Stepping protectively over his fallen companion, Cashel snatches a flask of holy water from his bandoleer, and promptly smashes it over the head of the oversized zombie.

Talvaroff shouted with the pain of the wound the skeleton had inflicted, and in retaliation chopped viciously at it with his greatsword.  It had no flesh, but the force of the blow must have knocked some of its magically bound bones loose.

Thamol turns his spells towards the skeletons seeing if that has more effect.
He fires his force missile at skeleton in corner (B6).

Cashel holds his left hand over the fallen half-drow, and quickly stick his right hand into his backpack.  He takes a flask out, and splashes its content all over the face of the massive chunk of meat.  Already rotten meat now burns profusely with the liquid bubbling over it, and its facec is now half burned off and melted.  A little spray of the holy water also covers the skeleton next to it, burning its bones like acid on a flesh.

Tarmes looks a little bit lost with no sign of Necromancer around.  Decided not to stray too deep, she reluctantly starts to splint back towards the exit.

The spider Sophia summoned crawls over both Penville, and Zar'da and tries to gnaw into the soft and squishy rotten fresh of the ugly monster.  But the blood soaked slippery leg manages to slide away from the spider fang.  Sophia makes a quick gesture as if she is running, and her feet momentarily blurs.

Thamol unleases another bolt of force energy, but this time towards a skeleton.  It strikes, and takes its hand clean off.

Zar'da rolls and lays down bleeding, groggy from the strike, he is no longer processing his surrounding.

Talvaroff retaliates with his greatsword, and takes a big hunk of smelly flesh out of the monster, with accompanying spraying blood.

Lexis swings her mace again and this time, takes the skull clean off.  It would have hurt badly, if the skeleton felt pain.  Luckily, the skeleton's structure was weakened from Sophia's Magic Missle earlier, and it crumbles.

The Monster swings it's left arm towards the man with the big sword, Talvaroff.  This time, his armor does the job, and pretects him from the crushing blow.  Two skeletons also tries to penatrate through Talvaroff's full plate armor, but the amount of metal is too much for the skeleton.

BOOM!

Suddenly, you hear a huge explosion coming deep from the mine and the mountain, and you feel vibration running through the entire side of the mountain.  Tarmes, Sophia, and Thamol notices that the mine is beginning to collapse...

Tarmes peeked into the cavern with the pool of water. After a moment she risked a longer look but apparently there was no one in there. "Burn me. He got away! I was sure he would stop here." Blonde hair flipped in the air as she turned on her heels back the way she came! "Blood and bones! The skeletons!" Tarmes ran back to help Thamol and the others!

OOC: Well so much for catching the big bad guy in the act.

Cashel spins his quarterstaff in a figure eight, lashing out in rapid succession, but the first strike barely grazes the zombie, and the second misses entirely.

Thamol moves out of mine.  He quite happy to get out of the place.
He make same hand movements and lets of another missile of force.

Talvaroff's helm swivelled around to see the source of the bang, but wasn't distracted long before making another cut at the bloated monstrosity before him.  He tried an overhead swing, and his blade drew a long wound once again.

The Cleric of Ilmater shows his skill with the quarterstaff, and tries to strike the meat-monster.  He glazes the monster slightly with one of the strike very lightly, creating a slight bruise.

"Blood and bones! The skeletons!", the blonde woman dashes back towards the entrance as the mine structure continues to weaken and several parts of the mine begins to fall down.

The summoned spider tries to bite deep into the fleshy monster again, and this time, its fang manages to find a soft squishy ankle.  Again, as the fang penatrate into the monster, blood spews out of the wound, and the leg of the monster shrinks slightly with the loss of the blood.

The elven woman looks around the mine, and sees the weakening structure with care.  She then for some reason steps a few deeper into the mine.

The elven male again unleashes a bolt of evergy towards the same skeleton.  This time, it takes the forearm off of it, but it is still standing.

The explosion draws the attention of the Impilturian warrior for a moment, but he refocuses back to more immediate concern, and swings his sword again, cutting deep into the shoulder of the monster, opening up yet another wound into the monster, with the acoompanying blood splinkler.

The rogue drops the mace she was swinging at the skeleton, and now draws a crossbow, which, dangerously, is already loaded.  She let the bolt go at the monster, and it strikes true into the chest.  Again, the breakage of the skin creates yet another spectacle of blood loss.

The big monster again swings its fist down towards the Impilturian warrior.  Its strike glances off of the warrior's helmet, and the warrior is unharmed.  THe skeletons also assault with the persistance, but again, they fail to affect the warrior as his armor does its job very well.

"YaaHARR!" Talvaroff yelled, inarticulately yet joyously.  He felt that he had the edge, that they were slowly winning!  He was pleased that his armor, crafted so long ago by himself, was holding up to the powerful blows of the creature, and sliced at the beast, copying the level, horizontal strike that had missed so drastically before.  It had better results now, though still not as powerful as he would have liked.

The stray rogue continued her race to get back to help her friends. She neared the entrance of the cavern and took stock of the situation. She was already angry that the wizard had gotten away and seeing Zar’Da on the ground didn’t help! Tarmes got ready to start throwing blades as soon as an opportunity presented itself.

OOC: I believe I used all my actions to get back to the front of the cave.

Thamol seems to never ending source of force spells.  Again he fires one of at skeleton he been.  He move around pass the skeleton and other creature that the group are fighting.

Cashel watches the slight damage the quarterstaff did to the monster, and decided to help the fallen comrade first.  He steps away from the monster, and lays his hand on Zar'da, and speaks softly as his hard glows with faint warm blue light.
OOC: Heals 1 point of damage with Cure Minor Wounds to Zar'da, Zar'da is stabilized.

Finally, Tarmes emerges from the tunnel and out into the dim evening sky light of the Vaasa mountain side.  She sees several fallen friends, including Zar'da who is near death, but narrowly avoided further bleeding.  She draws her intricate designed dagger as she runs past Opa, and get ready to help her friends.

Sophia looks around the mine walls, and appears to be waiting for something.  Not sure what she is doing, but she appears purposeful.

Thamol releases yet another bolt of energy towards the skeleton who has no left hand or fore arm.  It hits the left upper arm, and takes it clean off.  It still stands, but visibly weakened nearly collapsing.

"YaaHARR!", Talvaroff let's out a warrior howl, and slices the monster on the stomash area with the side slash.  It creates yet another gaping opening on the monster, and blood comes out with much force, showering the warrior who is already blood soaked.  The massive monster is finally beginning to start to look a little bit banged up with all the flesh flapping around loosely, but it still appears to have a lot more meat to be sliced.

Lexis takes another bolt out, and cocks it into her crossbow.  She aims and shoots, but this time, her aim is a bit off and the bolts flies through the air, striking the slope behind.

The rotten hunk of flesh again tries to smash Talvaroff with his right fist.  With its pieces of flesh flapping around now, it misses Talvaroff completely and smashes the ground very hard.

Skeletons again attempt to cut through the well armored man with futility.  If they only had a brain, they'd probably give up by now, but their mind has been long gone and they can do nothing but to continue obeying the initial order given.

The flying necromancer reappears around the corner in this rumbling tunnel.  He now carries a red blood shiny orb in his hands, cradling like a new born baby of his.  He doesn't appear to pay any attention to you now, and concentrating on the object he is carrying.

Thamol carries on his slow destruction of the undead.  Another missle come from the Elf.  He seems to have so many but not much power behind them.  The magic is native to him but somehow he need more practice to control it.

Talvaroff looked back again at the return of the necromancer, and was torn with indecision; on one hand, he would love to strike down the foul murderer, and bring swift justice upon him.  On the other hand, he loathed to leave the creature he was fighting to maul his friends.  In the end, he quoted the words of his old tutor and foster parent to himself;
"Do one thing at a time, and do it to its completion; or else by the end of the day you have done only half of twenty or so things, which is no good to anybody."
So, regretfully turning his back on Neclonius, he hewed at the bloated monstrosity before him, wishing to bring it to a swift end.

It was clear to Tarmes that the main danger to them all was in the form of a great ugly flesh monster. She had no way of knowing the necromancer she had chased so into the mine had circled back around on them. ”Take this!” She whipped her arm out, throwing her enchanted dagger at the creature and then leaving her arm outstretched for the magic to send the blade returning to her

The priest of Ilmater splints around to the other side of Talveroff, and swings his quarterstaff at the skeleton.  Perhaps distracted by the rumbling and collapsing mine, he misses the skeleton.

"Take this!", with the whipping motion, the blonde woman flings her enchanted dagger at the mass of flesh.  Again, the slicing weapon makes a gushing opening to the blubbery skin of the flesh, blood spews out and the hulking mass shrinks slightly yet again.

The wizard dashes, and makes it outside the mine.  As she jumps out of the tunnel, the part of the mountain begins to crushes down, and the mine is starting to be buried.

The other elven mage releases a bolt of force yet again.  After 4 missiles, the skeleton finally gives out and becomes a pile of bone.

The warrior locked in with the hulking mass of flesh yet again hacks a chunk off of the monster, this time, a part of his head.  Obviously it doesn't need the head, as you see plainly from the opened head, there is no skull nor brain.  The being is simply made of rotten flesh, it appears.

The rogue woman takes another bolt out of her quivver, and cocks it into the crossbow.  She let it go again, This time, her aim is not so accurate and the bolt flies away again.

The monster swings its left arm towards the warrior, and this time, finds its mark and strikes the Impilturian on the stomach, and the shock runs through into the armor of the warrior (The Monster hits Talvaroff at AC 24, and do 8 points of damage.)

The last remaining skeleton tries to strike Talvaroff along with the monster, but without the strength required to mash through the heavy armor, its strike fails to affect the Impilturian male.

The necromancer speeds as the mine begins to close off, and makes it out just in time as the mine completely closes.  Neconlius does not stop to watch.  He simply flies upward as he emerge out of the mine, and increases his speed and off into the sky...

The necromancer is now good 30' above the ground, and way off the map to the west, flying fast.

The force of the blow knocked the triumphant knight onto his back, falling with a loud clamor on the hard stone.  A look of confusion passes his face as his lids flutter shut, and his vision darkens.

OOC:  I'm at -2, and falling.

Cashel lashes out with another series of blows, both of them falling short of actually striking the undead monstrosity. Possibly still disoriented from the long sleep, the cleric doesn't seem to be proving himself very effectively in this battle, spiritual or physically.

The rumbling and crashing of the mine breaks Tarmes’ concentration. She catches her dagger as it flies directly back into her palm. But the blonde was distracted when throwing it again at the rotting flesh monster and unsure if the enchanted blade would hit the mark. ”Shades! The ruddy tunnel completely collapsed!” The fact that all those people she had seen inside were now dead had not occurred to Tarmes yet.

Cashel tries to refocus and straighten his breathing as he tries to correct his concentration.  He tries to strike the undead flesh with furious pace.  He fails to connect with one blow, and but the other blow manages to connect, and makes a slight bruise on the knee of the monster.
OOC: 13 hits the monster.  Give me the damage on the next post.

"Shades! The ruddy tunnel completely collapsed!", Tarmes is momentarily distracted by the rumble in the mountain, but the monstrous mass of flesh immediately draws her attention back.  She hurls her dagger again, and the blade slices open yet another gush on his arm with vast amount of blood coming out, and almost completely slicing it off.

"Suamsaebi Sisosi nonbuedi quoleter aniut miexi. , Sophia chants and waves her hands over her legs which blurs momentarily.  She then runs with great speed and runs away down the path.

Thamol also chants, and make a circle around himself with his arms.  Faint circle of blue orb surrounds him and disappears.

Both Zar'da and Talvaroff now lies on the ground, mourning and barely moving.  The body count on the ground starts to mount as there are now half a dozen bodies.

Lexis cocks the crossbow again, and reload.  She slides slightly, and let the bolt go again.  This oen strikes true, and blood spews out from the hole the bolt created.

Now the left arm of the monster is almost sliced off from Tarmes' dagger.  The monster raises the right hand, and swings down on Cashel.  The priest gracefully evades the strike, but he still feels the might of the strike when the fist strikes the ground.

Skeleton also tries to whack the priest of Ilmater with its hoe.  Again, the priest easily avoids the blow of the feeble skeleton.

Thamol move round a little so he can see both skelton and big creature better.  He remember he still has few spells left.  Only minor but in this case useful.  His dislike undead is power behind minor ability to hurts them just by force alone.
He produces a beam of white light which hurts them.

Use my Free 20 to do touch attack (no crit).
