Anik poked the fire with a stick absently thinking, then when finally done looks back up. "So then, mind telling me abit about your past?"

She thought a bit. "Well, I've only been alive for a few hours. I woke up, then a machine came and tried to eat me and my realm, then Balverstus killed the machine and saved my life, and I was in the valley meeting ruse right about then.. then my realm got attacked by Chalybis and he put this corruption thing in my realm, so we had to plant bombs to blow off that part of my realm into the endless fall below, and I was talking with the nice girl in the valley while that was happening.. we (Balv, my people, and me) went to Raelis's realm for safety, but Osiris-Ra turned up and he killed Balv and then he killed my people.. and then fierce went and killed all of Pha-Hu's people and took his sword, and then I woke everything was a gory mess and Pha-Hu said it was my fault and that I was evil and I felt so horrible so I agreed to be executed, and he said his sword could take Fierce out of me.. but it couldn't, and when I reincarnated I was a girl- oh and Sophie saw me change into Fierce and she got scared so I lost my date.. Then I had to deal with Ruse's investigation and the funeral of my best friend, and then when I did what the Dhaal told me to do I was arrested and fined six thousand conclave stones, and now I'm here with you while I'm also down in the secret place below the Hall of the Sun with Wyrn who says he's going to kill me because I wouldn't break my promise not to turn in my new friend Dxacku. Which Fierce did. That's my life so far."

"Well... that was bound to take place in a great deal more than a couple hours. Remember your own perception of time doesn't have any berring on the timeflow at all. By all that I'd guess you've been around for a couple months atleast, since I happen to know the Funeral took a really long time. Also who is Firce?"

As Anik and Max wandered down the mountain, occasionally scrambling but for the most part okay, they came cross the bubbling river. As they reached the lower side of the mountains, Max felt a stinging pain in his hands. She was walking close to the stream. She saw her hand - there was something black and wriggling attached to it. A leech of some sort.

She used fire magic burn it off, like you are supposed to do with leeches.

Anik stopped for a moment and looked back when Max stopped. Seeing the leech he wonders. "We weren't in water. I;ll try putting some protection around us." Once the leech is off he used a spell to turn his and her skin into a soft flexable metal. "Won't look as tasty now."

The leech does not burn off. Not in the manner of the normal leech. When Max began to conjure fire, it screamed wildly, burying itself incredibly quickly within Max's own flesh.

The sun was rising, and Anik spotted a massive balloon in the horizon, marked with the symbols of Havanar.

"Ho! High Lord Anik?" yelled the captain of the flying vessel. "Order for High Lord Anik?"

She draw a butcher knife from her hammerspace and attempts to slice the leech in half; she would then pull off the half attached to her, sealing the would with flame so it would heal later.

The leech was well within her at that point. She could stop it from going further if she was willing to hack off her arm.

She sighed, and did so in one clean cut. She then cauterized the stump. She seemed to lose a lot of limbs.

"Anik, could you please restore my limb?"

Anik touches the stump and instantly fuses it together (something akin to cauterization but less painful as he simply disconnected any nerves). "In a bit." He quickly puts protections around themselves making their skin seem like it was giving off the heat of a flame (as that is what leech feared). It is an illusion anything nearby and able to would sense.

He then looked towards the man in the flying ship. "Aye. Keep heading south until you reach my village in the main valley, It's pretty sizable. Unload the materials there." He gets a piece of paper and it suddenly has a written note.

He rolls up the note and ties a string around it. Then uses air magic to lift the note up to them man.

"Amazing what a few cantrips can accomplish."

"Of course, High Lord," shouted the balloon, and it continued on its way.

Max's limb was reattached with some pain. It really, really hurt.

She rubbed her muscles and gritted her teeth, taking the pain as best she could and trying to not cry. Stupid leeches!

Max's wound was sealed by the medicinal powers that lay within the purview of Anik. It hurt even more than the limb being chopped off.

Once he had dealt with the trader and made sure they were both protected from the leeches. He was about to heal her when he stopped. "You know. Why waste the magic when your about to die?" He was obviously disappointed about something, but he went ahead and healed the arm. He pulled the divine energy and life energy from the old one but still keeping it physically separate (that way the leech wouldn't be inside her body) and should make it a lot easier to heal since the divine and life energy would actually help the process.

This should leave the old arm a dry husk, decaying rapidly.

"Thank you. Faith is a powerful thing, Anik. It can make you do things you thought were impossible. Having both arms would be rather helpful, though." She said cheerfully, while grimacing from the pain.

Max felt tiredness come onto her, as her body reeled into the shock of the wound and the heal, but she would recover fully. The balloon drifted to central Bounty..

Anik continued with Max making sure to update percautions as they go.
