I'm sorry to announce that, for the summer vacation, I'm taking a week-and-a-half-long trip to the US starting tomorrow, where I probably won't have access to the internet (though there is a small chance I will). So the adventure won't progress until I return. After I come back I'll try and put this campaign back in high gear with my exams having ended and I'll have much more free time.

My character would never suggest it herself but what if we knock him out and throw him in the sea? Unless there is someone watching at this very moment noone could know it was us. He's been seen wandering the streets drunk already. Only a high level cleric would be able to find out it was us who did it and then they'd have to find the body first.
If he survives we'd already have the guild on our backs if we got rid of him using another method.

Um, Pumilia wasn't there at the time, but weren't you guys charged with finding this guy's motives and employer? The guard wanted you to find out who was really behind the murders. Plus, Pumilia isn't bloodthirsty, at least, not right now, justice is more then just blades through flesh.

It's that whole lawful good thing.

My point is. I want to lessen the threat to the party. If what Lyral says is true the guild will come after us. We need the element of surprise on our side if the captain asks us to investigate further and we certainly don't need a large group of assassins on our case.

Hi all,

DM Magius sent me a message saying he will soon have to drop this region as a DM.  I am not sure when this will occur, but he has gotten very busy in real life of late, so he may not be able to get on as frequently as in the past.

I can try to take over Dragon Coast (again) or find a new DM for it, but the latter option will take some time.

And if I take over as DM, my posts will not be very frequent as well, twice a week, tops.

(Running Waterdeep, Sword Coast/Amn, and Savage Species regions in RoA and my normal workload will become intense at the end of August as the new semester of teaching starts.)

So I'll be happy to DM in Magius' place, but perhaps a new DM who can devote more time and attention to the region would be better.

Just wanted to give you the heads-up.

Damn it. This character always scares off DMs. Fisrt Inkeeper in Rashemen, now Magius.

I seem to have that effect with Pumilia as well. Heck, I've got a newer character that's already completed one adventure, and is now on her second, in the same region. I'd love to find a place were Pumilia can stay active, or at least, find a GM that can make this place stay active.

Yeah, I hear ya both.

One of the inherent problems with on-line gaming (and RoA, by extension)is DMs come on ready and able to devote time and attention to the game, but later their life throws them curves they did not expect and the game stalls or stops.

DM Magius was good enough to give us warning and not just dump the region and leave suddenly.

So we have time to get a replacement and are not forced into a sudden need to fill the hole.

(And I may already have a new DM in line, so hang tight!)

This may be DM #5 for me, since I joined this region.

Yeah, I asked to be one myself but Raven was in charge of recruiting and said I was too young. :(
