In reply to GM (msg #1):

Just a random thought . . . I am now positive that the true author of "Dilbert" works for our company, there are just too many coincidences.

Re: On the Dock (OOC)

Yeah, someone's made it into the game!

As far as Dilbert goes... I've been convinced of the same thing, at times.  One company I worked for had a policy that was right out of the Dilbert book.  It was a little eerie how exact it was!

In reply to GM (msg #3):

I dunno, we may have a lock on it here... I spent 2 hours in a meeting this morning trying to figure out how someone could talk so much and say so little...

Re: On the Dock (OOC)

Yay!  Now Mirna's here too.  I was beginning to worry where you guys were.

I'm looking to start the games posts real soon now, probably tonight.  It looks like we may have a couple of interested new players, but we'll add them in when it's a good time.  Since the game is ongoing, we're ready to go once you guys are.

I know most of us are rather new to rpol, so don't hesitate to put any questions here or in private messages.

As far as Dilberts in the real world... I recently saw an email from a new high level manager, and after reading it, my reaction was "Wow.  She wrote three paragraphs there, and didn't say anything!"

busy, busy week

I haven't updated lately, this week has been pretty flat out.

I'll get out updates tonight or tomorrow.

Glad to have the game back running again, though, and to see you guys here!

Re: Hello, all

Greetings Callianos!

Callianos is a new PC that will soon be joining our group, as character creation and storyline allow.

Also joining us shortly will be Kolarios Viramos, a young Zandir looking for adventure.  You can read more about him in his description, by clicking on his character name from "the cast".  I encourage you all to submit a brief (public) description of your characters here, so everyone can (re-)familiarize themselves with one another.

Re: Hello, all

In reply to GM (msg #9):

Greetings to both Callianos and Kolarios, and well met! I have already read the description of good Kolarios. I fear any description I put forth will be most mundane in comparison.

Re: Hello, all

Ah, even a mundane description is better than none at all!

And you can always update in the future.

In the interest of moving the game along, no one has seen the windship, but of course it is dark.  I just need to find out if anyone has any plans for the night, otherwise we'll skip to morning.

Moving along

I'll be opening a new thread shortly for the following morning.

I think I'll be doing that as a matter of course to keep things moving along -- I don't see a whole lot of activity in the night time thread, so I assume everyone has had a chance for their say or trying new ideas.

Re: Moving along

The inimitable Wraith Zephyr would like to extend a warm hello to all his future traveling companions.  He doesn't care where we go, or what we do, so long was we do it in style.

Derrrr (with complimentary forehead slap) . . . . . . didn't even think to check the ground for wreckage. Thanks for that most optimistic thought Mirna.

Re: busy, busy week

Okay, I've been a little behind this week, hopefully better as we get moving again.

We've got three new players in the wings, and potentially another one, I'm going to start up an introductory thread with them shortly.

So, welcome to our new players!

Re: busy, busy week

Been slacking as well, Kolarios is ready to roll but I'm behind on a few minor things. Moving offices so I'll be on as much as possible.

In reply to Jaxar (msg #14):

Hey now, Mirna is nothing if not pragmatic. If the windship isn't in the sky, either we've totally lost it (i.e., drifted off/left us, I can't remember if we left a crew on it) or... SMASH! CRASH!

LOL Kolarios, your post is terribly appropriate...

My son has mono, so I've canceled my trip to stay home with him. Feel free to ignore my previous post, beyond thanking Jaxar :)

Re: busy, busy week

Sorry to hear about your son being sick.  :-(  Nice that you'll be around for the weekend, but not at that price!  Hope he feels better soon!
