I just want to point out that this game opened in what? The earliest OOC Post is Mon 27 Jul 2009... and strong until  Mon 6 Dec 2010. The Game lasted a year and aquired over 15000 POSTS! 15000 NAT! Some small... some Anik Crafting something sized, but that is atleast 15000 single thoughts we have had both in or around this game. Simply put. That little over a year of 2009 to 2010 was one the best years of my life (Lived with my dad, went to school with good grades, worked little got paid a lot for that little, could drink in korea), a big part of that happiness in the recreational department I attribute to this game (and the medication I was on... that might have helped to). But come to think of it, I didn't get laid the whole time I played this game either... so... maybe not as happy as it could have been.

Ha! That was great! I put a fate within a fate which I thought was pretty genius at the time... and I guess I still do! I wasn't even there for that specifically. I only came to kill one of your people to gain a sympathetic link to you so I could do magic shenanigans. It was a play for the long term and I left as soon as I had it.

I suppose there is no harm in revealing the endgame I had planned for those who were interested:

So my two forsaken powers were basically mythcrafting and geotonomancy but were much easier to use. So I created a world where time passed more slowly and was essentially creating an infinite army of any creature I could fathom at a super fast rate. I also had other powers that allowed me an incredible amount of stamina in sand terrain, which of course the world I created had plenty of sand. From memory I had creatures that I could put my consciousness in to lead the battle from a far (and even use my powers) to giant scorpions that shot acid. I had a wishlist at some point but it's sadly lost. Though I do recall the first step was using these assassination beings to take out the leadership of the conclave before the attack.

The game stopped soon after I began this. So if the game continued for another month we'd probably have a completely different game.

Wow I went back and looked at my own CS... all my crafting powers compounded upon one another to the point where if I touched anything I could change the very essence of what it was, pretty much any and all aspects of it. I could also see what I had set up to clone myself. AHHH now I remember my plan. In the end I was going to infect everything. My alteration and cloning abilities were my plan to ultimately sacrifice myself to to broken down eventually I was going to infiltrate everything, in a uber-godly virus/grey-goo style, spreading into everything use Yggdrasil as it died and create Infinity so that life could go on. I honestly didn't care who won the fights, who gained control and power, as long as I grew in knowledge and power. Giving up my character to become a singular force without free will or sentience, I would have a single driven purpose. I could either Plan A: Save the Tree, use this fusing of everything to fix whatever was wrong with it. Plan B: Save what I could and the dying corpse of this tree into Infinity (essentially a Noah's Arch of everything that was Yggdrasil), and Anik was fairly balanced minded. Both Mad and Orderly, Evil and Good, (and all PC's) would have been beamed aboard just as the tree crumbled to ashes and launched out towards the nearest world tree. They could continue their petty squabbles as I "ascended" to a GM level of not giving a fuck about it as long as they didn't break the world.

Since we're going end-games here, here is mine. :)

Ruse's ultimate goal was to get so powerful - both politically but also as a character, to allow him to eventually be able to achieve two things: he was going go crush and/or kill any of the councilors who stood in his way before he rose up and took out the Emperor of the golden hand himself, and become the new Mist Emperor of Yggdrasil. Now, mind you, some of you may have seen references to a "mist emperor" in other thro games that came after Dust and this is why. :P

But Ruse isn't a tyrant and he didn't want power just for the sake of power. Sure he had mistellan arrogance, and he was manipulative and had his finger so more pies than I can count. But he was a noble liar. A sort of lawful-neutral trickster if ever one was possible. He also was VERY much, despite what some may have thought, NOT a Mad god and was super aligned with the Tree. The tree was his primary affiliation I'd say.

He had another plan. This (along with probably his "become emperor" plan) wouldn't happen until he ascended he boy was he on his way to doing so at the rate he was going. But he would have become a path of mercy (i.e. tree aligned ascension) ascended being, which would give him free access to the courtyard. He then was going to set up a system involving both the courtyard and roots that was ultimately going to be a divine recycling system. He would then start a pogrom of fighting and capturing (or killing as corpses are fine) mad gods and entities as well as nihili and abyssal entities, and via the system "feed" them to the Tree itself. This would energize the tree and help it regain its lost strength while removing its rotting nasty bits. Two birds with one stone! And if a few true gods who were overall threats to the tree and had to be taken down got thrown into the recycling system now and then (*cough cough Sura, chalybis, Osiris-Ra, etc Cough cough***) then so be it.

But Ruse was well on his way to both becoming the sun-king of the Shage race (think basically a top religious figure of reverence or something that even the most aloof shage respect) as well as having the patronage of the Urge itself. This is pre-ascension and happening NOW. And he's almost one of the strongest zealous gods at the moment (yggdrasil realm-aspected gods) so has had more of the tree's passive favor than normal gods too, and his Realm recently became legendary ranked and he used the after effects of Sura's attack to actually help with a ritual to re-energize his realm's spirit and leyline energies. :)

Heh, not sure I had an end game plan, but I feel like Hirsu would have gained enough power to make himself a worthy sacrifice, then ended himself for the tree in order to create a shoot of the dying plant, giving a chance for new life to grow without losing everything that was.

My end-game was basically a kill list. Destroy most of the Conclave, destroy Osiris-Ra's EVERYTHING, then settle down with Ruse and have kids.

I was going to achieve this by fusing with the Fierce God so I'd be strong enough to Ascend so I'd be strong enough to destroy shit.

I had a myth gem that would let me craft a Void Dragon that could carry me to Osiris-Ra's Sphere of Force and Fire, at which point I'd be slaughtering everything there and flooding his chamber with water to destroy him forever.

Then I wanted to kill Wyrn SO HARD.

I also wanted to kill Chalybis but well that got taken care of.

I'm getting promoted. There is a lady who is presently far away who I like thinking about and who sends smiley faces to me in our texts, and I'm considering getting a few medical issues addressed now that I have good health insurance through my work.

Oh, and my Theogenesis game has started and is fun to GM and I'm pretty darn proud of it.

I'm tired as always :)

Hirsu, what happened with the game?

Meh, nothing too bad this time. Once baby arrives I won't have time to dedicate 2-3 hours every other day to updates, so I decided to pass it on to a replacement GM. Replacement GM ended up getting injured (badly broken foot) just as things were starting up again and disappeared as a result, causing players to lose interest. After a couple months of only 2 of 8 players logging in hoping for updates, I decided to just close it down. No hard feelings, just lots of bad luck. I wished everyone well, and maybe I'll start it up again in the future if I find time.

Bugger. Congrats on the baby though!

Howdy folks! That's right foun is still around, although I prefer to go by storyteller nowadays.
