power is not only fuel but he can "flavor" his destroy power into the energy alloying the crystals to transfer that power to the Non-Volatile matter in the Power Cell and use it to create raw energy. This method allows for slow destruction of matter which turns into the energy for the weapon.
Volatile- While the structure itself already accepts radioactive energy from the power cell, it still needs divine backing to "power" the decay instigator and amplifies energy acceptor which thus generators power from a controlled (yet fast) nuclear decay.
Premade Energy- The thing just soaks up the power provided.

One the energy from the power cell is made it is transferred to the two Thorium Batteries, who store up the energy for the weapons blast. An arrangement of crystals monitor all energy direction and potential. Each battery at full charge has enough power for either 30 micro-bursts, 3 full-blasts, or a 30 seconds drain. It also takes about 30 seconds for a full charge on each (less if Anik is using a volatile Power cell).
Now because the cell is constantly re-charging, this means that the following is available without eventually over-drawing on the battery: (over estimated for safety)
100 micro-burst per minute (machine gun)
1 full-blast every 7 seconds (cannon)
The continuous drain has a cut off at 30 seconds then needs a 5 second rest for heat-issues, power-wise it could continuously shoot at 100%. It is possible to over-pull for 200% power for 10 seconds, with a 20 second rest for cooling.

There are 6 crystal arrangements from the actual shooting part.
1: Safety- The thing has a safety to stop the trigger, but this safety actually returns all energy into the power cell.
2: Micro-burst- Fires a small compressed plasma shot that while only about the size of a small marble, when impact erupts in a firey plasma blaze about the half the size of a bowling ball. This is the "machine-gun" mode.
3: Full Blast- Fires a massive base-ball sized compressed plasma shot which when it hits the target erupts in a fury of hell-fire that impacts like a brick of c4 that size, but much hotter.
4: Laser- The lead crystal switch and instead a single blast, it focuses a 1 cm inch diameter plasma laser. Good for cutting, as the effective distance is only 20 feet.
5: Flamethrower- Another continuous shot drain, this shoots out a stream of plasma which crosses itself about 4 feet away and then erupts forward in the atmosphere unleashing a hellish column of fire. Effective distence is 20 feet. Good for incinerating anything close.
6: Radioactive Flash- This weapon is mean. Instead of focusing the energy to create plasma it shoots a nutron flash forward in a 60 degree cone forward. Effective at 10 feet or less, it just looks like a camera flash... and then anything in the cone generally drops dead. The area it his is radiated for a bit before it dusts.

Radiation and other Contorl issues- The crystals don't just direct raw energy. They imbue the power with divine energy. This allows for the control outside of the gun, and removes radiation by compelling the energy expelled to gather to form dust.

Soon the weapon, crafted out of seemingly innocent stone by the black, nanotechnological goop that was tied to Anik's theoelectromagnetic field, was complete, hot within his hands. Anik felt the exhaustion come over him again. It wasn't simply creation at this point in time, but the tapping of his purest creative energies - energies that spawn from his own powers, his own theoelectromagnetic field, manipulating vital forces held within his very soul.

"That was.. impressive, Anik," said the monk, silent up until this point. "What is it? Firearm?"

Re: (Anik) The Lesser Bounty

Anik thought that might happen, this was the most divine power he had used in an object, though it gave him a weapon to match those of others currently. He rested a bit before he was done to regain his energy enough to use the gun. "Alright. Lets test it." He switched it first to laser mode and gave it a couple of 5 second bursts on some of the goo that was before him, burning it up. He switched it to the next continuous draw mode, the flame thrower. "Get back." He warned her, he was careful not to get any black-blast from the tunnel and began burning the rest of the goop at the entrance. If everything was well he switched it to the machine-gun mode. He began shooting down the tunnel, making sure to angle them to hit the walls, floor, and ceiling about 50 to 100 feet away.

"Alright now really get back.", he pointed farther away behind some cover off to the side of the rocks.

He switched it to blast mode and aimed it straight down the middle of the tunnel, it wouldn't reach the end which was good, and the large ball might actual reveal what is down there before the explosion of fire... which thanks to tunnel physics it would send all flames rushing back toward the entrance (if there wasn't an opening somewhere else), then only half the fire would rush back, of course then that was assuming that the other side didn't have a low-pressure area like a chimney... then only small bit fly down the tunnel towards them before stopping and dissipating. Lucky once out of the tunnel the heat would be pretty spent and wouldn't go far.

He took the shot and then turned and ran for cover with the architect monk.

(basically wanting to know if this is the only place of entry in the tunnel and burn the goo... who says two birds can't be killed with on plasma-blast?)

Several bursts of superheated blue struck the plasma, which burst into black-blue flames once hit, finally settling down a few seconds after to the softer red-orange fire - and then nothing. The black goop was completely destroyed. Finally, as the last charge was throne into the tunnel - with the monk, looking vaguely horrified, and Anik dashing for safety - Anik saw the blue-white heat burst into orange flame, rushing through the tunnel, obliterating everything within and then bursting out of the portal, dissipating as quickly as it formed. There were no other access-points to the tunnel. All of the black plasma had been destroyed.

The tunnel was warm, the air thin and thick with the choking smell of burnt goop. Yhe tunnel was otherwise clean, the stench the only remains of the doomed plasma that had tried to steal Anik's secrets. The tunnel went further down until they were twenty feet beneath ground, and then it continued on an even level for another two hundred feet - two hundred feet of iron, mythril, admantium, silver protection, devoured by the hideous thing.

"This is.. an interesting laboratory," said the monk. "I assume the black oil-thing wasn't yours?"

A dead end: a wall that seemed as if normal, black rock to those untrained to sense the signs, but Anik felt the blinding, blistering glory of the solasium, diluted as it was with mythril, burn at his eyes and cheeks. It was an invisible heat, a heat on a different plane of existence. Solasium.. ore harvested from the sun.. weak by itself, but when mixed with mythril.. mythrolasium was a metal not even his rival could overcome.

"A door," said the monk, grinning with glee. "I like how you operate, Anik."

Anik could place his hand on it - it was hot, but not unbearably so. He learnt that he had to tame one of the Living Suns of Absorthus - Absorthus? Where was that..? - in order to find the rare metal, and had spent many days trying to figure out the optimal approach to using. It was hot enough to burn off magical affects and wards, most powers, and to short-circuit most electronics. Bonded with mythril, it was also incredibly difficult to destroy.

Re: (Anik) The Lesser Bounty

Anik helped her get comfortable. About halfway through he stopped. It was like a gate opened in his mind, heart, and soul. The rush power flooding through him, a small flare of his aura causes the area to glow for a second. "Theomagnetic field just leaped. Seems my old power is almost returned... or at least the levels of power I remember holding."

Anik went over to some of the rocks he was by. He only used his major power when he caused a humanoid statue to pull forth from it. He didn't need to make any additions or anything, just the same mass. He touched it. The rock began to take form, then cloths began to appear on it, finally pink skin. When the rock's form had totally changed life sprang into the eyes of a complete duplicate of Anik. The whole process only taking minutes.

"Well this is interesting..."
"Well this is interesting..."

Both Anik's said at the same time, then both frowned. After a moment of focusing (thinking with one another) the original turned to the Architect-monk. "Inner-realm paradox, he is me..." "and I am him..." The other one ended, but the 'original' Anik picked up the conversation. "Sort of like how we do it through realm... I'll stay with you. This one of me is going back to the village." He said before the clone took off in his own direction heading back towards that village.

When the two of them were alone he concentrated and allowed the massive amount of books in his bag to dissipate, making room for anything else he might need. "Alright, well you get your rest, I'm going to work on something."

Once she was situated for bed Anik went over to the rock-pile that had been so useful before. His hand slid into the there rock as if it were water, the rock moving away for him. The nanobots which had formed his bracer suddenly slid down his arm and into the rock. He kept one hand on the rock as they began to eat away, multiplying, he would need about a cubic foot of them to get the project done. After he spent a couple minutes multiplying his helpers he moved over until he found a boulder or if he couldn't made one from the mountain-side.

((Will pause here until reply, that's enough for one post for this one.))

As Anik left his other self and the monk behind as he made his way towards the village. It wasn't long (until out of eye and earshot) until he would stop and pull up some earth from the ground below. Once again with a touch the earth seemed to melt away and form another Anik. This one though didn't stay, but went directly into a portal into the Valley.

Anik continued towards the village.

1: Anik would rest while he got the Nanobots to do the work he had created so many for.
He got several together in the center to act as a nervous system, a small ball of them about the size of a marble which would act as a hub and directional center. Anik would overlay instructions as a meta-program which would be carried out as if the clusters in the chunk were part of a single processor. (aka, they organize the others)
The rest would continue to eat and transform the rock into Thorium 232, which having a half life of 14 billion years is basically stable. The creation of very radioactive material would take a specialized Nanite, but for now getting the raw materials for the 300 batteries would be productive.

2: Anik took a relaxing stroll through the mountain passes heading back the way he came.

Re: (Anik) The Lesser Bounty

1. Anik felt the magical energies inherent in the room lash out at him. Some were thunderous, others silent; some manifested through sudden perfumes or strange feelings. They all passed, caught within the Dhelvanian stone. Anik himself felt a little sick at the presence of the thing - simply holding it made him feel.. estranged.

Even as he walked through the workshop, filled with darkness, he saw the ruined automatic guns and the remains of his servitor-guardians. And yet.. the one guardian he had created and sensed to be alive he could not find..

2. (Sorry man, my mind imploded a little and I can't find the post. What were the contents of the delivery, again?)

Anik finds the delivery secure within one of the Bounty warehouses and guarded by a few of the warriors among the people. They bow at the sight of him and allow him entrance.

Re: (Anik) The Lesser Bounty

1. While the stone made him feel somewhat sickly, he was glad he had it to protect him. He tested the current flows of magic to see if the tidal wave had passed yet. Anik continued down, surly there was some way out of this guarded hall. He would return if needed.

2. ((Shitloads of different metals... a thousand of kilograms of like 7 different metals.)) Anik got several rods and bars of the metals, moving back and fourth from his work area. This would be for the project but a second step. He would need to preform another task before he was finished. He headed away from the town, though not completely out of bounty. He made sure no one was around, as his crafting was about to get... complicated.

Once he made sure no one was there, he contrasted on himself. He held his hands out in front of him. Energy flowed out of him. This was his divine electromagnetic field pushing itself out into something solid. Unlike his previous creation this was not a object which used it... but something that grew with it. He had been quite rested divinely... but he didn't want to push it. He would only go for 50% power this time.

Anik's eye's went white. The air around him froze. His power... unleashed. Nothing moved. No atoms... no electrons. Not without his command. The bubble around him receded smaller and smaller until it was compressed within his outstretched hands. A light like a blinding white sun pierced through the forest trees and leaves. This was Anik's raw power becomeing it's own vessel. It solidified. A crystal appeared. It was a dark green emerald only 1/4 inch wide and 1/2 inch long, and 1/8 inch long. Anik put the crystal to him and it went inside him. Deep into the bone of his center of his ribcage. It was the only truly safe place... and since it was apart of him it only seemed right to become one with it.

1. Besides the dissipated or dormant energies within the room itself, Anik could not sense the mystical energies at large - it was unknown to him whether or not the magical tsunami had occurred.

He found two dark black plates at the end of the chamber. He remembered, vaguely, of having to activate two golden plates with his powers in order to open to workshop further. But the plates were black, and he felt unnerved by this.. something was wrong.

2. There was a little pain as Anik exerted himself fully, but it soon passed. He had created the crystal and had fused it to himself successfully. What was the next step.. ?

Re: (Anik) The Lesser Bounty

1. Anik was certainly glad he had had the mind not to touch it immediately. He went back across the hall to the door made of that special material. He touched it, and with a touch pulled off a thin plate of the stuff.

Going back with the mythrolasium. He focused on the air around all three plates plates and the plates themselves, and through their means of attachment. The tar was also focused on, it would not escape his power. Now that he had his workspace, he began to craft in a different sort of way. He ran slices through the tar touching it without touching it, his mental hand working for him. He pushed air in between the metal and the tar (if there was any metal left) and then gathered the devouring tar into a bubble in the air, his hands only touching the air of his workspace as things moved to form what he needed. The tar condensed and the mythrolasium plate expanded until it was super thin. He pulled it forward and then curled it around the black abrasive material. He moved the thin metal back over the orb and forth, forming a protective wrapping around the first layer. Soon it was encased in the hot metal, he released the tar, but not the ball to make sure it was trapped by the mythrolasium and it wouldn't get eaten.

It was a simple and easy process as long as no surprises happened. Once he had contained the Tar in the mythrolasium, he used his power to examined the golden metal plates (if they weren't totally eaten through). He also examined the tar to see if it was the same stuff that tried to eat it's way through earlier.

2. Anik woke up (hey that's one way to catch up with the "faster" self in realm). He went back to the village to see about talking to the priest, and leaders about the metal had bought them.

2. Anik soon found a priest of relatively high standing and good demeanour.

"Ah, my Lord," he smiled. "How might I help you in your endeavours?"

2. "I'm to make sure everyone is using the metal resources well enough, just remember though that some items will need to be made to sell to support more metal shipments if they want to keep insourcing it." Anik knew his people might be able to produce some products maybe worth 5-10 times the raw material, especially with their ability to produce artworks that are slightly enchanted by their purpose, their creators feelings, and people reaction to them.

1. Anik tried to think about this, since they would be sensing and covering the energy found into a signal, all he had to to was think of a rational way to covert the signal. He touched the two handled which the plates were once on and let his energy flow through, trying to pick up residual signal. He was sure that if he could get the type of signal and a couple of scraps that didn't fade away (like how electricity signals will leave impressions via magnetic pull on metal around it), he could repeat the exact signal that meant Anik's Theomagnetic field had been touching the plates.

2. Anik was defiantly intrigued. "Would you be allowed to tell me the first step?"

((I thought you said the plates were destroyed and all that is left was the pillar they were on.))

1. Anik thought about it for a moment. He would have to guess. If it were him, he wouldn't use an electronic signature, way to easy to compromise. In fact since it might be a divine run feature, he wondered of having his raw field run through it would work, of course without he plate helping it would be all his push and no pull. He attempted this to try and see what the results were.

2. So it the leader conclave is in the way of the tree's attempt to save itself. Anik wanted to chuckle of course one of the first Logos created would block all other from appearing... in an attempt to horde power. It was very much an evolution of a god, and just as selfish.

Anik wondered for a moment: "Could you tell me who, by name, hold the Logos of Order? And also I was wondering if the god Odin has anything to do with Logos."

1: Anik took a breath. He cast aside all his paradox item. Completely naked he stepped into the energy. As he stepped in he allowed his theometaphysical field to surround him and mix with the energies. Anik would use the full extent of his Forsaken power to reach out to the energies and use them. He wrapped the energy around his theometaphysical field to get a full power "hold" on the energies around him. He used his power to not just keep himself safe from the energies, but to explore their innate properties, to see what he could make with them.

Fleeting glimpses of other Trees, at once glorious and terrible, beneath him.. swirling suns, the dust of aeons, things that defy any classification..

Re: (Anik) The Lesser Bounty

Faster and faster, through energy and hidden mass and the dragons of deep space, past World-Trees of bronze and steel and spiders spinning their web across worlds, fleeing from everything he knew now and before until -

A sudden stop. Silence.

Anik could barely see the sight before him. Larger than he could possibly comprehend - greater than any World-Tree, or any collection of World-Trees - it was a hurricane of entropy, of slowly shifting mass, of colours and light. Long, powerful droning crashed across Anik, like a tsunami of sound, and he realised that it was the snore-bellows of a sleeping dragon beyond his wildest conceptions. Occasional whispers smashed across him, cursing him with knowledge in a language he couldn't comprehend..

The stars were gone.

Anik felt tears of blood well deep within him, falling forever below. He knew space and time were illusions. He knew that the cat was neither dead nor alive. He knew -

The droning muted. The horrible colours were dulled to a soft groan.

In its place, the most beautiful music Anik had ever heard..

"Welcome," said the writhing black mass bearing a single silver flute, "To the Courts of Chaos. Welcome to the center of the universe. Welcome.. to Azathoth the Dreamer, as you know him."

A single word swelled within Anik, and was brought to his lips, though he could not say it: Nyarlathotep.

Anik's mind opened and shut at the same time, filtering as much as he could. He knew Madness was not something he wished but could easily slip into while in the presence of it's roots. "What does the Crawling Chaos Want with me?" Is the first question he wished to ask. Whether he asked it or not, he knew, was not up to him.

Re: (Anik) The Lesser Bounty

Anik thought or spoke... was there a difference? "I am here either by accident, by fate, or by my own force of will. I do not know. I had stepped through the unknown energies, and death was quite a possibility, but I know I am dead yet not perhaps yet. At least my former form was... but my essence, it still resides here to speak to you. I do not know if my own art-altering energies (my forsaken power) are what kept my being together as I rose." The form around him was beautiful yet terrifying at the same time, he was truly in a place of higher power, or was it all an illusion. He looked (yet didn't directly, not that he could if he tried) at the outer god and asked. "Is this even real? Or a trick waiting to ensnare enemies entering my workshop... I can't even trust my former incarnation's intentions."

Then remembering something else. "I was in possession of a Dhelvanian stone... perhaps that adds answers to the mystery." Whether he knew what his other self was doing... or perhaps because great twin-minds think alike... tries to feel himself, and his own essence. Trying to see if he could still sense his other self or the link of himself back to the "real world" he was accustom to... even if that connection would be through his second resurrection, though he would prefer to see that his previous self was still alive. He didn't quite tug at it yet though, or lean in on the direction back home if he could find it. He wanted to see what the higher being had to say first.

Besides, this existence as intoxicating and sickening as it was... was intoxicating in an all sort of good way. He knew of his madness before long ago, the diseases which carried him in another life... another's memory... but he didn't quite want to go all the way in there. Balance is after all what he strives for.

If there was a difference between thought and speech, Anik could not know it. Not in this place, where there was no science, no art, no expression and no feeling save those allocated to him by the writhing madness in the cyclone center of the cosmos.

There was, to this Anik's knowledge, no other paradox, no other body, no other Anik. He was utterly, entirely, alone. It was quiet in the faded, monochrome center of the universe, but..

"I remember you," said the Piper of the Nuclear Eye. "How could I forget? You are the musical, mathematical, magical, mysterious, malevolent genius. Do you not remember? Remember what you wrought? Remember the destruction you brought? Do you not remember.. why I owe you audience, why you have earned a boon of the Forever Courts of Chaos?"

Nyarlathotep smiled.

Anik felt consciousness slip from him. He fell -

fell
fell
fell
fell
fell
fell

- and awoke, cold, freezing in the halls of his workshop. There was no light, no heat. He was naked and could feel some form of hypothermia setting in.

A second later he received knowledge of his encounter - memory - and he knew that it was real. A few minutes were sent heaving, vomiting black goop riddled with blood and vomit.
