Well ruse to be honest I don't share your opinion on that, but that's okay. We'll just leave the subject be, anyway moving right along.

My short term plans? well... uh... real life wise I suppose I'm just trying to handle stuff day to day? I don't necessarily know what would qualify as a short-term plan other than right now I am trying to get into a position where I can move to portland oregon because they have resources there that I could really make use of. Uh... other than that I'm working towards becoming a writer? Actually meeting some marginal success on that front. Started getting paid for writing short to medium sized stories... although uh... perhaps not necessarily in the venue I'm hoping to write in? >_<

My long term plans? Well I want to get to canada, hopefully from there to europe. (I hope to live in various parts of europe, africa, asia, through out my life. I'm going to leave the american continents and probably never return... although I think I'll enjoy my time in canada. My family is descended from gypsies though so none of us sit very comfortably still very long.) With school well... I mean I have a lot of ambition there, I'm trying to work towards a degree right now. Probably won't be satisfied until I have several though... just because I have plans... that require several degrees ... ...

Anyway moving right along again I'm pretty busy all the time... I want to be a writer, oh and then there is the forum rp I'm running that I hope to turn into a huge thing. The whole idea with the rp is that we're starting at the very beginning of the Existential Sphere and building up from there, the RP itself will probably eventually span several forums that are all interconnected in one 'canon' sort of like what theogenesis was becoming with it's own style though. There will be world trees eventually like yggdrasil, primordial and all that. Although! Just saying right now it's set up so that the previous existence is already over the one we may or may not have been involved with a long time ago. This is a new Existential Sphere that is very similar to the previous one because the storyteller who on some level is at least part foun carried over from the previous existence so he's helping keep the design similar. It won't be exactly the same though and it most certainly isn't the same as theogenesis canon nor does it claim to be theogenesis canon. It is it's own existential sphere with it's own properties, history, and future... so there is that.

Anyway I'm putting a lot of energy into that project and tend to stick with it and keep it running for a very long time. It's actually tons of fun, we've been around for about a month already and we got some players and it's really interesting already. I can't wait until we get to the point where we have world trees though, that's going to be lots of fun...

So uh... yeah writing for money (sometimes) now, uh... got a blog that's pretty popular over 200 followers and that's popular by my standards... running the forum and the plan for the community and canon of a 'Existential Sphere' and well... stuff? Just lots and lots of stuff? Oh and I have a nephew that I'm mostly responsible for now... which makes things ... complicated? Anyway uh... yeah... life?

Foun: It's absolutely and most definitely okay that we have somewhat differing opinions on the matter of the country. I may refute people and even share differing things with them, but when have I ever - in all the time I've been a part of our twisted little Theogenesis sub-culture for literally years now - have I ever NOT been open and tolerant of your guys' differences and quirks?

My goal is to ultimately one day not have to work. BUT with the caveat that my not-working should not be a draw on your tax dollars or the government's money. Basically, I want to be able to fund my own non-work. Lol.

Put another way, my goal right now is to retire early (my goal is by the time I am 40 years old to be able to retire and live off of residual income). I then want to become an author and write Fantasty novels. I have two major ideas I will one day put into writing, and I intend to outcompete J.K. Rowling and such. The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. and I'm on like mile 2 right now still. LOL.

I'm mainly a work-a-holic and working 56 ish hours/week at 2 jobs. I am currently trying to buy a second property to rent out to begin my plan of building residual income for myself. I believe the housing market will always ultimately be a sustainable investment, and after 2-3 duplexes or equivalent with mortgages fully paid off, I could retire and live off my rental income.

The only thing I have to figure out is health insurance, because that shit is super expensive private pay. but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

Unfortunately it's ... it's smut.... although oh my lordy! People will pay soooo much for specifically tailored smut... like sooooo much. Especially if you're a half-way decent writer... which I hope I am..... yeah, not really something I'm proud of. Still it helps pay the bills!

I may try my hand at some smut on the side some day. I want to be more sexually active first though (need more writing material and I'm in a dry spell lol).

At least I know who to turn to for advice!

My biggest piece of advice? Be a secretly and repressed perverted and twisted bastard and know your kinks and fetishes... because there are sooooooo many of them.

As someone who has also tried to sell smut for a living, though to limited success, I agree :P

Also another strong piece of advise especially if you find yourself meeting exponential success... as I am. (sorry nat!) Know the audience you're working with... and MOST IMPORTANTLY!!!!


Know the audience you can tolerate... because believe me when writing smut for money people will ask you to write some really twisted stuff... and to some extent if you are like me you can handle most of it. (Like kinks, I can basically roll with almost any of them, I have limits; but they are certainly few and far between.) Still there will always be those hot big red buttons that just make a story impossible for you to write and you'll notice as time moves on that whatever these red button stories are usually a specific type of audience is always the one that will suggest them. If you can figure out what and who those clients are before you have to deal with them... it will save you so much trouble!!!


Seriously I'm very proud of the fact that I can write almost anything... but there's a guy who basically wants me to write a story with him emotionally abusing and tormenting a forlorn little gay boy... I can't handle this theme... it's too personal and hits too close to home. Unfortunately I should have seen this coming though because he's a straight guy requesting female characters and a gay boy character ... WHICH NEVER ENDS WELL ... for me anyway. So from experience I should have just nixed him on the spot... but I didn't ... and now I'm stuck writing something I literally loathe... and may not even be able to finish... worse this shows through my writing and means I'm putting out a broken product which reflects poorly on me as a writer. Better to just hard NO sometimes than to attempt something you know will make you uncomfortable and thus reflect those feeling in your work.

I would kindly and civilly refuse that man's request. Seriously. And I'm sorry he even requested it from you.

To some extent I'm right with you, but one of the annoying aspects of writing for money online is that they can get you to accept the job before springing all the nasty little details on you and to some extent if your business relies on reputation and you really need the money... (like I do) than you're sort of stuck between a rock and a hard place. That's why it's so important to learn to recognize the problem customers before accepting their request and basically confirming an exchange of money for your services... Because once that's done you gotta do the job to some extent. If you don't need to money than you can just return it and be like 'sorry can't do it', but unfortunately.... I really need that money .... So I gotta deal... but you may not have that same obstacle so ... 'shrug'.


Although... it also helps to ask as many questions as you can and get as much information as you can first hand... although I actually did that to some extent with this guy... he wasn't quite entirely forthright and I'll admit I didn't think 'Are you going to want emotional abuse smut?' was a question I'd need to ask... like ever...

Honestly...I'd just distance myself from the whole thing as you do it, and treat it like any other job. You wake up, go to work, do a boring unappealing job, gat paid, and go home.

You also may be able to use this as an opportunity. Perhaps in this story, you can introduce sadistic elements of torment and smut and blah blah blah, and poor little gay guy blah blah blah. But THEN as the story goes on, things begin to change and the gay guy begins to get the upper hand on his tormentor, so by the end of the story you no longer know who is the tormentor any longer.

That could be a fun twist.

Or maybe he seduced his tormentor.

Or better yet, gets abused at first but then finds something to blackmail or otherwise use as leverage against the tormentor, and roles flip and the tormentor becomes the tormented. Or even some third party related to the tormentor sides with the gay guy against the tormentor (like maybe his wife becomes a fag hag supporter of the gay guy and they act against the tormentor, etc).

Just some ideas. :P

Hey guys hows it going? Was going over my Pathfinder Character (I have a RL group and a dedicated GM, so thats been awesome!) and got a deep down feeling of missing RPoL and you guys! So I thought I'd pop in and say hello!

Theo: DC is still running fine, if more slowly because adults don't have a lot of time, haha.

Other than that: I've FINALLY lost my virginity, first to my girlfriend and then to my Alpha, and then to my Alpha again, and then a few hours later to my girlfriend again - like apparently I'm kinda good at this. Although that was weeks ago and I broke up with her because she stopped making time for me and also I found out that she was cutting and she started smoking and wanted to break a promise and I'm like, fuck it, I'm not here for this.

Still got my Alpha though. Just goes to show that witches should always come before bitches XD (she's a celtic pagan witch person)
