Re: How can I forget!

Penville should swap Bigby for my dog, Jeeves.  He's much more articulate.  :)  When he's hungry, he says in a deep, mighty voice,
"Moum mroom wommm..."
Well, it doesn't sound articulate, but he sounds like he's talking.  You know, with inflections and tone of conversation.  He's an Airedale.

Re: How can I forget!

Yeah, well you would NOT want my dog Gator. He's tall and lanky which makes his fast  but he's dumber than a box of ballpeen hammers. When he speaks it's more of a sould piercing BAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

He's a Red Tick English Coon Hound.

Re: How can I forget!

Bah, my three mutt cats will beat ya'll.  Especially the mother.  She and I often have a conversation (usually when I'm opening a can of food, and she's yelling at me bloody murder).

Re: How can I forget!

We have two cats as well, one meows as politely and as clearly as you could please, but the other's mute, and only occasionally makes a little screeching sound when he's really hungry or really desperate for something else.  We smuggled him in from Russia, so that kinda makes up for it.  The other one we've owned for all my life, eighteen years, and he's still hale and hearty.

Re: How can I forget!

How funny. We also have two cats. We had one that was about 18. We had to put him down because he had a baseball sized tumor on his spleen and a golfball sized one in his lungs. And of course my wife couldn't got two weeks before we had a new kitten to replace the deceased cat. He's cool though, sleeps either right between us or on one of our pillows at night. Both aer BIG babies though!

Re: How can I forget!

Cats are the ultimate bigots, yet the times they decide to love you are too precious for you to see them for the plotting little thingamajigs they really are.  I'm a dog-person, through and through.

Re: How can I forget!

Note on distance and time.

The slowest member of your group is the wagon/cart, which has 20ft ground movement (Equivalent of small humanoid ground movement).  With walking, it can move 2 miles/hour, and with hustling, 4 mph.  If you hustle more than 1 hour without having proper sleep for your race, you take 1 point of non-lethal damage, and you become fatigued.

So, if you hustle the wagon for 1 hour (Anyone with 40ft ground movement like all mounted people in the group, etcs can simply walk and keep the pace), you move 4 miles.  So you'd expect you will be to the place 'A few miles away' in an hour or so.

When I was on that road trip with m'Dad, I thought I heard some kids mention 'warforged.'  When I asked them if they knew about Eberron, they looked at me as if I was the Overlord of Planet Dweebtron.
