Re: New members

Agree.

But I think LW just likes giving out presents.  They are a pretty free wheeling bunch hehe.  No actual decision has been made about the increase of levels at this time that I am aware of.

Re: New members

Hi again Geth,

Brin is a Druid, and just took the Track feat.  I asked DM Scout if I could change it when I found out a ranger was joining the party.  However, I am already having second thoughts only because if your character is amenable, I think we could make an awesome tracking team (especially after Brin's animal companion gains the 'Assist Track' trick!...).  Please let me know what you think.  I have no problem either way, I just want everyone to have fun and feel their abilities are being used the way they wish.

I think it's a great idea... no telling when the party might split and need two trackers (I've seen that happen before).. and aiding each others is a great bonus. Plus I can perhaps use it in game as a roleplaying opportunity i.e teaching you what I know etc... plus using your companion can work in with me wanting to get my own which I do next level. Makes it more realistic when Geth goes looking for one ingame because yours has shown me the benefits of having one rather than one just showing up for me (I hope that was clear ;) )

If your up for it so am I!

:)

Sounds good!  I'll stick with what I have. So, DM Scout, if you are reading this...I'll keep the Track feat.

New Guy

Hello, folks.  I'll be playing Merka, a wizard, and his pet toad, Grup.

I live in Tennessee.  I hope my accent doesn't throw you off too much.  I'll try to type slowly so that you can understand me.

Welcome Merka.  But be careful, Brin's otter companion Krais has a fondness for sweet amphibian flesh! Nice and juicy - though I bet toads have a nasty aftertaste.

Hmm.  I knew I should've taken that dimensional pocket spell.

A question to all on spoils

Hi all,

Since this phase of the game seems about ready to end, I was wondeing how we as a group would prefer to divide treasure. In-game, Brin picked up some items that would be of use in the upcoming encounter, but by no means do I expect him to keep them just because he grabbed them first.  My preference is to divide non-monetary treasure by deciding as a group who could best use a particular item, while also trying to maintain a fair share to all.  Any suggestions/ comments?

Re: A question to all on spoils

I agree. unless one thing stands out as far superior to all the others it's the best way. The first thing is to find out what the things do though, and look around a bit more too obviously.

Agreed. And Rystro would prefer to find out what something is before he ends up never being able to take it off.

Possibilities

Hi all,

Hope you did not mind me ending this adventure. Since I picked it up in the middle, I was working on someone elses ideas.

We should be getting to a taverns like situation for a couple of weeks, as you decide which way or jobs you want.

I will be dropping a few hints about possibilities in the next few days.

Any requests?

Re: Possibilities

Scout,
The adventure ended just fine.  We've been woking on this since April after all! I liked the twist at the end as well, and it could easily create a recurring 'problem' for us heroes. As far as future exploits go, I'm up for anything, but if I had to choose, a sea-based adventure (as you mentioned a while back) might be interesting (of course I might be biased since Brin has little chance of drowning).

Re: Possibilities

A sea-based adventure would be a first for me in 28 years of D&D.  I'm not sure if I'm ready to take the plunge.

get it? take the plunge? nudge nudge wink wink

But seriously, water sounds good to me.
