Yes sir.  Do you keep up with it?  I don't remember which one, but it was recent.  In Azure City, the big fight against the reformed Linear Guild?

You mean how the locations are grouped together like three diamonds, or kites, pointing towards Kuot's well?

Re: Starting again...
I would like a post from Raith and Fyrenn in game if they wish to continue.  If they wish to leave, please say so, so I can write you out in some way and bring in more.  Whereas I will respond for NPCs, I will not move you on until everyone has agreed to move on.

Re: Starting again...
Haven't heard from him in while. The game is moving at a terribly slow pace at times, I can't blame people from losing interest. Quinlan just won a fight in the arena that will bring him to level 4, is it possible for Gauge and Quinlan to keep going, you could write new players in as they join? We're in an urban area, so meeting new people is done at every step (almost). If fighting gets really bad you could always help us out temporarily using NPC's (city guards for example). So far it's all problem solving.

Re: Starting again...
I'm game I kinda like the sounds of that, you could even make it a more or less one shot deal and advertise it in the OOC and see who bites.  We could hire weeker fellows or stronger ones and exp can be divided acordinly.  I have lost a character I think to a slow game due to vacations, personal wrecks and killer OT, and then family issues.  I dont mind a slow game at all, but 1 post a month is a bit well over dramatic for slow I think, lol.

Also since we are not sure who is here I figured I would post something and not liking to roleplay others actions out did a vague thing dealing with "Q" or Quinlan just telling him I would meet him there and then not knowing when I show up put in a joke that he must be lost as well since he did say it was his first visit to the town.

On the map could we get a different colored dot for the last death as well?

Re: Starting again...
I try to keep things moving faster, but I can't post if the players don't give me something to post about.

Anyway, at least one new player on his way, Ill see about another one.

Sure, be right on it.  Soon.  Probably.  Eventually.  Just kidding.

With this new development, I'll be in my hidey-hole inventing something new to happen or be found.  Did I tell you I'm just winging it on this adventure?

Sorry, but you'll have to wait a bit for a response.  RL been busy.

In the meantime, get to know the new player.  When I return, I'll have a map update, some answers, and some forgotten xp waiting for you.

Darhelos, care to fill us in on your persona? At least a hint so that we'll be able to spot you among the crowds in Phlan! ;-)

Re: Starting again...
Sorry, I hit a bump where I need to work a few things out.  I'll see if I can get an update up this evening.

Sometimes I just forget to check the game, so it's not very fast.  When I'm not busy planning, the game moves somewhat smoothly.

Re: Starting again...
I'm tired, gonna make this quick.

Gauge doesn't find anything, it's been too long.  Quinlan does in fact find traces of blood and slight scuffle, like something being dragged, leading in the direction of the well.

Dardhelos, you can show up whenever you want.

We have a new player, when his sheet gets approved.  This rounds out our players, and we can move on more smoothly now.

Re: Starting again...
DM Kool:
Please welcome Garath Darkstar!

Greetings, all.

I am new to RoA, so please bear with me... and my naive questions, as I try to figure out how things work.

Overview of the character:

Garath is a pleasant-seeming young man, clearly an arcanist of some sort, and doesn't give the impression of being much use in a brawl.  His demeanour is calm, almost reserved, not so much aloof as introspective.  He is a recent arrival from Cormyr, having arrived in Phlan with a trade caravan whose traders and hired guards appeared to treat him with inexplicable deference.  His hair is pale blond, worn almost shoulder length; his eyes are the soft gray of overcast sky.  Garath's garb appears to be that of a scholar, with some alterations made for practicality and convenience of travelling.

So - what else should I cover?

Re: Starting again...
Hi there, so do we all meet up at the site or what?  Or do we bump into each other investigating a clue to the scuffle?

Garath came into town looking for an adventuring group to join.  If there is a tavern your group returns to each evening to review the day's events and generally have a drink - a tavern known to cater to adventurers - Garath could meet you there.

Alternatively, if the town watch knows where you are during the day, perhaps Garath walked into the local adventurers' guild/registry, signed up for this mission, and had a messenger boy take him to your current location.
