Why does no-one ever search for traps?  I was going along, 'oh, lets see, a tunnel...' and I thought, 'Hey!  Perfect place for a trap,' but it appears no-one else thought this.

If you remember, I said that it may have been unstable.  This tunnel was made, and common sense dictates that people would not use a structurally unstable tunnel, nor would a city be built over unstable rock.  Is this enough to get you thinking, or need I go on?

Well as far as the unstable thing, there is no telling back then, we now adays do tend to build on land that has not been set up right just so we can get our houses done, a good example is 4 houses are being build down the road from me and at the begining of the year that same spot had a pond and marsh for the last decade that I know about.  By standards they should wait 2 years while packing the dirt, rock and so forth in, but they waited 2 months.  Its a matter of need over necesity.  Perhaps the tunnel is in disaray because its one of the older ones, perhaps it was only made to look good for the inspectors, IF they had them back then, what are we to say...

I just had surgery on my eyes two days ago, so I've been out of it for a bit.  I'm kinda back, though I need to take it easy on the computer and give my eyes a rest.

Put simply, I won't be on a lot over the next few days.

Also, still trying to get other character in.

Into Observe, or something like that?  Which would also cover Listen.

And meld MS and Hide into Sneaking or something.  Makes wonderful sense to me, the divisions are just complications.

Have you seen the SW Saga skills?  There are what, 12 I think?

But but but - if you did all that, rogues wouldn't know what to do with all their remaining skill points... and even non-skill-monkey classes would be able to compete with rogues in stealth and observation...

So, who's the new character?  What kind of party-role?  (We need a healer, I think - I hope it's a cleric-type!)

DM: a suggestion would be to let us proceed into the dungeon and meet up with the warmage there. He could be a captive, or (more likely) our saviour in a tight spot.
