Re: Round 2
OOC: Nope, as stated earlier; my first failed attack was a readied action that does not count in this round. The action above is my first round action. Also, don't forget that half-elves (such as Rayorr) are immune to sleep spells and similar effects.

OOC: Quinlan, thanks for alerting our DM about Rayorr's insomnia ;)
Rayorr should have moved to close with the spiders.

My 'net connection's been a bit iffy this weekend, I'll catch up tonight.

Sorry, if everyone will pause for a bit until I can sort out a few details, I'll update my post.

Round 2
As Palanhilion and Kylie beat up on the nearest spider-thing, the second and third ones cast something, with no effect.  Rayorr moves forward past Kylie and engages the far spider.  The first spider is now bleeding profusely.  Korgan tries to break free from the web, but fails.  Quinlan moves out of the tunnel to help in the fight.

Let's try this again, shall we?

Re: Round 2
The first spider snaps at Rayorr as he passes, and gets him on the leg.  It then Snaps at Kylie, barely catching her on the arm.

Re: Round 2
OOC:  Proof that the stereotypical elven superiority complex is rightly founded, I'd say.  ;-)

Stepping out from behind Quinlan, Palanhilion muttered a quick series of elven words, before pointing a single finger outwards.  A beam of fire struck out, reaching for one of the spiders...  but ended up going right into the ground in front of it, not even close to singing it.

OOC:  Step to H6, cast Scorching Ray at S2, ranged touch attack misses any AC in the world.  :p

The second spider shoots a web at Palanhilion, and it hits, sticking him to the floor of the cave.

Re: Round 2
OOC: I rolled "4" for initiative when starting the encounter, but since I'm assigned to act earlier I will ;-)

Quinlan moves further into the cave (to I04), along the stone wall, before launching another arrow at the spider in the back.

13:10, Today: Quinlan Fairfellow rolled 8 using 1d8. Damage.
13:08, Today: Quinlan Fairfellow rolled 13 using 1d20+7. Bow attack. (Spider 2)

And with Rayorr's Divine Favour that should be: Attack 14, Damage 9

11:27, Today: Rayorr rolled 3 using 1d20+2. Attack spider with sword

"Aaaaaggg!!!"

The priest calls out in pain as the spider bites him in the leg. The situation is quite dangerous and he realizes that they need to kill these arachnids or they will never leave these caves. He slashes at the spider with his long sword, hoping to dispatch it.
